(( War? No... I'll just have a chat with Mr Addis and have him reduce that to, perhaps, 5 or 10 npoints per greeting. Which is still cheating, but is much, much less excessive.))

(excuse me you two! is the time and place for this? Though I must side just a little with Jordy about the points Hufflepuff shall win fair and squarely, places where points have been given should really be checked out properly to check for bias! A little friendly competition never hurts though!) Boggleworth chukled at Addis "Well sir, that's awfully kind sir, but a little biased don't you think...sir? We shall win by fair means, sir! We'll beat Slytherin at the quidditch don't you fear! Sir!" he laughed Hufflepuff was being motivated.

Grace giggled at Addis. "Well, then hello to you sir!" she giggled assuming he was joking. But when she looked a little harder at the harsh lines on her heads face, she saw that he wasn't joking. She removed her arm from around Bog's neck and looked in earnest at the professor. "Is everything alright, professor?" she asked, concerned because he did not seem to be in a good way.

(( Leigh, that is totally and completly unfair. Even I don't cheat like that. -_- )) And I believe that modifying someone else's post's is completely unfair.

((Oh boys! Must I be the grown-up here and tell you ALL to calm the H down? LoL I certainly hope not. )) A.J. silently walked into the common room and stood in the far corner watching her fellow classmates with much amusement. She gazed into the fire watching it dance as she became lost in the words being spoken.

Thom turned away from Addis and the group for a moment, for a particularly loud crackling in the fireplace had drawn his attention to it. He frowned slightly at the other Hufflepuff, a girl he had never met in person before, but found himself recognising by reputation as the head girl. She was facing the fire, still and silent, her face masked by long locks of hair. He moved away and stood a few feet behind her. "Ashlee Jade Van Dort?" he asked formally, hoping she was the right person.

A.J. jumped and turned around. "Oh hi," she said with a sigh of releif quickly followed by a smile. "You scared me there." she gave a small giggled. "Can I help you?" she said.

"Quiet!" Leigh said calmly, but authoritively. "Listen to me, all of you. Hufflepuff needs to win the House Cup. Many years has it been since we last held it, and it'd look good in my office, by the way. So please, just do the best you can with gaining points. Now, random question. Who can tell me the average size of an Antipodean Opaleye, when fully grown, of course."
Just then, Shiela appeared from the door, her little wings carrying her swiftly towards Leigh. She landed lightly on her shoulder and looked at the amassed students before herself.

Thom turned away from Ashlee. He raised his hand. "It's one of the more averaged sized dragons, about medium in comparision. They're also native to New Zealand." he said the best he could without wincing. The sight of Shiela was always difficult. He had a huge phobia of dragons and strongly disliked them. He turned back to Ashlee. "I... just wanted to say hi." he said a little defeatedly.
