Halo walked out by the lake, finding the castle rather stuffy at the moment. There was very little wind today, letting the surface of the lake remain completly calm, like one large mirror reflecting the sky back at itself. She smiled and laid down beside that lake, staring at the clouds in the water; the clouds beneath the sky. She smiled, everything was so peaceful right now, it was hard to think that she had so recently thought she would be expelled, or that before that Kim had been possesed. It was almost as if right then and there she was getting to start over, like the past was just melting away. She closed her eyes, letting herself feel happy for the first time in a while...

There was a phenomal whoosh as the Giant Squid broke the surface of the lake, all tentacles flailing wildly. He settled after a moment into a rhythm, first tentacles 1-4 slapped down, then tentacles 4-8 did. The waves this created hit a sandy patch of shore very close to where the young Ollivander girl sat, and the Squid kept a luminous eye on her as he continued to stir the lake into resembling an ocean.

She raised an eyebrow at the squid, then rolled over and sat up, more for curiosity's sake and wanting to see better than anything else. She smirked slightly, was the squid dancing? she chuckled slightly and continued watching with intrigue.

The Squid continued making waves crash upon the shore with alternations of tentacles 2-4 and 6-8, and with tentacle 1 and tentacle 5 gestured to the watching Ravenclaw, making little swimming and surfing gestures. *The water´s fine!* he tried to say with gestures.

She raised an eyebrow at the water creature, "Are you trying to get me to join you?" she asked slightly shocked. She wasn't sure about this, even though she believed that the squid was helpful, as he had helped so many students in the past, there was still a part of her that worried the squid might try to drown her.

The Giant Squid waved his two free tentacles back and forth as if he was holding a lighter at concert. *Come in, come in* he seemed to say, and splashed cheerfully at the lake´s surface.

She laughed, "Well, I guess if I am drowned at least I die in the coolest way." she took off her school robes and dove into the lake, swimming around the dancing squid.

The Squid continued his manipulation of the waters, but let his movements propel him a little further out. He kept careful track of the small being swimming around him, so as not to hit her with his tentacles.

She continued to swim around for a little while, then swam away from the squid a little bit and began to tread water, "You aren't like most squids are you?" she asked, thinking that this one seemed a lot more... human? -than most animals.

The Giant Squid, if he had a voicebox, would be making a contented chirring sound as he casually slips a tentacle around the girl´s ankle. With a spurt, they are shooting underwater, and he draws her down and down into the depths with undulating movements of his tentacles and mantle.

As she was dragged beneath the surface of the water she thought to herself, 'Still the coolest way to die.' she would've begun laughing, except she didn't want to waste what air she had been able to capture in her lungs before she began her descent into the lake.

The Squid dragged her down and down and down to his favorite cave, with a nice lawn of lakeweed out front. He turned her round with his tentacles, spreading them apart to expose his gigantic beak, and swallowed the young girl whole. He let out a slight burp and settled in for a nap.

She stared at the squid just before it swallowed her 'So... slimy' she thought, making a face as she entered the creatures belly.

She looked around her new surroundings, 'Well this certainly something' she thought as she noticed a few dead fish, a clump of seaweed, and some poor students half decayed wand, floating around in the squids stomach. She thought for a moment before grabbing the wand. She wasn't planning on using it, she didn't know any spells for getting yourself out of somethings stomach, but if she did get out she would try to make a new wand for herself out of it since the centaur broke her own.

(OOC: at the behest of Vampyroteuthis, great name, btw!, ¨here I come to save the day!¨-Mighty Mouse, PS Helia! You could use the semi-broken wand to cast a Bubble Charm on yourself so you don´t drown/get digested)

An urgent alarm went off in Apronia´s hut, and she raced to the edge of the lake, scanning to see where the Squid could be. He wasn´t visible anywhere, the bloody trickster, so she tapped her wand on the surface of the lake, sending a frission of magic with a gentle summoning charm on it.

¨C´mon, you worthless bugger, surface!¨ she urged him, gripping the hastily seized vial more securely with her fingers.

The Squid slightly overshot the surface, crashing back down into the lake with a phenominal SPPLOOOOOSH and glaring at the Groundskeeper with eyes larger than the woman herself. He held up two tentacles threateningly, advancing closer to shore.
