Draco let his fingers skim across the bookshelves, his eyes narrowed in a thoughtful frown and his fingers tapped the spines of various books.
"Ancient Runes Made Easy, no... Advanced Rune Translation, no not that either..." He muttered, his eyes scanning each of the shelves curiously.
Finally, his eyes gleamed as he pulled a book off the shelf, Advanced Potion-Making by Libatius Borage. Carrying it carefully to his table, as the cover and a few pages looked extremely torn, he flipped it open and took out his quill.
Ah, section B. Here it is. He thought to himself mischievously, quickly jotting down the ingredients.

Grace had been looking for something to read for weeks that might give her an idea on how to get her lead character into the underworld from the top of his thrown ((it's the story she's writing at the mo)). She reached to the top shelf at drew out a book called The Breaking of an Empire and It's Fall from Grace. She giggled at it's title and sat at the nearest table with the book at hand. When she looked up she saw a slytherin scribbling something down from the book in front of him. He seemed to be concentrating and she decided not to bother him. But when she could contain herself no longer she said, "Hi! I'm Grace, what you reading?" in a low whisper.

Draco was so immersed in his work that he hadn't noticed the girl sit down in front of him. Flipping the page, he smiled to himself, pausing in his notes to read a small paragraph when he heard a voice interrupt his thoughts. Glancing up, somewhat surprised as not many people chose to sit in his company, he finally noticed the small girl.
Staring at her for a moment, he set his quill down on the table and straightened his composure. "Draco Malfoy." He said arrogantly, "And I believe that's none of your business." The ghost of a smirk was on his lips before he picked up his quill and began writing once more.

"Ooo! Tuchy aren't we!" Grace said with a slight giggle. "So i take it it's something you're probably not meant to be doing, huh?" Grace giggled loudly to herself as she fliped the pages of her new found treasure.

Draco smirked slightly, watching the enthusiastic girl before dipping his quill in his inkwell, glancing at it for a moment. "Like I said, that's none of your business." Then, pausing for a moment in his actions, he crossed his arms over his chest. "But if you really must know, I'm reading about potions. Something Hufflepuffs like yourself know hardly anything about."

"Poison?" Grace said looking impressed, "cool! Which ones?" Grace was interested in what excuse the slytherin had to say, but she still turned the pages of her big, dusty book.

Draco stared at the girl, somewhat amused, before shaking his head. "No, not poison," He said, watching as dust rose from the old book she was handling. "Potions. Though, I'm sure there are a few poisons in here as well..." He flipped over the cover, holding a thumb at his page and showing her the title.
Then, turning back to his page, he smirked, "Your book looks rather boring."

"Hmph!" Grace looked from his cover to the one of her book. She pointed to the word Grace on the cover. "actually the only reason I'm looking at it. Your's looks so much more interesting then mine."

Draco scowled, an amused twinkle in his eye, as he pulled his book closer to him. "Actually, it's quite interesting, I'll have you know." Then leaning over, he smirked.
"You chose a book because it has your name in the title?" He shook his head, muttering 'Hufflepuffs' to himself, before continuing his notes.

"You probably think it's a hufflepuff thing," Grace mumbled to herself, "but that's what comes from having read most of the books in this library that's actually worth reading." She turned the pages of he book and tuched a picture of an old man holding a large, thick book in one hand and a long ladel in the other, stiring a large cauldron with it. "I particularlly enjoied your book."
She pushed back her chair, stood up and walked to a shelf marked 'Muggle Books'. She pulled out a thin book thhat looked as though it had never been read before and she sat back down again. The Chatcher in the Rye By J. D. Salinger[/i] it said on the cover in slanted writting. She put her feet up on the table and turned to the first page, then started reading.

Ella was in a hurry to finish her History of Magic essay. It was due in next lesson. She had 50 minutes to do it. "I can't believe me. How think can i get leaving it to know" She ran to the bookshelf on Gobblin's of the 20th century. "Ummm..." she picked up 6-8 books on Gobblins of the 20th Century and ran to the nearest table. Sh etripped on the chair leg that a Hufflepuff girl was sat on and nearly knocked her off it "Sorry" she quickly said before opening the books and reading and jotting down notes. She looked up as she heard a tut noise

Draco smirked at Marks, his eyebrows raised. "Well, I'm almost impressed- That is, I was until you decided to grace the table's presence with your feet," he said frowning, pulling his book closer to him.
Looking up again at Marks, he grinned slightly just as another person bumbled onto their table.
"Well isn't this library just filled with such pleasant manners," he drawled, staring at the girl, somewhat surprised then looking over the Hufflepuff girl's feet.

Grace quickly removed her feet from the table as a griffie came flying through the air. "No, it's my fault!" Draco was as sarcastic and dry as ever. "Oh, dry up, Malfoy! You great prune! Ignore him!" she told the griffindor. "He's always grumpy! I'm Grace nice to meet you!" She looked at the books the griffie was hugging and smiled in sympathy. "Looks like an essay?"

"Grumpy?" Draco said indignantly, frowning at the two girls. "I don't get grumpy. For your information, I was rather cheerful today.. Until of course, two clumsy girls decided disturb the quiet of the library. Really!--" He paused, "Wait a minute, you did not just call me a prune." He said, even more offended than before.
With a somewhat sulky sigh, he went back to his work, glancing at the two chattering girls for a moment before shaking his head.

Ashlee walked into the Library to catch up on some work when she noticed Draco. She walked past him slightly bumping into him without notice. She sat down on a near by table and pulled out her potions book and began reading.
