Accio Doom

[Keifer Brently]

Keifer felt Thom take hold of his arm as they were running. Slowly they came to a stop. Keifer began to look around frantically, still seeing the dark shapes as they moved closer.

Lethifolds? What the hell Keifer thought to himself, knowing instantly they were in trouble and in a lot of danger he began looking for an escape route. Not finding one he hoped to hell they were slow. "Death trap? Not much different then from any usual day"

Keifer carried on listening to Thom's explanation wishing he knew what the hell to do. Unfortunatly, his mind was still blank. He still couldnt think straight. Keifer was still dizzy and light headed and his joints in his arms and legs seemed to still be stiff. He wasnt much use in fighting or running.

"Everyone's thought something that is dangerous to be fascinating" Keifer said, not really looking at him "I thought the squid was... then it tried to munch on me"

Keifer heard a voice and looked around. He had seen this guy previously in the forest when he went in there alone. "We didnt create anything. And the wand thing... yeah that was my fault but i didnt mean to summon them all! Fascinating coincidence my ass" Keifer heard the wands, he was still weak and stiff and didnt have time to move as each connected with him. Keifer fell forward onto his hands, the magic from the wands weakening him even more. "Do what the hell you like" Keifer snapped at him as the black shadows moved towards them.

"He said, do we want help" Keifer weezed. He was rapidly running out of energy and the shadows were getting closer. Keifer closed his eyes to concentrate, more to get some energy, but as another three wands struck his back, Keifer fell forward, if anymore hit him, he'd pass out and be a lying target for them creatures.

Thom spun round to see Keifer lying on the ground. "No!" he shouted.

Darting forward he stood in the path of the wands. He looked at his own and gave it a stern glare. "For me?" he ask it. The wand quivered slightly. "Good. Aguamenti! Aguamenti!"

Jets of water began firing from the end of Thom's wand, stopping the arrow in their decent. Some broke through, but were so disorientated by the water that they found themselves smashing into tree trunks, the wood bark showering down on Thom and Keifer, passing through Erich.

"Get up, Keifer!" Thom begged. "Aguamenti!" he gave Keifer a quick squirt to jog him.

Keifer looked up and saw what he was doing "Believe me, i'd love to" He said, lying down. He looked up at the wands and tothe shadow figures. They had stopped which striked Keifer as strange.

He saw Thom still firing his wand and instantly saw why they had stopped. Three were stood right behind him. "Thom! Behind you!" He called. Keifer tried standing up but instantly fell back down. He tried again and only managed to stay upright by leaning on a tree. His eyes slid closed, hoping that Thom would have heard him. He couldnt think, he didnt know what to do.

Thom heard Keifer's warning shouts and looked over his shoulder at the ground. Three large flat lethifolds were right by his feet, passing over each other like smog so that they could surround him. Thom racked his brain for a spell, his thought getting foggier as the lethifolds worked their icy, paralysing magic. "Incendio!" Thom fired a blast of magic above his head, lighting the forest floor like a great, vast firework.

The lethifolds seemed to strink in size, as if pained.

"Up, you!" Thom grabbed Keifer's arm and dragged him up. They began to run away once again.

Keifer joints were burning as Thom dragged him through the forest. He glanced back, Enrich seemed to have vanished, like he does.

Keifer and Thom ran for a bit until Keifer stopped cause he couldnt run anymore. His joints were blasting hot sharp pain through his whole body and Keifer began to lose sight because of the pain.

He looked around and noticed a small ditch and pointed to it.Maybe they could hide there.

(( Just as a point of reference, I direct you to my lesson. I.E: That's why the 'Accio' spell was so powerful at this point.))

Thom noticed Keifer weak hand pointing to the merky little ditch. "Yes, good idea." he panted, out of breath. "How are you, Keifer? Are you feeling any better?" he asked as he set Keifer down gently.

The forest was silent now. Nothing moved or sang, no twigs snapped, no branches rustled. Perhaps they were safe.

((So theres a comet coming over the school and it makes magic more powerful.. right got it))

Keifer slid down the ditch, finally able to relax and get some of his strength back. Damn those wands... Damn those creatures! he thought angrily to himself as he lay with his back on the mud, for once, caring about something other than his hair... His actual life. "This school... is a bloody death trap!" he muttered. Hearing Thom ask him a question he answered it as truthfully as he could "I think ill survive, not really great or good.. But ill survive" he said. The forest was an eerie sort of quiet, Keifer had a feeling something bad was going to happen.

(( If the comet is going to come into this then I best get my OTHER ass out of the tower and come back to you! :S ))

Thom patted Keifer's shoulder encouragingly. "Good."

Raising his wand in air, he muttered, "Lumous," and rested it oh a thick ancient root sticking out of the ground. "This place is cheerful, isn't? Come here often?" he pretended to make small talk.

(( No, No, the comet isnt going to come attack you or anything xD Just, in the time-line, this plot is happening the day after my class, so because of the comet all magic is heightened, and that's why the accio spell was able to take everyone's wand.))

((OOh wand stealing... not that i stole them))

The light had illuminated the place, feeling slightly sickly he smiled. "Ive been here a couple of times... Nothing much really, just come here to get away from people, ive never ran into any of these before though" He told him

[Thom Moen]

(( Ah I get it now. Comets gone - but wands got messed up by it... wow thanks for that add on. Makes the plot more interesting. ))

Thom nodded slowly, taking in the surroundings as he listened. "I've never had the guts to come in here before. I don't think I'll ever have them again, to be honest. Lethifolds... can't believe they're here. We'll have to tell someone when we get out - the headmistress, a teacher..."

In the distance, just over the ditch, Thom could see something that looked like a skeleton lying on the ground, something that was not human shaped. "Looks like a... uniocorn?" he said to Keifer, although he could not see the horn.

[Keifer Brently]

Keifer smiled "Ive never ran into... Anything apart from... today" He said through breaths. "Its normally been... quiet when ive come here... though... maybe they were just waiting... or something"

Keifer saw the skeleton too. It looked like a unicorn but Keifer didnt want to find out what it actually was "I... dont want to... know"

[Thom Moen]

Something twitched in Thom. If the horn was there - or even a little tail hair that had not decomposed or been carried off - then it would make him a lot of galleons at the Hogs Head. "Wait here," said Thom, as if Keifer was in any fit state to do anything else. "If you see anything, shout. I'm going to check it out..." he scrambled out of the ditch, and began to jog towards the skeleton, his foot falls light and quiet.
