Leigh saw felt the sudden feeling that powers had been entwined. He hung his head, knowing that it would at least happen another two times to anyone, anytime, anywhere.
"Apronia... welcome to your new power." Leigh said, a shaky smiling over his lips. "I've always wanted to know if such a thing was possible... and now it is."

Novella stared at the hufflepuff incredulously, then yanked her arm from his grip, turning back to the two adults and the strange orbs. She didn't know what they were talking about, but she was sure she wasn't leaving. "Just because you're a prefect doesn't mean you can boss people around," she muttered, moving away from the boy to stand beside Professor Addis, calling out to him softly. "Professor? What---?"

(OOC: I realize that there is already a ghost in the forest, but I am a physical being cursed to exist in the forest  ) An evi, shadowy laugh emanated from the forest, the leaves rustling with the very pitch of the sound. Watching from behind the cover, the shadowy figure of the unknown man drifted into view, like shadows rolling along the ground. Carefully hiding his face, he held out a gloved hand at the group of tresspassers is the forest. "Who... would like a wish granted?" Said the Dark Figure, evil radiating from his voice. |

Boggleworth sighed well if she ruddy well wants to get involved it's her lookout Boggleworth stared at the dark figure as he approached from the forest he had his wand at the ready in the sleeve of his robe for easy access, he gripped it for comfort ready to use it.
"Why the hell would any of us want a wish granted by you?" Boggleworth said incredulously.

"Well, you know, I'd kind of like to know what in the world is going on here," Novella snapped, her anger overcoming the timidness she often felt, being in the presence of so many things she had not, until her acceptance to Hogwarts, been aware existed. She was a Gryffindor, after all. Gryffindors jump right in.

"Young Henry... Hufflepuff... please don't fear me." Said the dark figure, laughing at the young boy. "My powers are beyond anything you could control, not even your beloved Professor's can stand a chance against me... nor what else is in this forest..." An evil sneer spread across his hidden face, none of the people in front of him aware of it. "Now, who would like their wish granted..." His held out hand waved once before coming down upin Henry. "You wish to have one of the dragon eggs... Haha..."

Agitated and fear running through him, Leigh suddenly exploded. "Don't listen to him! He only speaks lies and makes you deals you cannot escape from! I know why..." Leigh said, trailing off. He trembled with fear as the Dark figure stood in front of them. "Leave now... all of you, none of you has a chance of saying no to him!"

Novella looked up at Professor Addis, shocked by his outburst. This didn't seem so bad, not compared to the stories she had heard other students tell, about a man who controlled the very winds and made the trees grow teeth... but if a teacher was as scared as Professor Addis seemed to be, maybe there was reason for alarm. Still...
"We... We can't just leave you here, Professor." She said, balling her left hand into a determined fist and drawing her wand from her robes with the other. "Or atleast I won't. The others can do what they want, but this thing doesn't scare me." Presently her white ferret, Darin, scrambled out of her robes to perch on her shoulder. She nodded approvingly, adding "Darin isn't scared either."

Boggleworth stared at the dark figure cripes we're in trouble he thought. "I ruddy well don't want a flaming Dragon egg! Keep the blasted things away from me, I want no part with them!"
Leigh was scared so Boggleworth knew they were in deep trouble and that courageous Gryffindor was just going to make matters far worse.
turning to the Gryffindor Boggleworth said seriously in a voice of steel "It's not a matter of being scared you fool, this thing is beyond any of us, it's just flippin common sense to get the hell out." I'm not going to be the fool who tries to blast this thing Boggleworth thought but this Gryffindor will I'm sure, ok let's just move away slowly whilst I keep blabbering on.
"So evil...thing, I thank you for your kind offer but I must sadly decline!" as he uttered these words Boggleworth went to stand next to the professors.

"Everyone, just leave!" Leigh snapped, ordering the students behind him. Leigh stepped forward to stand between the students and the dark figure. Clenching his hand he would not let them be harmed by anything, especially from something he knew he had no chance against. His legs shook as a sign of the fear he held. Feeling a sense of foreboding, Leigh felt one of the remaining eggs in his robes slowly vibrate.

Novella gritted her teeth, pushing aside Addis to stand back beside him. " No. Bloody. Way." She insisted, eyes locked on the spirit thing, her wand held out, tight in her fist. Darin stretched out, hissing loudly.

"Do as your fabled professor says, child. Your life won't be in jeopardy then." The dark figure said, laughing. He lowered his hand and opened it, allowing a 13 inch long black wand to appear. He gripped it tightly and with a simple flick, fired the small white ferret away. "Now who's hissing!"

Novella growled, low and inhuman, whirling around. "Accio Darin!" she yelled. Darin's flight was reversed in mid air, and he shot back into her arms. She turned to the ghost thing, eyes burning with anger.
"You little coward!" she hissed, wand held out, her hands shaking with anger. "You attack a defenseless animal? Attack me. Don't tell me to run. I'm not afraid of you. Attack me, coward! Reducto!"
A blast of red light flew from the end of her wand, traveling quickly toward the ghost.

Melding into the shadows, the dark figure allowed the red blast to blast past where he just was. Returning to his physical form behind the girl who attacked him, he put his hand on her head and channelled his energy into her very being. A black aura could be seen over her as her eyes began to fade in darkness.
"Understand this now, little girl, and the rest of you! The darkness is my domain! Trespass and you shall be obliterated!" The dark figure spoke with harshness. Suddenly flinging the girl towards the Professor's he laughed and disappeared into the shadows letting them leave this once.

Novella scrambled up instantly, seeming uneffected by the dark aura. She crouched over the body of her ferret, who lay twitching in the dirt. It was quickly apparant why. The black aura, before surrounding both Novella and Darin, shrank rapidly to encircle only the ferret, his white fur marred by the darkness. Novella let out a low sob, gathering Darin into her arms and crying, her tears soaking into his fur. "How could he... how could he..." She murmered softly between sobs, her wand lying discarded beside her.
