The Groundskeeper's Hut

[Jerred Boneman]

Jerred had crept to the window of the Groundskeepers hut and overheard everything that had been said. He sat in the cold, shivering not due to it, but of what was happening to Kim. He wrapped his arms around his body, shivering from fright of what the one he loved was becoming. He wanted to cry, but felt no need to. he wanted to cry out, but found no voice.

Jerred wanted to feel Kim's touch, wanted to hold her but now, now he was afraid of her. He slowly stood and began to move away when he heard something behind him. He turned to see what it was, but nothing was there. Then he turned back to the school and saw who it was. He sighed, and let himself be resigned to the fate at hand.

(ooc: oh! I thought you were trying to bring someone else in!)

Apronia released Kim, cocking her head and listening intently before creeping outside. She rolled and darted as he looked almost at her, and came up behind him, standing forbiddingly in her black robes.

When Jerred saw her, he blanched slightly and sighed, and she seized his collar, pulling him into her hut and slamming the door.

"What is going on here?" she demanded, watching Kim out of the corner of her eye.

Jerred didn't realise the Groundskeeper was this physically strong. she threw him around like a ragdoll.

Once inside her hut she questioned him. His eyes were wide with fear. "What is going on?" Jerred said, looking at Kim, then laughing fearfully as he was. "I... guess I followed Kim. Intrigued by her sudden willingness to come down here. I followed her... and heard everything." He felt his cheeks suddenly burn, hoping they weren't a deep crimson colour.

Kims anger was not something on a good scale right now. "You followed me? And you spied too!?" her voice raising steadily louder. "What the hell is wrong with you are you completley idiotic?" she glared at him. And returned her gaze to the gameskeeper.

Apronia was watching them both cooly, seeing the desperate concern in Jerred's eyes.

"Caring about you is not idiocy, Kim." she said softly. "If you'd only have a little concern for yourself, maybe we wouldn't have to intervene.

Her eyes flickered between the two students as she waited for their reactions.

[Kim Rivers]

"How many times do i have to tell you?" she raged "I dont care! I wont care! Ever" She began pacing. "I know what i gotta do. What i want to do and i wont let anyone get in my way" she stopped pacing and looked at Jerred "Can you just stop dragging yourself into matters that clearly dont concern you?" she looked at Apronia "Even if i had concern for myself people would still intervine. And i came to you so that must prove the fact that im not going alone. At least not entirely" The anger subsided in her voice for a few short seconds. "Dont tell me you dont think Fenrir deserves everything he gets? He deserves to die. And i will always believe that." As she spoke the hate came flooding back to her. She wanted to hit something, really hard.

Jerred looked at the ground, narrowing his eyes. He clenched his hands into fists and felt his temper slowly rise. He countered that and forced himself to remain calm, however his words still came out harsh.

"You're not the only one who's had a run in with Fenrir, do you remember that!?" Jerred suddenly snapped as he stood. "I've told you I care about you too much to let you do things on your own! Now you're going back on your word and telling me to be involved when you had accepted my help?" Jerred looked at her, and felt the veins in his neck slowly rise to the surface.

[Kim Rivers]

Kim shrugged. "Well.. what can i say? I lied" she laughed "I told you what you wanted to hear. And that just so happened, when it came out of my mouth it was a lie. You've got your trouble with Fenrir, ive got mine. And ill deal with mine, my way." She laughed again "Did you actually believe me when i said i was accepting your help? Because if you did... well" she turned around. "Too bad. Guess your not as smart as i thought you were." she was being exceptionally cold. She was probably saying really hateful things to him, but right now she didnt care. "Do what you want. I dont care. Go out and get yourself killed. I dont care. But, and im saying this only once. Stay the hell out of my way"

"It seems that you never cared and lied all along." Jerred said, feeling his heart break as he slowly walked away from her. Jerred glared at her, tears forming in her eyes. He turned to the Groundskeeper and said, "I'm sorry for what I've done, it seems that caring for someone as stupid of Kim was wrong in the first place." Jerred smiled slightly, before leaving. He turned once back to look Kim in the eye.

Kim looked at him for a second before lowering her gaze. She knew what she had said was wrong. She knew it had hurt him. Though she didnt back down and didnt say another word to him. She also knew, come morning, she would probably regret it. But what was said was said and there was no way of changing that. She looked up once more "I guess it was stupid and wrong" she looked away. She turned her back to the door and crossed her arms. She didnt know what she was doing, but at least this way he'd probably be alright. More or less everything she said was the truth, lying being one of them. But she didnt want anyone getting hurt needlessly.

Jerred looked at her, never removing his gaze. He turned and walked towards her and pulled her into him, forcing her to let him hold her. He held her tightly, not caring if Apronia was in the room watching them.

Jerred slowly kissed for forehead, as he began to cryn.

Kim pushed him away from her. "Not going to work this time." She walked towards the other end of the hut. And looked at Apronia. "No disrespect but are you wasting my time or are you going to tell me what i want to know?" She tried to ignore Jerred, though her gaze kept going to him. She now knew, by the way she was feeling, that caring had made her weak. "It wont happen again" she muttered to herself.

Jerred clenched his fists. "Then your truly alone." He said in a cold, harsh voice. He turned and stormed out of the hut, but stopping at the door. "Hope you have fun with Fenrir, and if you turn into a dog, hmph, don't come after me as I won't hesitate to kill you." He walked out into the cold night air and slammed the door shut, stalking back to the school.
