Alexis couldn't believe what a mess they had been making in the Great Hall. The room was covered with food, even the walls were dripping every sort of concoction imaginable. Professor Hubbles was even getting in on it throwing food around with the rest. It was odd to see but quite appealing too. Alexis had already thought her professor cute but seeing him go at it with the students in a food fight made him even more appealing to her even though he was throwing food their way.
Taking her attention away from him for the moment she noticed a bowl of sweet corn flying their way, and she ducked just in case but nothing really happened. When she rose once more it was just to see some sort of liquid which might have been salad dressing flying right at her and she turned soon hearing splat, as it made contact with the side of her face. It was so gross and icky as it started to slide down making a squelching noise as it hit the floor drop by drop. Alexis wiped it off as best she could but she could feel how sticky her face was now. Why would anyone throw that? she wondered, but then this was a food fight so anything was game she guessed.
She was wondering if she wanted to continue but when she noticed a bowl full of pea soup sitting there looking so gross she knew someone had to get some of that, so picking it up she held the bowl in her hand lifted it up pulled her arm back then forward again throwing everything in the bowl toward the Hufflepuff table. Hoping to hit someone from the Quidditch team.

Russell hadn't seemed too pleased with Aidan after he had hit him with the pea/gravy/mash mix but he was soon distracted by a Hufflepuff girl who had also hit him. Aidan whooped wildly at the girl, 'nice shot!' he called to her and laughed. His laugh was cut short, however, when he got hit in the side of the head by some mash. It caught him off guard and he fell over the bench, landing flat on his butt.
Derryl laughed at Erys, she had very good aim. 'Nice one,' he chuckled when she hit a Hufflepuff. He whirled around as a lump of mash flew past him and knocked Aidan onto his arse. Ry laughed and threw one leg over the bench, holding a hand out for his brother to take. Aidan, scowling, took his brother's hand. He didn't like getting duped and he didn't like being laughed at.
Aidan pealed the mash off his face and grimaced at Derryl, who was still laughing at him. 'I'll teach you to laugh at me,' Aidan said through clenched teeth and threw the mash at Derryl. Derryl saw it coming and ducked just in time. He spun around in his crouched position to see the mash hit Erys on the shoulder. he laughed again and stood up.
Aidan's eyes went wide and he quickly occupied himself with throwing brussels sprouts at the Ravenclaw table, hitting Acelin and the people she was sitting with. Derryl was laughing at Erys and hugging his stomach.

Russell had been sitting very calmly, very quietly, Kellcie's hand in his, and he was watching her. They spoke softly and to each other and though they were with other people it hardly seemed like anyone else was around. But that happy little bubble burst when two all too familiar voices called out, Food Fight! Rus didn't need to turn around to know it was his ruddy trouble making brothers.
He let go of Kellcie's hand and moved to stand up when a large lump of sloppy mash and gravy mixed with peas hit his head. He froze. The mixture dripped onto his shoulder and he slowly looked at it. He didn't know whether or not to be angry and to laugh at it. He scrapped as much as he could out of his hair and off his shoulder. He turned around and saw Derryl pulling Aid to his feet. They didn't need more punishment.
He looked around the Hall, looking for his next victim and saw two red-heads fighting with Professor Hubbles. Russell separated it into two, took aim and threw his clumps of mash/pea/gravy at the two girls, hitting each. He laughed and saw Alexis. He winked at her and smiled.

More food came flying at her and this time she caught the person responsible. It was Russell Parkhurst of Ravenclaw, older brother to the two little deviants that started this whole thing. He was attractive Ginny always thought so but now he was going to look so much better looking with a handful of creamed corn in his face. She grabbed some and stood back a few feet taking proper aim at the front of his face. Closing one eye and using the other one for focus she threw the whole handful and it smacked him dead on creamed corn everywhere. She laughed looking over to Jac. He deserved it you don't mess with Gryffindors. More food was flund toward the Ravenclaw table now as she made them her new prime target.

