Maxi squeezed her with his remaining strength "Hey! No tears! We are your friends, and you shouldnt listen to such nasty things like that, parents are not cool" Maxi told her, it would seem the three of them had problems with at least one of their parents. "You are a good person, you know that, and to be honest, nobodys opinion but your own counts"

(lmfao since when did you become a mind reader? Maxi thought that, not spoke it... No matter, we'll play it along as if he said it) "Oh uh.. Nothing. I was thinking out loud" Maxi stammered. It was his mother that had supported him, before she had died, his father hadnt. His father despised what Maxi was, though Maxi found himself not caring.

"Oh, i didnt know." She stood up and looked over the water. She felt every awkward she had never told anyone not even her father, that she could read minds. But she didnt want to lose the firend she just got.

Maxi shrugged, "Yeah well its fine" He looked at her, suspicion clear on his face. He looked at Ashton and smiled.

Ashton looked from Maxi to Sarie. "Mind reading is pretty cool." He said. His face split into a wide grin. "But psychokinesis is even cooler!"

This is ridiculous! It's dangerous for those who do not know how to control it! He pushed Aston off him rather more forcefully than he meant to and stood up, walking away from them both, feeling as though his own thoughts were no longer private. She doesnt get it... he began to pace, he was stood away from them both, his arms in a defensive manor, You cant go around diving into peoples memories. Its an invasion of privacy, personal... He was frustrated, close to angry, boiling.

Ashton raised his eyebrow skeptically. "Your family thinks that if you read too much, you can become psychokinetik?" he asked dubiously. He rolled his eyes. "Talk about ridiculous! People are born with the gift. I should know, I am pyschokinetic!" He smiled warmly at Sarie, "You're not a freak, you're perfect. Just the way you are. And don't you ever forget that, or let anyone tell you otherwise." Suddenly he was startled as Maxi unexpectedly pushed him off his lap, and leapt to his feet and began to pace around. Ashton was worried but decided not to say anything. For the time being of course

No, she cant He didnt look at the two, he needed to think, but uf he thought would she hear? Stop it Max your going to drive yourself over the edge He was pacing quickly, his mind racing. He knew the sort of things that could happen with this. He had seen it so many times at Durmstrang. He had been there, through it... He couldnt, not again. No he thought angrily. Its dangerous... Privacy is private for a reason! Nobody has the right! Nobody! even though he was a leglimens himself, or a mind reader whatever you wanted to call it, he had become so against it it was unbelievable. He hated it.

Ashton bit his lip nervously. Maxi was obviously upset, and Ashton usually knew what to say to make him feel better, this night however, the words did not come. He slowly stood. "Um... I'm gonna head back up to the castle. I- uh, have some Divinations homework to do." he said, he turned to walk back to the castle when he remembered something. "Maxi, meet me in the Room of Requirement on the seventh floor at 11:00 tonight." he said, then walked away.
