"I was just wondering...um...dragon scales always conteract any type of weed ingredient? Am I correct?" she asked. She had a finger holding her place in the book and she looked down at the ingredients to another poison.

'Yes thats right.' Professor Wigglyfish smiled in reply. 'Most materials from Dragons are very useful - particularly the blood. In fact, I suggest looking up the twelve uses of Dragon blood. It may help.' She then put on a cheeky grin. 'Though, er, admittedly the twelfth use - as an oven cleaner is not so revelant.' She gave a small chuckle.

Alondra laughed and turned to the back of the book which listed the uses. "I guess it could be if you're not a muggle."

"I do," Jerred said smiling. "I finished the task and simply wish to be on my way to do some homework." He smiled wider.

Keaira rolled her eyes. Jerred certainly did like to attract attention to his own success.
"Professor," she said, raising her hand and trying to bring the lesson back to actual learning, "would it be fair to say that dragon's blood can be used as a substitute for some specific herbs, or is it better to choose the herbs for their specialized uses?"

"Herbs for specialised uses." Jerred said, butting in before Professor Wigglyfish could.

Professor Wigglyfish looked at Jerred with a small smirk and turned back to Keaira. 'As Mr. Boneman rudely interrupted to say.. Herbs with their specialised are usually better to use - though in some cases dragons blood can prove a vital ingredient.'
The professor turned back to Jerred. 'Oh and about leaving early... we haven't had our little test yet Mr.Boneman so.. no.' Jerred looked ever so slightly annoyed whilst she just bore a wide grin. Intelligent lad, that one. she thought as she walked away from Jerred.

Sighing, Jerred sat back down and flipped his vial around with his right hand. he wasn't so much annoyed about not being let go early, but he wanted to go research a if they're are spells to split two souls from the same body.

Jinesh had a lil time left but he was ready....he was so busy in finding his ingridents that he forgot that there were only 10 mins left....but nevertheless his antidote would be prepared in 5 mins....phew he thought...it was the most basic antidote he had looked up in a book he started a fire under his cauldron...he added some water.....added some nettle-mint, shrivelfig....his antidote turned a slight orange....ya cmon perfect he thought....then he added essence of belladonna, bubotuber pus, Doxy eggs , dragon hide, blood, heart, liver, horn, claws, he then stirred the potion which was green by now 6 times clockwise and 7 times counter-clockwise......he told professor a reason for the stirring which he himself had discovered and also had tested it on his pet monkey at home.....he spoke,"professor.....6 is 'satans' number and 7 is considered 'magical' number..now 6 is for clockwise stirring meaning that satan is poisoning the person....7 times means magic is counter-attacking poison....as 7 is greater the person is saved....i tried this theory and i succeded....."he looked around as all others were starring at him in awe.....anyways....his potion was ready....he took a few drops from the cauldorn in a vial and gave it to professor to test it and waited patiently....just 3 mins remaining

The Professor gave Jinesh an approving look. 'Good attention paid to implementation.. the number of stirs can make all the difference in a potion.. ten points to Gryffindor!' She said with a smile.
She once again looked at the grandfather clock at the side of the classroom and announced. 'Times up! Everyone come round the front desk with their posion and a vial of their antidote!'

She walked forward, the purple vial of poison that was assigned to her in one hand, and her blue antidote in the other. She set them down on Wigglyfish's desk and waited for further instructions.

Gaia was annoyed, everything had gone wrong. Her potion looked nothing like anyone else's. it looked as if she was going to do some serious work over the course of the year, that uspet her: She was used to doing nothing and getting everything from it.
