Lidia held on to his hand. "Well, that's the thing. I don't know what happened to them. My brother saved me and I think in doing so all of my siblings died." She said, looking at his lips. "Why are you doing that?" She questioned.

Adam was confused for a moment before he realized what she was talking about. "Do what? Oh, you mean why do I chew on my lip? I just do that when I'm nervous, that's all." he said with a small chuckle

Lidia smiled at him. "So you're nervous." She said with a giggle. It was somewhat surprising how at ease she was with him. Before she could cause herself to blush, she took a drink of butterbeer.

Adam laughed as well. "And why wouldn't I be nervous in the presence of such beauty as yours?" he asked as he too took a drink of butterbeer. She has no clue how much I meant those words... he thought to himself

Lidia blushed more than she could have ever imagined. " Thank you. I think that may be the nicest thing anyone has ever told me." She said, with a smiled.

Adam smiled. "And it's true. Every word of it." Suddenly, he felt an urge to spend some time alone with Lidia. "Hey, would you like to go and sit out by the lake?" he asked as he stood to take her hand

Lidia watched him as he stood up. "I think I would love to." She said, as she gave Adam her hand. This is going to be some evening! She thought to herself.

Adam smiled and took Lidia's hand. "Lady Lidia, prepare yourself for an evening of magic and wonder." He led Lidia out of the Great Hall as he planned what was sure to be a most wonderful evening. First, they would have a moonlight picnic by the lake, then he would take her on a broom ride and together they would gaze at the stars and constellations.

Ian smirked, looking exaggeratedly thoughtful, before winking at Jac. "Trouble? You?" He grinned before shaking his head, "None for a Gryffindor!"
The champions were still clumsily dancing, and Ian looked over at Loren who was looking absolutely furious with a professor that was twirling her about. "Although, Loren can be really frightening when she wants to," Ian said, chuckling. "Believe me, I think that's what she and Fe--" He stopped himself suddenly, realising what he was saying, before tightening his grip, gently, on Jac's hand.
"But like I said, you'll breeze past this thing--" He was cut off by a sudden crash, and bellowing voices. With wide eyes, he craned his neck to stare over at the middle of the dancefloor, where swaying, giant, figurines had toppled. Finding it immensely unnerving that Salazar's brow was at his foot, he kicked it away with a grimace.
"I was hoping something like this would happen..." He trailed off with a grin, as he peered over the now huddling group of students that had circled around a particularly noisy pair. Recognising Loren's voice, along with Dax's, Ian turned back around, shaking his head amusedly.
"On second thought, how about we get you something to drink. And lets also hope dancing isn't one of the tournament challenges, eh?" He grinned, gingerly tugging on Jac's arm softly to pull her with him toward the table, as most people were fretting about the broken statue and rogue students and no longer dancing.
Handing Jac a glass, he nodded his head over to a couple of brawling Professors, and a woman whom he didn't recognize and smirked mischievously. "How drunk do you think Starsmore is?"

Scott led her to the dance floor and laughed, "Well honestly, I haven't in a while but I consider myself to be farely well at dancing," he answered honestly, "Infact, my mother being who she is, enrolled me in ballroom dancing classes as a youngter... I'm quite embarrassed about it still to this day, but I guess they've come in handy."
He stopped in a clear spot and turned toward her, "Now, lets see if you can dance," he said with a curious expression.

Ian seemed distracted, whether it was by Loren shrieking passed, which Jac noted with a slight pinch in her brow, or by the almighty crash that erupted. Jac turned to look at what had happened but couldn’t see very much through the students that were gathering around. She tried to stand on her tippy toes but then realised she already was in the high heals she was wearing. Giggling slightly she turned back to Ian.
As he twirled her around, Jac laughed joyfully. She enjoyed the light feeling tremendously in her head when he spun her and the dark black colour that her hair had turned reflected that. She was spun out and back in again and Jac noticed that Ian held her hand a little tighter now, as though covering something up but she was too out of breath to ask about it. And when Jac looked at Ian she noticed a look in his eyes that made her smile but she didn't say anything about that either.
He twirled her again and she laughed again, her joy clear on her face. "For someone who complains about not being able to dance," she giggled, slightly breathlessly, her green eyes shining with delight, "I'm having a great time." She smiled at Ian again. She was in need of a breather she realised and let Ian lead her off the dance floor. Soon he handed her glass and after taking a few sips Jac couldn't contain herself any more. "So you really like Loren, don't you?" she asked, glancing at Ian sideways, a nasty twinkle in her eyes.

"Dance Classes?" Ella asked curiously with a smile, tilting her head slightly to the side. Her smile was not teasing, just interested. As they stopped in a clear spot, Scott gazed curiously and remarked to see if she could dance. Ella smiled brightly. "I guess we'll see" She nodded to him. Although she hadn't danced in a matter of about 6 months, she knew she'd do fine. She'd known how to dance, much like Scott, from a young age. Mostly because along with her love of music (leading to a love of dance), her parents had always thrown many formal parties and balls, all of which she was asked to dance, so naturally her mother had taught her how to dance so she would know how for all the balls. Ella took his other hand, getting ready to dance.

Scott smiled down at her, "You ready?" he said, with excitment. Before he recieved a reply he began to move, slowly at first then began to pick up some pace as he got used to the music and it's beat.
He looked around, his cheeks slightly red then returned his gaze to Ella, "So," he said before clearing his throat, "Where did you learn to dance?" he asked, attempting to start a conversation.

They started along the dance floor, and they got going rather quickly. Scott wasn't lying, he was good, but she was keeping up quite well. She smiled as his cheeks blushed slightly, then replied "My mother taught me how." Her mind quickly flashed to her past memories, all those times dancing among the dining room...always while her father was away. Always. She focused her attention away from her thoughts, she didnt want to remember anymore, that would just get her in a dreadful mood. She focused on Scott again. "And you said your mother had you take dance classes being... who she was?" Ella questioned "Is your mother a dancer of some sort?" She asked the rest, curiously raising one eyebrow absentmindedly.
