(ooc: I would like to say that this thread will be Professor's Only. As it's night and every student should be asleep in their dorms, and not venturing out and getting attacked by werewolves.)
Leigh stood at the edge of the forest, remembering every word that the portrait had said to him. He stood nervously, twiddling his old wand in his hand as he awaited Apronia's arrival. He looked into the forest and wondered why he had been summoned so late and so hastily.
Leigh turned to hear someone coming from the school ground. As he turned it was Apronia.

Apronia looked serious, dressed in black battlerobes, bow strung and slung around her and wand in white-knuckled fingers.
"Thank you for coming so quickly. I must ask again that you allow me to handle this, unless it seems my life is in danger." she met his eyes seriously, wary of his impulsive nature.

"I'm only here as per request by Professor Wigglyfish." Leigh said, looking away. He looked into the forest and keened his senses to try and hear, smell or see anything. "You're the one in charge. I'm simply here to aide you in any way you need it, plus Wigglyfish herself said she'd come down here and see for herself if Boneman and River's claims are correct. Shall we be off, then?" Apronia nodded and began to walk into the forest, with leigh following her only a few strides behind her. Leigh felt the darkness grow around him, almost blinding if he wasn't an animagus. He smiled to himself as Apronia led them deeper into the forest. (ooc: Sorry for godmodding you, but we had to make a start and not have 20,000 posts making introductions )

(ooc: s'ok, as long as you don't godmod me for anything more important than walking)
As they headed deeper into the forest, the key's heat grew sharper and sharper in the hollow of her throat. She clenched her right hand a little tighter in her pocket, swished her left wand hand around nervously. They used no light, and Apronia's eyes scanned the darkness, eyes unusually sharp at night for a human.
"This way." it was a ghost of whisper floating through the shadows to Leigh as she pointed to a ravine. She gripped his shoulder, murmuring as low as possible into his ear. "We should scout it out from above."
The ravine was forbidding, sheer rocky faces with long grass like shaggy hair atop it. They stood at the base of the river, the walls rising above them in a gentle herbaceous slope. Further in it widened into an open area enclosed by rocky walls...the perfect spot for an ambush. Apronia could feel the concentrated anger emanating from the ravine.
"They're in there." she whispered to herself.

Professor Wigglyfish using a simple spell, followed the tracks of her gamekeeper and DADA teacher. Guided by a small light, so she didn't attract too much attention to herself, she was guided deeper and deeper into the forest. Seems the werewolves have moved back further in. The Headmistress thought to herself, feeling slightly relieved, if that was possible with a pack of werewolves close by.
If the werewolves had stayed too close to the castle, the plan of action would have been obvious, but having them in the depths of the forest - Esmerelda was unsure of what to do. The Forest is not a force to be tampered with. She thought to herself with a small frown. Apronia will know the full situation. Afterall who knew the forest better..?
The Headmistress crept along another fifty yards or so, crouching close to the ground as she moved. Up ahead she spotted her two colleagues and hurried over to them as quietly as she could. 'Apronia.. Leigh..' She said with quiet urgency. 'Is it Greyback??' The vital question that would decide all.

(ooc: Apronia, you're the only one who can write what your character is capable of, as I am the only one who can write my character as Gail is the only one capable of writing Wigglyfish So by godmodding you only walking, I was sure that's as far as I would go. Leigh closed his eyes and strained his ears, trying to hear for any sounds. He realised that all heard was the rustling of the leaves, and faint padding on the ground a fair distant away. He looked around behind them as Professor Wigglyfish joined them. "I do not know Professor." Leigh barely whispered, as he looked at Apronia, who was intent on the ravine before them. He looked around and felt someone or something watching them from a distance. He looked behind him, trying to feel something there as he was certain there was. He looked at Apronia and Wigglyfish, darting his eyes back in the direction he had just seen, wanting to investigate. He waited for some sort of acknowledgement from either of them before he left. (ooc: I'm planning on going to the shadows as a tiger, but it depends if you let me or not.)

((Go for it))
The Headmistress felt Leigh's anxiety and saw his eyes darting to and fro. He must have sensed something. She thought to herself, as she began to gain the feeling of being watched. And he is right – we are not alone. Esmerelda furrowed her eyebrows in slight worry. She knew it was in the DADA teacher’s nature not just to sit there and do nothing, so she gave him a quick meaningful nod to indicate he could investigate the nearby area.
The Headmistress peered in the ravine. We must determine if it is Greyback. She thought sternly. There would be no point starting a fight against a whole pack of werewolves - afterall they were people. Greyback, however, would be here for a specific reason. An evil reason, that would have to stop.