Luna was seemingly ignoring all of the hullabaloo that was going on around her, and as a pea mash flew over her head, above her. However, the Ravenclaw knew just what was going on. The food fight was getting good. Luna could see out of the corner of her eye a Gryffindor get pelted with pudding. Luna shook her head. That was perfectly good pudding gone to waste.
Luna couldn't stand what was going on. Didn't all these people know that they were killing of Red Elbowed Franks? Honestly! They were already on the verge of extinction! The small creatures live off of sneaking little bites of food every now and again from the plates of students. However, they couldn't possibly get any food with it flinging in the air.
Luna was horrified. She couldn't be apart of this. Standing up and closing her magazine, she picked up her things. Ducking to dodge a slice of prime rib, she started out of the Great Hall. As she reached the doors she turned and yelled "FRANK KILLERS!" and ran up to the Ravenclaw common room, tears in her eyes.

Things were heating up, the twins could tell, and a bright indication of this was when a Ravenclaw girl ran out of the Great Hall crying. The twins, covered and dripping with food of all manner and sorts, hung on each other and laughed themselves into stitches. Someone had actually started crying, how priceless!
'Did you see her face?' Aidan managed to say through his laughter. Derryl couldn't even say anything. The success of the whole evening was way beyond anything they could have planned. But they weren't finished yet, there was the cherry on top that still needed placing and Erys would love this one, Aidan was sure.
Calming their laughter, the twins noted that the puddings had arrived and they pulled out their wands, jumping onto the tables. 'Thank you all,' they shouted, 'and good night!' No one seemed to listen to them because everyone was still flinging food. That wasn't a problem, at least they wouldn't see this one coming. Derryl turned and looked at Erys. He held out his hand and smiled, 'care to join us, lady?' he asked cheekily.
Focusing on the desserts, the twins started to count under their breaths. '... three ... two ... one ... Locomotor pudding,' they cried suddenly and most of the puddings in the Hall rose up into the air, floating around like lost souls. Many people stopped and watched the floating puddings but that was not the end of it. 'Descendo.' This time all the puddings flew quickly to the ground and exploded when the smashed onto tables, chairs and floors, spraying bits of pudding everywhere. The whole hall was covered as was everyone in it with delightful desert and pungent puddings. The twins bowed low and jumped off the table backwards in perfect unison.

Nikole had managed to dodge most of the food as the food fight had been going on. Other than a few spots here or there her robes were still less food covered than most. However, when she saw the Parkhurst twins step up on the table she knew something bad was about to happen. Sure enough as she watched the bowls of pudding float into the air, her eyes widened as she knew exactly what was going to happen.
As the bowls fell and the pudding covered everything Nikole closed her eyes and felt the pudding getting all over her and her robes. "Ugh!" she said very loudly. Why did those boys always have to make a mess of everything? Nikole glanced down at her pudding-covered robes and then looked over at the Slytherin table, right at Aidan and Derryl with an angry look.

This whole evening had been a blast, literally, as food got thrown all over the hall. Even the teachers, Ace noticed, had joined in. It was important to Ace's mind that such bonding happened in a school happened every once in a while. It brought the school closer together and built up morale. This was of course Ace's positive out look on the situation as she was happily flinging all manner of food around at Slytherins and Hufflepuffs (the Gryffindor table was just too far, she needed a bat for that).
The food was soon replaced with pudding, a perfect substance to wreak ones revenge on a certain Hufflepuff that had been pelting her all night with french fries dripping in some sort of oily sauce. Suddenly, two all too familiar voices rang through the hall. Ace whirled around to see Aidan and Derryl, the naughtiest brats she had ever had the misfortune of meeting but she loved them so (had to, they were related, if distantly so). Ace sighed and rolled her eyes at their show. "This explains everything," Ace said softly to herself but was brought back to the ruddy Hufflepuff when he threw a wallop of custard tart at her, hitting her in the side of the face.
Ace reached to pick up whatever pudding was next to her but there was nothing under her hand when it connected with wood. She looked down and saw that there were no pudding dishes on the table. Gasps erupted through the hall and Ace looked up and saw the most amusing sight. All the desserts and puddings were floating above their heads. She burst into laughter and watched the twins. What they did next was a complete surprise to her, they let the desserts fall. Ace gasped a second before they connected with tables and floor and splashed out, over everyone. "Ew!" Ace complained as she noticed she had jelly in her hair that kept changing colour. Ace looked at Alexis and burst out laughing. "Look at you!" she chuckled, clutching her stomach and pointing at Lex.

