Term Three on its way

I've got the basic plan of the Main Plot and Big Evil. I've basically just combined what everyone has said, as well as adding a few of my own ideas in.

Theres something very powerful hidden at Hogwarts.

A group of rogue wizards are after it - including Morziak and Deek (if you are ok with that Leigh & Darin).

The Ministry want to stop the wizards from getting it, and are trying to track them down one by one. The thing is, the corrupt ministry want this item too and for reasons no better than the rogues.

The Red Rose League, named in reference to Illy's trademark white rose, is an organisation against the corrupt side of the ministry. Having learnt about the item, they are putting all their efforts into finding it before both the wizards and the ministry in hope of destroying it.

Who will find it first? Only time will tell...

Hehe.. the last sentence was my attempt at making it dramatic =P

We need members for the Red Rose League -- some anti ministry teachers would work -- anyone got or want to create characters for it? We also need a leader - anyone interested in creating a new character for the job?

As for students.. having the evil vs marauders clubs thing would fit into this nicely. And as already started.. students have a habit of overhearing things or being in the wrong place at the wrong time - so everyone should get involved one way or another.

loving the whole thing, specially "Only time will tell..." classic line. The idea of the Red Rose League is extremly cool, more sophisticated than others teeehee. I'll have a think on which of my charas will suit best. Even the name the Red Rose League; it's so evocative and powerful, for me anyway.
The Headmaster I'm about to make could indeed have started it perhaps? But I shall see how his character comes along.
The Master Seamstress has managed wonderfully to bring together all the threads!

Speaking of rival clubs instead of the maraduers being truly opposed to anyone and vice-versa, the Guild and the Red Rose League could be on polar ends of the spectrum, with the Marauders inbetween causing trouble for them both... Not sure what anyone else mayhaps to think of that but I certainly thoguht it was an amusing idea. I might need to talk to Matt though...

The idea of the Red Rose League being a serious adult activist organisation is really good. It gives the adults of Hogwarts something to do!