Leigh turned, gave a slight smile and closed his eyes. When he reopened them he saw the darkness illuminated him as he trotted off into the shadows. He smiled inwardly as he silently leapt onto a fallen tree as he began to hear some heavy breathing near by. Leigh crept up the fallen tree and saw him. Not Fenrir, but a tall and solid looking bloke, with sturdy eyes and greasy brown hair, matted down with dirt.
Leigh smiled like a tiger, as he squatted down and readied himself to leap, but remembered silence. He crept back down the tree and crept past the man, using his enhanced hearing to scout for any others.
Leigh found the long grass, as he crept into it, he found several trails leading to different edges of the ravine. He sighed, then scented that three of the eight he had found were recently used. He crept along the first one, his tail flicking along his legs as he made his way into a small circle of ripped out grass. In the centre lay a man with a wand, his eyes mad with glee.
The man turned, saw Leigh and was about to scream something as he pounced on the man, using his large clawed paw to muffle any sound. Leigh curled his lip back as he snarled at the man, who quickly went limp. Leigh grinned, as he went back down the trail and onwards.
He soon found the other two, and made quick work of them, grinning as he ran back to the first man he saw. When he returned however, he saw no one there. He smelt the mans scent, then heard a twig break from behind him. Leigh turned his head round and saw the man, pointing his wand at Leigh, a savage sneer on his face, twisted into a weird smile.
Leigh pounced, sinking his fangs into the mans throat as he let out an inhuman scream, shaking the very leaves of the forest. He leapt from the dead man, and turned and ran immediately back to Wigglyfish and Appronia finding them surrounded by several wizards. Leigh had remained in the shadows, not seen by the men, as Wigglyfish and Apronia each held their own wands out, drawn upon their attackers.
Leigh returned to his human form, and pulled out his own wand. He crept like the tiger he was, and aimed at his first victim.
"Serpentine Exdamentia!" Leigh cried as he summoned a boa constrictor, larger than the normal snake. It quickly put one man under wraps, squeezing tightly enough to make him drop his wand, but not kill him. The rest of the attackers turned to watch their fallen comrade twitch as the snake hissed at them. Leigh smiled, and fired off more spells before the men could react, each one having a snake soon bound around them. Leigh walked back to Apronia and Wigglyfish and pointed towards the end of the ravine.
"He's here alright..." Leigh whispered. "These..." He pointed to the still conscious men, "are mere gaurds, possibly the lowest ranked among his followers." Leigh turned to the darkened end of the ravine and sighed. "He's here Professor, and he wants us all dead."

(ooc: heeeey you betrayed out position! Ok, so I've got a plan that's kind of complex, so follow my lead)
"That was foolish, Leigh," she murmured, already hearing the other werewolves creeping through the bushes to find them. "Stay here until I'm gone. Then climb up the sides of the ravine and cover me from above." She looked at them both fiercely, feeling the Forest's pain at the blood spilled on its floor. She tucked her wand away and crept out through the leaves until she encountered a werewolf. She pulled out her bow, pointing a long silvertipped arrow at the beast's heart before letting out a howling growl. The beast whirled, eyes reflecting the sliver a of moon. He snarled but warily avoided the arrow. "Take me to Greyback." she commanded. He cringed in front of her and began to slink off through the underbrush. She followed.

(ooc: Had to make it a little more interesting! ;D)
Leigh ran down into the ravine, Wigglyfish following him. Each of them ran up one bank of ravine, and steadily climbed into the grass and waited. He watched as the werewolf led Apronia away. He pulled his wand, and smiled, knowing that some nast werewolves were going to burn by his hand.

A note fluttered its way, gently winging through the darkness, and alighted on Leigh's shoulder.
Inside it read:
Make no move without my signal. There are forces at work you do not understand.
-A
Apronia gulped once before plunging into the widening plain, glancing mistrustfully about her. The other werewolves now had her scent, crowding about, but she swung her bow around, and they kept their distance, snarling.
"I demand to speak with Fenrir Greyback!" she called loudly.
(OOC: 10 page paper due tomorrow at noon. I'll post more after that. Meanwhile, you and Wigglyfish can have an argument or be worried or something. Don't kill any werewolves yet, ok? I've got a plan!)

((Aye, aye! -Salute- I'm intrigued about this plan of yours! ..Awesome posting btw people.. Sorry for the crapness of my ones, heh!))
The Headmistress turned back to Leigh sighing quietly. 'That was your idea of investigating Leigh?' Before he could even open his mouth to retort, the Professor shot her head forwards to turn all her attention and concentration back to the scene before her. She watched in concern as Apronia was led away from them.. and as more and more werewolves began to crowd around the gamekeeper.
When Apronia once again demanded to see Greyback, there seemed to be an almost silent communication as the werewolves turned to each other with piercing eye contact. Careful, Apronia, Careful. The Headmistress thought to herself, her eyes deep with worry. She tightened the grip on her wand and waited silently for the result of the demand.

Leigh took the note, and read it. Cursing under his breath. Leigh decided to send back the note, but then remembered Apronia was surrounded by werewolves, all capable of attacking once she was distracted. He sighed, then remembered Wigglyfish.
He turned to the Professor and replied, "Yes, that was my idea of investigating!" He said. "I didn't know he had moved then saw me, he was about to Avada Kedavra me, while I was in my tiger form. I couldn't defend myself, so I launched myself at him before he could blast me."

Mandrake stumbled throught the dark forest tripping over tree roots in his path. He was exausted and ready to leave. He pulled out his wand and did the Lumos charm. He wlaked a little better but still stumbled a little. He noticed a faint light ahead of him. He seen the silouttes of three people. He turned and ran back to the camp awaiting the battle.

Apronia was mainly keeping the werewolves back by the intimidating, dominant set of her shoulders. They came to a stop at the base of a large boulder. A huge growling canine loomed over her, snarling a little.
"Greyback!" Apronia shouted, startling her unwilling guide into a humiliating scared yip. He darted away but she ignored everything except their leader. "I have an offering for you. You have been searching for Kimberly Rivers, have you not?" she pulled her curled fingers from her pocket, and the tiny girl sitting on her fingers quickly stood up as Apronia reversed the shrinking spell.
Apronia seized the full size Slytherin by the shoulder, whispering in her ear, "Remember the plan!" before pushing her forward to her knees. "You can have her!" she said more loudly to Fenrir, "IF you will leave the rest of Hogwarts' inhabitants alone!"
