It had hit him, just this morning. Or at least he thought it had done, he couldnt be sure. He had a feeling he had known for a while, but not known all along. He couldnt figure it out. It made no sense to him. He didnt want to, he didnt want to fall in love. It felt silly, stupid. Though he couldnt help it. The more he tried to back out, the more he fell.
He went by the lake, thinking maybe it would help him. It only made it worse. His face was looking tired, there were bags under his eyes, and the brightness of the green in his eyes seemed to have dulled. All in all, Maxi looked a little bit like a wreck. A nervous one at that. He hadnt been sleeping at all lately. He couldnt.
No matter what he did, it was always there, in his heart. On his mind. He sat, by the still water, holding his knees, watching the water. It was lifeless.
"I.." he said quietly to himself as though voicing his feelings might help him, "I think i love you" sighing as he thought nobody was around to hear it, he closed his eyes and rested his head onto his knees.

"Maxi you alright?" asked sarie. She sat next to him. "Do u have to take to the Hospical next?" She laughed and look out at the lake. "Wounderful isnt, how the moon light bonces off the water.

"Sarie" Maxi sighed, he shook his head. "No, i dont need to go to the Hospital, despite the way i look" he said looking out over the calming lake. "Yeah... Its certainly something magical"
Anybody who paid close enough attention could tell something was wrong with Maxi. He just wasnt his usual self, at all. He was in love. And this love was killing him. He wasnt used to such feelings and they drove him insane, kept him awake nearly half the night, no more. He was in love. And nothing could change that.

Sarie didnt have to face him to tell he was lying. "Whos made you so love sick. Maxi?" She smiled at him not knowing he was going to say. "I love the water."

"H-How'd you know?" he stammered. Was it really that obvious. Of course it was, he was sat there, pining like a lost puppy. Should he tell her? Of course, she was his friend. "Ashton... I love Ashton" it took a lot of his effort to say this, but he felt better for doing it. He looked back out to the lake, Maxi, was in love with Ashton. End of story.

"Thats so sweet Im glad you do. I know what you mean by love. You want me to say or leave you be?" She got up to leave. She gave him a fait smile.

"No, i think i want you to stay" He said as his tired face met Sarie. "Please, you're the only one who knows... Not even Ashton knows..." He told her. Maxi had told her, his lifes secret. And he felt as though he could trust this girl, she was a nice person. He tapped the ground next to him, "Please?"

Ashtom smiled softly he had been watching, and listening from a distance, hidden by some bushes. He tiptoed up behind Maxi and knelt beside him, wrapping his arms around the other boy's neck. "You have no idea how long I've waited for you to say that." He murmured as he nuzzled his face into Maxi's neck. "I love you too." He whispered.

"Alright i wont go any where" She sat next to him. "I told u im not go at talking right I can listen. " She so starnge sitting her next to on of her only friends she had. She wasnt good person... No that was her family talking not her.

Maxi's tired face turned around, his heart skipped a beat. He was here. Ashton. "You have no idea how long ive wanted to say it" he said with a smile, and it felt as though time itself had stood still, when Aston said he loved Max. He felt... More happy than he'd been in a long time. Since he could remember. He turned to Sarie and smiled, "Thankyou" he said to her, leaning over and giving her the biggest hug his tired body could muster. "Means so much Sarie" he felt like everything was well now. He had the boy he loved, Ashton, right behind him, and his best friend, Sarie, right next to him. Nothing could ruin this.

Sarie was held in a tight. Sarie was happy. She had friends. Her family was wrong. She was a good person. Should she tell her new found friends about her family or did they even matter. Maxi was right nothing could spoil this moment

Ashton smiled as he circled around Maxi, and promptly plunked himself into his lap. "So... does this mean we're official?" he asked giving Maxi a quick kiss and reaching up to play with his hair.

Maxi, for some reason knew the three of them would be inseperable. He didnt mind, he quite liked the idea. He looked from Ash to Sarie. He actually, for once, felt like he belonged here.

Sarie threw her arms around them both. "You have know idea how i fell right now." She felt the tears fall and her cheecks flush. She had friends after the lonely times in the past

Maxi smiled as he looked down at Ashton, "Of course it does! I love you dont i you great plonk!" he said with a laugh as suddenly something else seemed to jump him, and obviously, with Ash on his knee, and Sarie leaning on him, Maxi fell over, causing them both to land on top of him, "Im glad... Your happy Sarie!" he said with a smile as the girl clung to them both, putting his arms around both of them. "I think, we...As in us three... Will be ace"
