Girty had remained silent while the professor talked. She had a bad feeling she did not gain any points for the house and though remaining silent may help. But when the dragon came in she could not help but let out a small gasp.

Leigh closed his eyes before replying. "Well done, Thom. 10 points." He opened them and let Shiela float to the floor in a rythmic circle. Curious about the students the dragon slowly crawled forward and began to sniff each student, carefully darting away if the student's moved.

A small bubble of happiness swelled in Thom's chest. At last he had earned points ofr Hufflepuff - something he had never done before. Even the approaching of Shiela was not enough to puncture it, and he simply moved away instead of hexing it before it got too close. "We'll work harder for points, sir." Thom said earnstly.

Girty looked at Thom and smiled.
"Here here professor. We can win the cup!"
But her eyes wondered back towards the dragon, she was fascinated by it.

"Don't you worry, Addi," Grace rhymed, "we'll get it! We've been practicing really hard for our quidditch match-" she rolled her shoulder in remembrance "-and I know we've all been working hard in classes and everywhere to get points."

Girty woke from her day dream and looked at the professor.
"Yeah Grace is right. We have been working extra hard in training and also have been asking and answering questions in lessons. I really do think we can do it. Although there is a long way to go."

Leigh smiled at his students. "Each and everyone one here can achieve more points from just answering questions and training hard. It takes dedication, heart and resilience. Every Hufflepuff has those traits, and I know within myself that you do." He replied. "Now, as for your attendance here now, 20 points for it." Leigh continued, smiling at the students as he left.
