Draco felt his quill stumble in his fingers as a figure bumped into him. Letting out an annoyed grumble, he looked at the splattered ink on his page before turning around to see who had bumped into him.
Noticing it was Van Dort, he held back his snide remark, and instead took out a new roll of parchment, muttering to himself.

"yes, DRACO," Grace droned, "a prune! One of those hard, dry things that people eat! They are called prunes-" then her eye was cought by a blurr of yellow behind Draco's head. Grace watched a hufflepuff girl sit at the next table and glance Grace's way. Grace smiled at the hufflepuff absent mindedly. She looked back to Draco and concluded, "-and that's what you are!"

Draco raised an eyebrow, turning back to his book, "No, prunes are wrinkly- I have a perfect complexion," He smirked, setting down his books.

"Yeah right," Grace looked at Draco, "you coul- nevermind!" Grace broke eye contact with the slytherin and looked at her hands. "nevermind, it's not important!"

Draco's smirk faded and he stared at Marks curiously, his quill in his inkwell. Frowning, he looked away and began to write his notes once more, "You've got me curious," he stated simply, dotting an 'i', "but I'm not going to beg to hear what you have to say." He shrugged, flipping the page in his book.

Ashlee raised an eyebrow as she stood up and sat herself next to Malfoy. "Hey Loser." She said giving him a 'friendly' pat on the back. She smiled at the other Hufflepuff student. "Ashlee Jade." she said holding her hand out.

Draco rolled his eyes, glancing at the girls at the table, "Really, is it so hard to just get some peace and quiet around here?" Putting away his quill, he began to pack his things while thinking the common room would, obviously, be rid of Hufflepuffs and Gryffindors.

Ashlee looked at Draco. "Hey, why the hurry? I just came over to see if you could help me with something, that's all." she said pulling out a piece of parchment. "I was trying to find this potion but I seem to be having difficulty."

"Yeah, Draco's the one to find when it comes to potions," Grace rolled her eyes. "Grace," she said to the other huffie and shook her hand quickly. "Help her, Malfoy, it wouldn't kill you!"