As Acelin began to laugh Alexis turned to look at her wondering what had happened that was so funny, then she noticed that her friend had been laughing at her. Alexis tilted her head to the side for a moment, feeling betrayed but only for a moment. When she actually stopped to think about it she realized that after all the food went flying most of it landing right on her she must look a right mess.
Most of the other students in the great hall weren't fairing much better either. Some had creamed corn stuck in their hair, while others were covered in peas. If she looked anything like them then it was no wonder Acelin was hysterical. Then finally looking down at herself Alexis could surely see what was so darned funny. Nothing left to do but join in the fun now she began laughing at herself.
Then taking a quick look she realized Acelin was also the worse for wear. There was even jelly in her hair. "Look at me? Look at you. All I need is some bread and peanut butter and I'd have a great sandwich right now." Laughing even harder she couldn't remember the last time she had so much fun. The Parkhurst twin had to be commended on their efforts at mischief especially when it caused so many to have such a great time.

Eyes widening as a carrot stick flew at her out of nowhere, Erys ducked, morphing quickly into her cat form to avoid it. Changing back afterwards, the Slytherin laughed, high-fiving a housemate nearby. Watching the twins as they levitated all the puddings, the seventh year clapped with delight, eyes sparkling. "Yessss!" She exclaimed, pride for the twins in her eyes. Scooping up a little decorative pumpkin from the disgusting yet gloriously food-covered table, she cranked her arm back, throwing it at Alexis. It was soft, so it wouldn't hurt upon possible impact.
"Awesome guys!" She called over the mass hysteria, finding the volume to have risen a huge knotch or two. Dodging something that resembled a chicken wing, only to have the gravy on it slap at her face, Erys grimaced, wiping it away with a pale hand. Laughing all the same. Attacking a bowl of fruit, the animagus used her hands instead of her wand to lift them and throw them in random directions.
Glancing up to find that the puddings were cascading down from above, the prefect leapt back, avoiding the schlop as it nearly hit her. A mistake, of course, on the twin's part. Surely they wouldn't purposely hit their allie, 'else she'd have to take them dooown. Hah, kidding. Pushing a glass of pumpkin juice at a little first year, the Slytherin grinned madly, her sides hurting from laughing so much. This was awesome.

Antoinette was trotting down that hallway with the Knight holding the wineglass when the commotion first brushed her consciousness. She paused, to listen, before picking up the trot once more. She was very late for dinner, having been out on the grounds without a watch.....again.... As she quickly passed the silly Knight, she glanced down at her cat, to see if he seemed to have noticed anything. Although his ears were cocked forward, a sure sign of....something, he seemed perfectly unalarmed. It took a few moments for Antoinette to realize that she was nearing the source of the noise. As she came to the great wooden doors that led into the Great Hall, she slowed, and eyed the great opening with apprehension. Something was happening in there, without a doubt. Curiousity raging in her blue eyes, she stepped forward, and with a giant heave, yanked the doors open. A roar of sound met her ears. With a gasp, Antoinette ducked, as a full plate of roast beef, potatoes, and something that looked like mince pie went hurtling past her left year. Ducking low, she scampered towards the Gryffindor table, laughing as she took in the full scale of the chaos around her. With reflexes toned by years of sports, she reached out and snatched what remained of an Icebox cake. With a ginormous heave, she winged it into the melee, aiming at no one in particular. Laughing, she ducked again, and hurried farther along the table.
