Times had changed, Kim realised that. Things began to move to quick for her sometimes as her mind seemed to be stuck in a place belonging to past adventures away from hogwarts. The sun was high in the sky, but you couldnt tell when in the forest, for no matter how bright the day was. It seemed to be a constant night in the forest. Some things never change.
The day had brought many people outside in the grounds and around the lake, and Kim wasnt one for mingling with those she didnt know anymore. She kept to herself and maintained her pride. People these days just gave out their life story to any random person, and Kim wasnt one to care much for them.
She had plenty of time to think over what she was meant to do, what she came back here for. Though each time her mind wandered to those that wouldnt like what she was doing, though she had no choice in the matter really. She used to believe in doing what you wanted, not matter what anybody else said. Though it seemed now she did what others told her, rather than do what she wanted to.
The forest seemed to be the suitable place to run away from everyone, though without going away like she did last time. She found herself wishing Bouncer was with her, at least then she'd have something that she knew could be relied on. Though where her little puppy was, she didnt know
As the trees loomed over her, she felt her tension lessen. For a reason, she found this place comforted her, though she had very little good memories of it.
Her head snapped around and she stopped dead, the sound of a twig splitting catching her ear. Kim narrowed her eyes, waiting for whoever, or whatever, it was to show themselves.

Her tail thumped the ground as she smelt a creature near her, her loud snort as she breathed out echoing about the forest. The deep growling from her throat was a mere warning to anything near her, her presence was to be respected. She suddenly inhaled a familiar odour, one of a human. She roared loudly, the very trunks of the ancient trees vibrating as she lurched forward, her shimmering eyes setting the gloom of the forest alight.
She appeared before the human girl, flaring her wings wide and standing on her hind legs, tail thumping the ground. She let off a low growl before landing and looking at the human girl with one eye, sensing a strange familiarity with the girl, for some reason.
Feeling as if she was threatening the girl, she immediately lowered herself down, laying on her underbelly while resting her head on her front claws, a loud yawn escaping her lips as she recoiled her wings in. She hoped this wouldn't threaten the girl anymore.

Kim heard a loud noise in the forest, making her stop dead in her tracks. She didnt quiver, she held her ground, curious to find out what it was that was making such a racket in the forest. The sound of the growl reaching her ears, Kim knew then what it was.
As the dragon hovered infront of her, its tail whipping the floor and its wings flaring, making the wonderous creature seem huge. Kim took a few steps back feeling a little bit threatened. She couldnt help but feel it, she was alone in a forest, with a huge dragon infron of her.
Though as it landed, putting its head on its front claws, Kim felt, somewhere inside her, that it meant no harm to her. Kim studied the dragon for a minute, feeling as though she had met it before. She took a cautious step towards the creature, slipping her wand into her pocket, trying to show it she meant no harm. She walked over to it, putting her hands on its scaly head, she scratched its head gently, feeling its powerful breath on her legs. "Uh.. hello" she mumbled to it.

The smell of the girl was alluring to her, but Shiela remained confused as to why she felt this way towards the girl. After several moments, she relaxed as she felt the girl place a warm hand on her scaly skin, right in the place where she liked it. She let off a small stream of smoke, being careful as not to hit the girl.
The girl spoke to her, her eyes snapping open as she raised her head and looked at the girl with one, turning her head sidewards to look at the girl better. The opal coloured eye shone brightly in the forest as she felt the presence of another coming, but knew where it was headed, the being of strange power illuding Shiela's senses. She growled slightly, before looking at the girl sympathetically.
Shiela nudged the girl slightly in the leg, snuffing slightly as she wanted to speak to her, but unable to create words, she simply turned her head into the deeper part of the forest and snuffed, asking why the girl was here.

When the dragon let Kim scratch its head, she felt less threatened. Kim smiled as the feelings of slight fear got swept away by the wind. Kim watched as the dragon let off a small stream of smoke, though it went nowhere near Kim, it was almost as though it was being careful not to get her. Kim couldnt help but smile, she liked dragons, though she had never met one.
The dragon raised its head and looked at Kim with one eye, Kim took note that the colour of its eyes were opal, as her hand dropped to her side, Kim didnt take her brown eyes off this creatures bright opal ones. Though she kept her smile and she wouldnt react fast, the last thing she wanted was o be dragon food. Hearing the dragon growl kinda set Kim on a little panic inside her, though she kept her calm outside. However, the dragon gave her a look which settled her.
Kim turned to look around the forest, knowing the dragon was still in her prescence. She felt it nudge her slightly in the leg, and Kim looked down at it, "What is it?" she asked, feeling as though the creature wanted to say something, however lacking the things it needs to create words. "You want to go further in?" she wondered, "Well i did come to take a look around and clear my head a little" Kim spoke in a soft voice, looking down at the creature.

Shiela snorted in response, standing up and wrapping her tail around the girls wasit, before promptly placing her on her back, between her wings. Shiela let out an amused snort, before flaring her wings wide. The feeling of having someone else riding her was strange, the difference of weight was great but she knew that she could adjust.
Lowering her wings again, Shiela took a few cautious steps, before peering at the girl to see if she was comfortable enough, or not holding on in sheer terror.

