Lisa felt excitement travel through her limbs. She always did love the uncertainties of Potions. Gathering the vial filled with poison, carefully, she watched the lime green liquid for a moment before gathering her own navy blue antidote.
She smiled slightly, the contrasting colors, she believed, were a good sign and would contradict each other, hopefully canceling one another out of the body's system.
Walking nervously to the table, Lisa looked at the other student's vials with curiosity, wondering what poison she was to consume only moments from now.

The Headmistress flicked her wand and the potion ceased to bubble violently. 'Nevermind Miss. DeBoer.. just bottle it up and come to the front.' she said kindly. She walked upto the first student and conjured a small glass of water. Uncorking the poison vial, she carefully added a few drops. 'Go ahead Miss. Ollivander.. don't be nervous..' She added as the Ravenclaw eyed it worriedly.
Helia picked up the glass of solution and took a large gulp of it. She waited a few moments, and began to cough slightly.. whilst turning a strange shade of green..
[OOC: Opportunity to describe the effects and take the antidote! Again.. good post equals good result! I'll say how successful the antidote is..! =) Meanwhile.. other students can comment on what they see! I'll give each student a day or two to reply..!]

Since doxy venom was usually administered as a bite, drinking the poison was quite strange indeed. It tasted something like a mix between moldy grapes and watermelon juice, though it was much thicker than juice, 'No wonder people get boils after being bitten. The venom is so thick the bloodstream most likely can't handle it at first. Gross...' she thought, then teared up slightly, as the purple liquid stung the back of her throat. It made her eyes itch, it made her throat itch, it made her tongue itch. In fact, almost every part of her that could itch, was itching, and some places she thought it was impossible to itch were itching as well. 'Oh what I would give for a horse hair brush right now...' she thought irritably as she writhed beneath her skin. The itching became increasingly worse, as though thousands of fire ants were crawling all over her body and stinging her repeatedly, or as if she had millions of mosquito bites, only a mosquito bite was nothing compared to how this felt. She began to scratch her arms, which were now turning a pale green color. 'Groooss!' she thought, and then felt as if she would hurl, though it was not because of her skin color. She realised that since doxy venom usually was taken into the bloodstream in a bite, there wasn't often enough to get to a persons stomach, but having drunk the poison it was now affecting that in succession. And then a head-ache began to form at her temples, slowly spreading to the fornt of her head though "Quick... someone uncork the antidote... please..." she said, feeling quite nausious. She thanked Lisa as the hufflepuff prefect handed her the opened vial filled with the blue antidote she created only moments ago. She quickly swallowed the potion, which tasted much like a minty-fruit tea, though the snake fangs gave it a sour after taste. She immedeatly noticed her stomach settling and her skin returning to its normal color, though it took a minute or two for the itching to subside. Her head ache was still there, though significantly diminished. She looked at her vial and noticed there was still a bit left in the botom, which she quickly swallowed, to make sure all symptems were cleared up. She set the vial back down, and when she no longer felt the throbbing behind her eyes she stated happily, "I'm cured. Hurray!" she smiled.

'Excellent! Really Brilliant!' The Headmistress announced happily. 'Instant counteraction.. 20 points for Ravenclaw!' She said with her wide grin not going anywhere. 'You are free to go Miss. Ollivander after that performance - you are free to watch as well. Right.. who wants to go next?' She walked over to the first student who put their hand up and followed out the same procedure as before. Handing over the glass with a few drops of the poison.. the class waited for the reaction.

Lisa timidly took a few steps forward, not feeling as excited as she had before. It was better to get it over with as quick as possible, she decided, raising her hand and then taking the poison from the professor with an uneasy smile.
With a deep breath, she tried to ignore the students anxious glances toward her, and took a quick swallow of the potion, gulping it all one go. Instantly, she regretted it, wishing she had taken it only a bit at a time as the potion was lumpy and burned like acid as it traveled down her digestive system, sweeping through all her organs incredibly fast.
Coughing, she dropped the vial on the desk, her vision blurry as she grabbed for her own antidote, hoping desperately it would work, mostly because she wanted the sensation of the prickling in her organs, the liquid eating them away, to stop. Feeling her muscles pull, and her own immune system trying in vain to stop the poison from traveling any further, she shakily swallowed the antidote just as fast, if not faster, than she had the poison.
Unlike the lumpy, bubbly texture of the poison that had tasted bitter and had a putrid smell, the antidote was smooth, cooling and smelled strangely like some of her mothers cleaning materials. The burning sensation in her organs intensified momentarily, probably because of the stings she had added, before suddenly neutralizing with the antidote.
She could almost feel her organs building themselves up again, and knew it was because of the salamander blood and pomegranate she had added, as they quickly strengthened her body to the best of their ability.
Her eyes, which were squeezed shut for most of her experience, quickly opened, and she took in a huge gulp of air. Her chest constricted slightly, and there was a buzz of tremors in her left hip, but she allowed herself a small, exhausted smile.
"I think it worked... For the most part, professor." She said, placing the vial neatly next to it's opposite that carried still small drops of the lime green liquid.

The Headmistress did something not unlike the an Irish jig as she clapped Lisa. 'Excellent Miss. Turpin! You had a particular tough poison to deal with.. and you've done brilliantly!' she announced grinning. 'Twenty points for Hufflepuff!' The Headmistress beamed.
She did get rather overly excited about potions.
'The original combination of pomegranate and salamander blood worked very effectively!' She added approvingly. 'What a great start..! Who would be willing to follow these two?' She chuckled to herself as several students avoided eye contact with her.. some looked eager.. and the odd few just looked plain bored. She walked over to the next table. 'How about you..?' The professor asked kindly, whilst handing over the posion..[OOC: Come on.. anybody!]

'Perhaps, you would like to have a go then Mr. Boneman?' She said with a playful smile.

'A go at what we have been doing for the last ten minutes, Mr. Boneman.' The Headmistress replied looking more amused than annoyed. Just at that moment, the grandfather clock in the far corner of the classroom chimed loudly. 'Looks like you've been saved this time.' She said quietly to Jerred before addressing the class. 'Well done everyone! Brilliant lesson! You are free to go now..'

Professor rolled her eyes slightly with a grin. 'Nice to know my lessons are so enjoyed..' She said to herself quietly, as the other students took a bit more time to collect their things and leave the classroom.
