Ashton laughed as he watched Sarie skip around the lake, "You didn't have to leave you know!" he called. "In fact, I'd enjoy the company."

"Then next time dont say you want us to leave!" Sarie called from about ten yards away. She was heading back toward ashton when she wanted to play a little prank. "She pointed at a rock just about 8 inches away from him. "Ingoreo" Just like at breakfast the rock began to grow.

Ashton gave a small smile. "I never said I wanted you to leave." Then, Sarie pointed her wand at a rock eight inches from him and said the engorgement charm. "You know, that's not a very good idea for a practical joke." he drawled with a smirk as he flicked his wand and wordlessly cast the counter-charm. He gave Sarie a smile. "You might want to work on some nonverbal spells."

Ashton smiled. "I know. Just a suggestion." He lay back on the rock and closed his eyes. "I'm going back to my thinking." Ashton lay there, and thought about everything he and Maxi had done together. He thought about their trip to Hogsmeade, the Hospital Wing incident, and he thought about their very first kiss. It had taken place on the shores of this very lake. Ashton smiled at the memory of Maxi's lips on his, his lips were soft and warm, and when he wrapped his arms around Ashton's neck, Ashton never wanted him to let go.

"Ahhh...." Sarie yelled as she covered her ears. "Really need to learn to block this." She went bright red. "Didnt mean to hear that Ash, sorry.." She sighed. Lied down and though about her flying lesson and how much fun she had. The new question was who was the voice in side her head.

Charlotte had been gone for a mere matter of minutes before returning, a jar in her hand."Oh!" she gasped, "You're still here?" She grinned and clambered up once more. There seemed to be just enough space for agirl as small as her to curl up in. She folded her thin legs, her knobby knees jutting outwards. She placed the jar between the opening of her folded legs, and she rested her chin on her hands. "So," she mumbled, much more calmer then the earlier conversation, "Watch'er favorite creature?" she queastioned in a playful grunt.

Ashton blushed when he realized that Sarie had heard what he as thinking about. "Oops. Sorry!" He laughed, he rolled over on his stomach to face the two girls. "Personally, I like horses. I know they're a Muggle creature, but I still love them. They're so beautiful and majestic. Especially Lippizans, trust me you have not seen beauty til you see a Lippizan."

Ashton nodded. "Yeah... don't you think it's kind of strange that you have to see death in order to see them, and yet they're so gentle and peaceful? I mean a thing like death... one would think that they wouldn't be the way they are."