Kim had turned her head, looking at a different part of the forest when she felt something snake around her waist. Looking down she realised it was the tail of the dragon, Kim looked at the dragon wondering what it was doing. Her question was shortly answered.
When it put Kim on its back, she crouched down, making herself comfortable, gripping onto its back, but not too tightly, she didnt want to hurt it. When the dragon flared its wings, Kim felt the strong wind that came from it, blowing her hair in all different ways. It felt strange to be riding on a dragons back, but Kim liked it.
When the dragon took a few steps forward, Kim adjusted herself to make sure she had a proper balance. She smiled at the dragon when it looked at her, trying to show it she was comfy. I wonder what your name is... she thought silently to herself.

Shiela looked away in comfort, before slowly walking through the forest, even though it was dark and foreboding, Shiela knew the forest well. The thickest parts of the forest would not let her through, but her size didn't matter when she stuck to the paths she knew and the paths had created.
She felt the girl on her back tighten her grip slightly, a sign that the girl was relaxed. Shiela felt the eventual location was drawing near, a place where she felt most at home. Hidden inside of a cave, the cave entrance hidden by a large wave of ivy, Shiela came to a stop not too far from it. Not sure of what the girl thought of the place, she wanted to know by letting off a small stream of smoke towards the ivy, the smoke disappearing soon after.
Shiela looked at the girl and grunted.

Kim felt the dragon start to move. She put her head on its back, resting, feeling completly relaxed and at ease. She didnt feel like the dragon was going to hurt her at all, though she had been here many times, she didnt think she had seen it before. Though something inside her mind was telling her something was familiar about it.
When the dragon stopped, Kim lifted up her head, she took a look around and realised she was in a place she hadnt been before. She thought she must be somewhere deep inside the forest. The dragon let out a stream of smoke towards some ivy, which Kim guessed covered some sort of cave. She got the general idea when the dragon looked at her, as if it was asking her if she was okay to go in there. Kim smiled and nodded.

Shiela growled lowly, before blowing a deep stream of fire from her mouth, scorching the ivy as it instantly became ash and cumbled to the floor. Shiela let off a smug snort before walking into the cave, her eyes immediately adjusting to the gloom.
Knowing she had to be careful, she made her way down the only way she could, despite smaller trails leading off into different caves. The top of the cave was low, but she was small enough to fit comfortably as well as have the girl riding her back upright.
Careful not to roar too loudly, Shiela entered a room with a deep red glow, the scene before them holding a sight that could dazzle even a trained jewelist. Before them lay in the centre of a small island, surrouded by a ring of lava, a ruby that cast the light from the lava. The light shone off her eyes, casting a deeper effect into the room, but Shiela wondered if the girl was impressed with her find.

Kim watched as the dragon burnt the ivy that covered the cave's entrance. She was glad she wasnt on the recieving end of that. She liked being uncrispy. They entered the cave, which was dark, though Kim didnt have trouble seeing through the gloom.
Kim looked up at the top of the cave and kept herself low, knowing if she did try to sit up properly, her head would skim the roof. Kim's eyes drifted to the room they entered, she climbed down of the dragons back and looked around at the lava filled cave. Her eyes landing on the ruby. "wow" she whispered. She looked at the dragon and smiled, scratcing the underneath of its chin, "Your a smart dragon you are" she said with a smile. Kim looked around, it was a really beautiful place, though hot.

((Man... I'm involved with you in three different threads with three different charries... Lol, that's half the fun though ) Shiela roared loudly in repsonse to the girls comment and she looked smugly at the girl. She let off a low growl before stepping forward and reaching over the lava with her neck and taking the ruby in her mouth. Slowly moving away from the lava, Shiela bent down to allow the girl off her back, slowly letting the ruby go as well.

{Really? I only thought it was two, this charrie and Jerred } Kim watched as the dragon reached over and took the ruby. She watched as the red light reflected off the dragons eyes, casting a strange but pretty glow over the dragons face. When the dragon roared, it shook Kim. She had gotten used to being around the creature but it always caught her off guard whenever it made a loud noise. Kim bent down and picked up the ruby, looking at from side to side. She smiled at the dragon as she held the jem in her hands. "This place..." She said to the dragon, even though it couldnt answer her, "Its a shame you cant form words... even in the minds of others" She sighed laying her hand on the dragons neck.

[Nope, I have... Jerred, Shiela the dragon, Addis, Morziak and....................... Striker, lol. 5... Wow...)
Shiela looked at the girl saddened by her remark. She could speak with her partner through their mind link, but if he was here then she would have. She soon had an idea.
Calling upon his mind, she felt their minds briefly touch, hers soon acquiring what she needed to know. She let go of hold, leaving a confused and dazed man out there, but she would make it up to him soon enough.
Shiela roared at the girl, this time getting her attention to something she had used her claw to draw. She regained the smug expression from before.
The drawing wasn't a drawing at all, just a single word reading:
Hello.

[Five? Bloody hell... You mad person haha]
Kim looked back down at the ruby, seeming to try and study the red jewel. Though she knew nothing about jewels. If it was a star, that would have been different, or something about some kind of ancient creatures. She had learnt a lot about that when she had been away.
Looking across at the dragon, Kim smiled. It seemed to be lost in thought which she found quite strange. She looked back down at the ruby, seeming to get lost within its beauty. Then she heard another roar, by now Kim had gotten used to it. Looking at the dragon it seemed to be wanting to show her something.
Looking down, she saw a singular word in the floor, Hello. She looked back up at the dragon and smiled, "Hello" she said back. The dragon had in a round about way, spoken to her. Though Kim didnt know what else to say apart from, hello.
