Prof Addis decided to teach the class two spells in this lesson. Something he had never attempted before. He sat on his desk while waiting for the students to arrive.

"Morning, Professor." Jerred said, as he strided into the room.

Grace skulked into the room and stopped in the doorway to look around. She scanned the room for somewhere to sit and picked the second row on the far end. As she walked in she muttered, "morning Professor."

Halo walked into class and smiled, "Hello Professor Addis. How are you today?" she asked as she sat down in the middle of the third row. She wondered what lovely spell they would be learning this time.

Draco strode into the classroom arrogantly, his eyes scanning the room for a free desk. Smirking, he walked right to the front row and settled in the middle desk, looking up at the Professor mockingly.
"Good-morning, Professor." He said innocently, placing his textbook on the surface in front of him.

"Good morning everyone." Leigh said, closing his eyes and not retaliating to Malfoy's tone. He simply smiled and opened his eyes focusing upon the Slytherin. "Nice to see you adamant on learning something today, Draco. 5 Points to Slytherin." Leigh stood and walked to the front of the class and tapped the board with his wand, lettering displaying two spells they would be learning, or at least honing this lesson.
"Today, we'll be learning two simple, yet effective spells. Incarcerous and Impedimenta. I know they're simple spells, but a wizard or witch most likely has no idea when or how to implement them into a duel, or an attack. Now, who can tell me what each spell does?"

Fin walked in, somewhat irritated. Professor Addis was probably his least favorite teacher, and he almost never looked forward to his classes. 'Sorry I'm late," he said in a monotony voice, not even bothering to look up at the Professor.

Lisa, who had come to class early to finish up some homework and sat unnoticed in the back, waved Fin over with a small grin before looking back to the professor and raising her hand slowly, "The Incarcerous spell conjures ropes that can wrap around objects," she paused and looked over at Draco, remembering the last time he had to use the spell in the Forest with a shudder, before continuing. "While the Impedimenta spell has the power to stop an object, or slow it down..." She withdrew her hand from the air and looked back down at her paper.

Fin walked over to where Lisa was sitting, in the back, as always. "Hey," he said, sitting down."Why do you always sit way back here?"

Lisa smiled with a shrug, "I'm not sure, I guess I'm sort of used to isolating myself..." She paused and sent him a cheerful look, "But, next class we can sit at the front, if you'd like."

"Nah, if you like it back here, then so do I," he replied, giving the same cheerful look as her. "I was just curious is all."

Lisa grinned, "How sweet of you, Fin." She said teasingly, although looking at him gratefully.

"Oh stop, you're going to make me blush,' he joked. "So ummmmmm, perhaps you could help me with something," he asked. "What exactly were we talking about before I so rudely interupted our fine Professor Addis," he said, rolling his eyes.

Lisa nodded and smiled, pulling out the small amount of notes she had taken and passing them to Fin. "Not much at all, really, he just introduced the two spells, Incarcerous and Impedimenta." Then, watching as he copied the notes, she grinned, "I hardly ever get to see you blush, maybe I should flatter you more often."

He smiled as he finished taking down the notes, with his usual chiken-scrathc handwriting. "Oh, please, if you're going to make me blush, please, for my sake, do it in private. You have no idea what that would do to my reputation."
