Kim walked into the great hall and noticed the slytherin table was empty. She went over and took a seat. It was unusually quiet without the normal hustle and bustle. She liked it. She sipped her water and relaxed. Someone walked in and caught her eye. Hes cute she thought. She smiled lazily at him and sipped her water again.

She sat there holding her water in her hand looking at him. She realised she was staring so looked away. "Hi Brian. What you reading?" She said. He looked like he didnt want to be disturbed so she shut up before she said anything else stupid.

Jerred strutted onto the table. He saw Kim and Chase there already, his stomach clenched as he had the perfect to annoy Chase. He snickered, before realising he had to act punctual. he approached the table and sat down, a little ways from Kim. He grabbed a plate and started taking food from it. Amazingly, he stuffed his face into a chicken leg, before something hit his side.

"I never said i was concerned about you. I asked if you were okay. And anyway your a slytherin so what difference does it make if i sometimes get concerened about people? I wont bother asking next time" She said turning away from watching Brian read his book.
