She decided that even though she couldn't escape the beast, she might be able to keep herself alive for a bit longer. She cast the bubblehead charm on herself and found that she was able to breathe once again, 'This just might turn out well for me...' she said as she began to search the squids stomach for other items discarded by reckless students. Or at least she tried to, but at the moment there was a huge jolt upwards, 'And now we're falling' she let out a small scream right before she heard a large 'Splash' indicating that the squid had once again entered the lake. 'Well what's happening now... Grr, this would be a lot nicer if the squid had a porthole, or window of somesort...' she crossed her arms in frustration and waited to see what would happen next.

¨You want to eat something, you merda! Mangliate! Non me ne frega!¨ She waded into the shallows, making rude gestures and hoping she could curl up quickly enough so the Squid wouldn´t bite her in half.

The Squid eyed her, a little apprehensive, but gave a squishy shrug of his mantle and seized her, exposing again that giant keratinous beak and swallowing her in one bite.

Quickly casting a Bubblehead Charm on herself, Apronia look around, seeing the intact Ravenclaw with relief. She hugged the girl tightly, a little hyped on adrenaline.

¨You´re safe! I´m just going to administer this concentrated Chuck-up Elixer* and we´ll be out of here in no time. All right, piccola?¨

She nodded, "Sounds good to me," not knowing what would happen after the Chuck-up Elixer was administered, she held on to the womans arm... just to be on the safe side.

Apronia shifted to face the beak where they were soon to be expelled, pouring the vial carefully onto the stomach lining, where it was quickly absorbed by overactive capillaries. They waited.

The Squid felt the bellyache form with extreme distress that bi---witch! He began to writhe in the water, clamping his beak shut at first. But it was no use. Giving in, he opened it wide and let the contents of his stomach hurl outwards, spurting ink in shame at his weakness and fleeing to his cave to sulk. How was he to be respected, this mangler of ships, by other Giant Squids if he couldn´t keep down two measly humans?

Apronia surfaced in the middle of the ink blot, helping Helia, who still gripped her arm, to move towards the shore, stained slightly black and feeling a little nauseated from the pitching motions and the smell of half-digested fish. The bubble around her head had dissipated as she´s been distracted in the vomiting process, and she collapsed on the grass with a grateful sigh, exhausted.

Once on the shore she turned to the Grounds Keeper, "Thank you miss." she said with a slightly weary tone in her voice.

¨Any time,¨ she said darkly, glaring at the spreading ink. ¨Ms. Ollivander, I believe I have the shards of your wand in my laboratory. Perhaps your relatives could mend it for you.¨ she stood on wobbling legs and started for her hut, looking over her shoulder to see if the student was following her.

Her jaw dropped, 'No way!' she beamed and followed the woman, a new spring in her step. Noticing that the Games Keeper was still a bit in shcok from the bout with the squid, she tried to help steady her, as she herself was too excited about her wand to be terribly stressed about the squid

Gesturing Helia to stay at the door, since many of the substances she used in her work were either toxic or psychotropic, she rummaged through her drawer till she found the delicately carved wooden box housing the remains of the girl´s wand. She placed the box in Helia´s hands with care. ¨Stay out of the Forest. And don´t trust the Squid.¨ she smiled briefly and turned to fiddle with some knobs on a microscope. ¨Run along now, try to stay out of trouble.¨

She nodded and bowed, "Thank you Miss Silvanus," she said before running off. 'Now that I can repair my own wand... maybe I can use this one to make a new one for Kim!' she thought excitedly.
