Fin sighed, somewhat dissapointed. "Okay, if you want to, going Doberman's fine with me," he said smiling. Lisa looked at Fin's disappointed gaze before glancing at the Hippogriff. Then, smiling slightly, she stood up tentatively. "You know, actually, I'm always in the mood for a challenge," she said, gripping her wand and looking at Fin with a small grin.

"No no, it's fine. Do what you want Lisa! Besides, I like dogs!" he exclaimed, smiling broadly.

Leigh was bemused with the students choices of animals. He noticed that hardly anyone went for the mice, for fear of a weak challenge, he didn't know.
"Now, since some of you have selected the animals, now, allow me to give you your chances of winning against them with their magical qualities." Leigh said, flicking his wand and a board came shooting down in front of the blackboard. He used his wand to point to the mice first. "A mouse has the most magical ability, for their small size the two spells are hard to use on on small creatures. The lynx and Doberman are of equal size adn therefore have the same ability of magical power. They are the easiest two. The two birds of prey, harder than the lynx and Doberman, but relative easy. Now, the two hippogriffs... hard creatures because of their extra limbs, but please, you must ASK them if you can bind them. Please, remember your courtesy with them.

Ron blinked, staring at the animal with horror. Jabbing it slightly with his wand, he sighed and slapped a hand to his forehead.
"Easiest my arse!" He cried, slumping his shoulders and sending the mouse a glare.
Just his luck. This type of thing always happened to him.

Lisa looked at James sheepishly, holding her wand loosely in her hand. "Well, at least we know we'll be able perform the spell properly?" She said, petting the animal beside them with a small smile.

"Yeah," he replied. "Maybe finally I will be able to do something that won't get me in trouble with him," Fin said, nodding in Professor Addis's direction.

Draco sighed, watching his bird with boredom. He had perfected these spells ages ago and would have no trouble performing them on this creature. Gathering his wand, he turned toward the animal, wondering whether the professor had anything else to say or if they were to start.

"You may begin." Leigh said, noting caring anymore. The class should be able to handle themselves. He sat down on his chairs and began to write a report of students behaviours.

She walked over to the disgruntled Gryffindor and asked, "Want to be partners? Might be difficult having to deal with a little bugger like a mouse."

Lisa watched the dog for a moment, before looking back at Fin. "Alright, ready?" She asked, pulling out her wand.

Ron turned around, slightly shocked at the sudden voice, when he came face to face with a Ravenclaw, by the looks of it by her robes anyway.
Looking at her brightly, he smiled as he stopped prodding the mouse in his small revenge.

She laughed a bit and sat down beside the boy, "I'm Halo, by the way. So... how do you think we ought to go about trapping it?" she asked with a short jab at the field mouse.

Lisa watched the dog for a moment, before looking back at Fin. "Alright, ready?" She asked, pulling out her wand. "As ready as I'll ever be, I suppose," Fin said, excitedly.

Ron moved a little, giving the girl more room infront of the mouse, and grinned, "Ron Weasley, though I'm sure that's obvious..." His grin faded when he looked back at the small squeaking creature.
"I suppose we could start by slowing it down, then tying it with the ropes?"

"We probably don't need to do much, just slow it down..." She said, then looked over at Fin. "I guess we'll just perform the spell when it charges?" She said with a questioning look.
