The Groundskeeper's Hut

[Kim Rivers]

She glanced at the door. "I dont doubt that." she looked down at the floor. She whispered to herself "Sorry". She looked at Apronia and smiled. But not in a crazy way. In a Kim-like way. "So. Are you going to tell me what i want to know? Or not?" She looked out the window and saw Jerred making his way upto the castle. "I would hope you do kill me, if i turn into a werewolf"

[Jerred Boneman]

Jerred stopped and turned around, glaring through the uncurtained window and saw Kim, staring at him. He spat on the ground, raised his hand into flipping the finger and turned back, pulling out his wand and began blasting the snow out of his way.

Kim laughed. "I think i annoyed him" she shrugged "Im sure he'll get over it." Right now, she thought she'd favour being a wolf than seeing him again anytime soon. Or at least facing Fenrir. That idea seemed a lot better than running into Jerred. "Might as well go for it soon then. Nothing left to lose now"

Jerred had a damn triumphant smile on his face as he made his away across the field back to the hut. He kept the brisk pace up, seeing where he had blasted the snow. He laughed and felt his excitement grow further. In his arms was a book from the library on werewolves.

He opened the door, without knocking without letting Kim or Apronia know he was there. He looked at them both before unveiling the book he had. He walked over to Kim, harshly gripped her wrist and pulled her towards the table. He set the book down and opened it to a page on Fenrir Greyback.

"Only way to kill him... is to be a werewolf yourself." Jerred said, looking over at Apronia. "Claire has to be the one to do it."

Kim felt tears at the corner of her eyes. "You just dont give up do you?" She slammed the book shut. "She's going to die! She wont be here. She'll be dead!" she looked at him. "There's no way to save her and she knows this! I feel it constantly, her life slipping away." She smiled "But thanks for telling me. Guess i know now how to kill him." She thrust the book back into his arms. "Just.. go. If thats the only way to kill him fine. It will be done."

"There is... another way.... two others, well three.... two of them being either of us gets bitten and fights him... or we use Professor Addis's Exdamentia spell." He said, the last few words said a little louder than the others. "I ain't ever gonna give up if means seeing you live Kim, and I know what I said about Claire was wrong, she's going to live Kim. You may sense her life slipping, I didn't. I felt something in her that's defiant, and stubborn... like you are right now. Listen to me! We simply use the Exdamentia spell and get our conjured werewolves to fight for us!"

"Conjured werewolves? Sorry. Wont be strong enough. He doesnt travel alone and we'll be too weak if we use lots of them spells. We wont even get a look in. Not to thrilled on being a werewolf though" Kim looked at him. "But. Theres a potion, one that can reverse the effects. Its too late to use it on Claire but, say, i get bitten and fight Fenrir. It wont be to late to use it then. But i think i prefer finding a way around werewolfy turny. Though, id do it. And theres always the Wolfsbane potion too. Might not be all that bad" She thought back to Claire "No, she's fighting alright. But shes only got about a month left to live. She knows that but she will fight it as best she can. Though she wont win"

"Who says we have to fight Fenrir alone?" Jerred said. "We get all our friends to help out, make a sort of small army. You know Professor Addis, Apronia and Professor Wigglyfish already know that Fenrir's after you, hell maybe me too... but anyways Kim, we could do it, with out friends to help us." Jerred's eyes were swelling with tears as he fought to convince Kim, though he suddenly realised that it was a fruitless attempt.

"I'm going to try the Exdamentia spell anyway... I know I can conjure a werewolf already, just got to grow strong enough to conjure enough!" Jerred said, barely above a whisper as he spoke through gritted teeth.

[Kim Rivers]

She walked over to him and put her hand on his arm. She smiled at him and spoke slowly. "I know your only trying to help. And i know our friends would be more than happy to help aswell. But i cant risk dragging others into it. Its alright.. honestly it is." She gave him a quick hug. "But if becoming a werewolf is what it will take then im ready to do that." she let go of him and stood beside Apronia. "Though, a group of conjured werewolves could keep the pack busy. But that'd be all they'd be worth. Fenrir would only fight me, as ive said before. He wont do anything stupid untill its me and him. He knows what he wants and he'll get it. What he wont bank on is me turning against him" She smiled. "Well.. i think i may need to research on the wolfsbane potion. If you want to help me, help me do that"

[Jerred Boneman]

"No... you're not turning." Jerred said coldly, looking at her with the white of his eyes growing red. "I'll protect you no matter what it cost's me... and I'll protect Claire, anyone and everyone!" Jerred looked at her, breathing quickly. His fear was evident in his voice but he knew he could protect her, all he needed to do was grow strong enough.

Kim sighed "Whatever. Im still doing it. It wont be for long. Help me research the wolfsbane potion, and possibly the reverse for werewolf bites or just leave. Im not accepting anyother help than that. Though maybe ill accept help on keeping the rest of the pack off me." She wasnt going to back down, at all. Whatever he said wouldnt change her mind. "Thats the end of it"

[Jerred Boneman]

Jerred looked at her through the fallen hairs across his face. "Wolfsbane potion..." Jerred said, looking at the book he had brought back and suddenly opened it to a page where he had read about the potion. "There."

[Kim Rivers]

"Right. Plan time. We make the potion. I drink it before we go in. I get bitten. You stay hidden in the trees until i turn. When i turn ill act like im on his side and when i turn on him you conjure up a load of werewolf buds and kick the packs ass! Then i kick fenrir's, we win. We come back to the castle and search for that blasted potion on how to change me back. And im not doing anything different to that. Got it?"

[Jerred Boneman]

"I can't conjure anymore than four at a time... we need someone else, some one stronger in the Exdamentia spell... Professor Addis is the only one. He doesn't get weakened after summoning a dragon like I do. He could possibly summon more than me!" Jerred said.

[Apronia Silvanus]

Apronia had listened to their childish plots long enough.

"Listen, children. No one is turning into a werewolf." She flicked her wand, casting spells that bound them to two chairs, and another which channeled their magic directly into her wards, so that spontaneous angry bursts and concious effort couldn't be used to break the bindings. She took the book from Jerred's nerveless fingers.

"Rubbish." she pronouced. "This author has listened to far too much rumor. I have the testimony of someone who knew Fenrir. He can be defeated by a human. But Kim, you have to understand the nature of magical twins. The only thing sustaining Claire in her current state is you. If you die, she dies with you." she sat down and put a hand over Kim's. "I'm working on several experimental treatments and cures for lycanthropy, and they have much promise. Don't you want her to have that chance?" she paused, watching Kim absorb this, and pressed her advantage. "I will teach you what you wish to know. I will take you to Fenrir. I will let you kill him. But I must teach you the necessary spells. And *I* will formulate the plan. Are we agreed?"

If you agree to my terms, consider the spell terminated, if not, you're going to have to sit and wait. sorry i disappeared so long. college and all. i'll try to check this periodically over the next 24 hours so as not to make you wait.)
