I think a Halloween Ball in March would be really great, but if everyone is willing to wait I think a Tournment Ball would be ace - we could do it like the Yule Ball where everyone gets a date (how American) and the Champions have the first dance.

As for Ministry person and Deputy Head... I only have one character so I'd be up for making one or the other. Hmmm... could I reserve Deputy Head?

Anywho, as far as the whole "Big Evil" is concerned... And please take note that this is off the top of my head and completly disregardable... since this is a hundred years after Potter's time it would need to be something compeltly new, or extremly ancient. Like a horcrux of Salazar Slytherin, and part of the storyline being that each of the founders made some sort of a horcrux-type thing and hid them all somewhere in Hogwarts, and trying to find all of them to keep Slytherin from killing all the mud-bloods?

I've got plenty of plans for a Headmaster as I feel we've been sadly sorely lacking, I do miss Jordy and Wigglyfish, ah back in the day.
And I do beg to differ all the "good plot people" have NOT disappeared, admittedly many of them have but still, there's a good few of us, I'm an old hand with more characters than you can shake a stick at, though I won't tell thee who I control!
I'd be more than willing to make a ministry person to add to my ever growing bunch of characters, I think more plot with them would be very cool, probably with my Headmaster against them methinks, don't want it to be too much like Umbridge all over again now do we?
I think a big plot would be really really good, and I love the idea of the good old forest, remember the centaurs for example, there's a gaggle of them about, cannae wait for ball's though Bog needs Grace back! That's why I'm not using him so much, sigh.

Well I've still got Gabriel, and a Ministry thing for all school leavers/old apprentices would be especially good. It'd be horrible to loose Helia and Thom since they're so achieved and are loved by their owners. =P

About the *Big Evil*... It could be Morziak and that could tie in with the Ministry as well. I have a plan with Morziak but it hasn't gone too well, sad to say, so maybe Morziak could be the *Big Evil* in Term 3, the Ministry (plus added graduated students and new Ministry officials) could make the opposite side of Morziak, as well as the Professors and some older students opposing him as well.

I'm planning on making a new charactor as well, a ministry guy, dunno who, what or when but I will soon enough, lol.

It should have a bit of mystery in it, so the students can have something to try and solve. The forest is a good place, because it can basically be manipulated to whatever we want, haha. Maybe you can tie it in with the griffin thread a little--

Big treasure at hogwarts. Evil character (Morziak?) wants big treasure. Deek is poor man caught between. Evil character will do anything to students to get big treasure.

You know... that good old generic template. Although, that's not exactly a "big evil" unless some past is built up about the "evil character" and he needs the treasure for a specific reason.

I'd make a teacher character, but multitasking isn't my best quality. Quite possibly my most non-existent as well!

But anyway, we'll see... I'll take a look at the list. Punishing students could be fun, after all.

In fact that may be able to be part of the "Big Evil" plot. Perhaps it's not even known that there's a maginificent treasure on the campus, but when mysterious figures [such as Morziak and/or Deek -cough cough-] catch wind of the possibility of something fantastic, like an ancient magic or an old horcrux or simply a large hidden vault of gold somewhere, they also start searching for it and then any little kiddies in the way are just obstacles to be dealt with... it could also be the beginning of the Marauders club -nudge nudge-

The Marauder's club is an excellent idea. Students that aren't interested in the club could "get in the way" and students that are in the club can solve the mystery! It'd be cool for someone to make a character that's evil, maybe some deranged follower of Voldemort, or maybe someone Muggle wanting revenge on what happened 100 years ago? Just to turn the tables a little, you know?

I enjoy taking part in plots, I just wish I could actually create them. I bet we could all come up with something extreme, though!

And I very much like your ideas, that way almost the entire school could be involved in some way or the other... Ooh! Even the Ministry could get involved! One, hunting down Henshaw, and two, trying to find the treasure and gain credit for themselves with the minister and/or put it in a museum where it would "rightfully belong" instead of with... you know, ghosts or criminals or devious Slytherins and their club cohorts Or the goody-goody students who would also want to give... whatever schmancy treasure we come up with, to the minister/government/museum-type-ish things... yup.

Are we doing the evil ministry thing? Awesome. Controlling governments are always fun.

Maybe the Ministry can even be behind the whole thing, and putting on a front of ministry officials to create the illusion that they're not! You never know. Or someone who wants to control the Ministry...

Maybe we can have a group of students that are evil! You know, to reign terror on the school... Kind of like the contrast/opposites to the Marauder's club. Those that don't go to Hogwarts, but maybe try and gain followers... Like Slytherins and shady Ravenclaw/Gryffindor/Hufflepuff characters. You know, more manipulation and all that.

And the students can have some crazy past that brings them to Hogwarts.

OMG Darin I miiiiiiiissed you!

You and Lena have got some ace things going on here early in the hours of the morning... this Big Evil and the Marauders is sounding better and better! We seem to have a good distrubution of characters who would be against the government and those that wouldn't so it'd be cool to see all the clashes that would occur over power, rebellion and authority. A few more serious and mysterious adults wouldn't go amiss either. I think lots more people should make their own ministry people, that way they could interact much more with plot things...

We've also got Deek, Morziak and the centaurs so they'll come in useful! And I love the idea of Thom being bait (if ever needed... btw Darin, I need updating on where 'a fool's bet' is going because I can't recall). =P I was just gonna have Gail stick 'auror in training' under his name and bring him back as another Ily henchman some day, but if anyone wants to use him as something else then go ahead! He's your for the manipulating/harming/deforming/killing. And Helia as a wand maker could be useful as an in-woman... she'd make wands for ministry and students alike so she'd of course always be in the know!

Shall we try and assess what large sub-plots we've got going right now?

- Morziak and Addis
- The Black brothers
- Deek, the griffin and the treasure
- (And I think I've seen a few other people with maps/objects/plans etc... i dunno if what Mozess and Zachary planned in the Slyth croom wants to be counted as something with an agenda?)

And since the professors/HoH/headmasters/new prefects/headboys are going to be refreshed soon, we'll have a new taste of power-figures.

Isn't this RP set 100 years after Harry and all that? I don't think anyone would really use Grimauld Place - what reason would they have to be there? And we've got the Hospital Wing already...

Wahey we've some wicked ideas, which I'd like to put into action ASAP, yeah I'm impatiant.
Soo I'm gonna make a ministry character now to help along with these various plots and be in total to Bog who to me is the most passionately against the Ministry, I'll make another thread where we can write down our characters and which side they are on, whether they want to be marauders, side of ministry or kinda evil pupils type of thing.
