Jac smiled at the barman as she got her drink and leaned her back on it, facing the dance floor. She smiled as she caught a guy's eye and the end of the bar. Jac winked at him and sipped her drink, looking at the dance floor again. Bog caught her eye again. He seemed to be having a good dance but it was still odd that it was not with Grace.
Bog signalled for her to join them. She sipped her drink thoughtfully and turned back to the bar. She set her tall glass down and looked down the bar. The guy was still looking at her. She took a last long sip, a last look and teasing smile before pushing off of the bar and dancing towards the dance floor. She dance through the crowd and joined her friends, smiling and getting loose.

His sharp eyes were put to the test again as Boggleworth espied a boy giving Jac the eye of all things, his fingers gripped Loren's more tightly at that point, he hoped the lad knew what he was getting into, of course Jac could more than look after herself but Boggleworth still felt somehow responsible for her, he smiled warmly at Loren and realised she was looking quite hot and bothered he shouted to jer "this is great, though I could do with a drink, I'll buy I've just got something to sort out first though," he muttered the last part of his sentence and danced off towards Jac. Coming close he took hold of her hands firmly and drew her in close using a spell so she could hear him clearly "What was that idiot doing? Giving you the eye it seemed to me," he said in an almost fierce tone, he felt protective of his friends, especially the girls as he knew what some lads could be like. Not realising he was being very hypocritical, as he had been dancing with Loren he waited for an answer wanting Jac to get into the rythm of the dance as they talked quickly and quietly, he didn't want to leave Loren or tori alone either.

Jac was quite shocked to find that as she turned, Bog was right there. She squeaked and giggled and went with the flow. She smiled, still shocked and now with neon pink hair; it fell around her face and emphasized her green eyes. She swayed in time with Bog but pulled away slightly at his outrageous comment. She stopped dancing and looked over her shoulder at the guy at the bar. She waved playfully and turned back to Bog, straight faced.
"You're one to talk!" she said sarcastically, "can't I be eyeballed now? I'm not the one with the girlfriend! Am I?" She looked at him furiously, "where is she anyways?" She looked around and Mr Bar Guy caught her eye again. She smiled cheekily at Bog and pointedly walked towards the bar. "Get your priorities straightened out mate! It's the only way you'll keep one girl!" she called over her shoulder, swinging her hips and being overly sassy.

Boggleworth's brow creased Jac's words cutting deep, he suddenly realised quite how he looked, but that wouldn't stop him from having a good time with a new friend. He pondered over Jac's words wondering what Grace would have thought if she could see him. "Eyeballed? You know what he's likely to want the filthy git." retorted Boggleworth shouting across the room as Jac moved away it just happened that the song was changing just then and his words were clearly audible across the room, but this wasn't the time to back down though. He ran after Jac and glared furiously at the lad who had been eying Jac up all evening. "I've no idea where she is! All I've been thinking all night is where she is, how dare you even suggest that I'd be unfaithful to Grace and that i should sort out my priorities, am I her lapdog do do what she wants with? No I'm as human as everyone, that's why I'm digging myself an extremly large hole right now" He said his voice clam and collected in sheer contrast to his harsh and powerful words. "I only want one girl Jac and you should know that." he muttered feeling rather hurt, he knew he was in the wrong and rightly so, but still he couldn't just give up without a fight now could he?

Jac nearly laughed when Bog's words echoed through the nearly quiet room but her anger got the better of her. Instead, she stopped dead in her tracks. Bog ran to her and she stared him down with her chillingly dark eyes. She listened to him intensely. He has no idea where she is! Jac realised, no bloody clue!
Jac thought for a quick second, then a something dawned on her, "why you getting so defensive over me, Boggleworth?" She put a sarcastic edge to Bog's name, and she enjoyed being mean like she was. "Are you jealous that some other guy is interested in me and now you can't be the only one to shelter and protect me!" She stepped closer to Bog, with every work moving closer till she was right in his face. "what do you want from me Bog?"

Boggleworth's lip curled, how dare she? But his words had stopped her in her tracks. Her words cut ever more deep and he knew he would regret this on the morrow. As Jac stepped forwards and the lad rose from his seat as if to protect his new found girl, Boggleworth glared menacingly at the lad, but the desired effect of stopping him from approaching wasn't forthcoming. Boggleworth laughed a rich laugh as Jac's final words rang in his ears. "Ha, what do I want? I'll tell you want I want," he rasped feeling sorrow enter his heart. "I want you to be happy and I know he's not good enough for you. You do realise you push me away and your protection is gone, then he could do whatever he likes, I'm your friend and what is he to you, a person who's simply looked at you!" he exclaimed knowing for once he was in the right. The lad moved closer and Boggleworth clenched his fists in anticipation ready to help Jac if the need arose.

Loren had been surprised when Boggleworth had left her abruptly, but as she had stood to one side and observed his and the newly arrived Jac's growing argument with puzzlement, she could not help but wonder what Boggleworth had been up to that was so wrong.
A handsome boy by the bar was also watching, every now and then taking a few steps forward. His expression was that of disturbing interest, a small smile on his face. He seemed somewhat smug for some reason. When the two of them really began to shout at each other - Jac leaning in close to get in his face - Loren carefully walked over to them. 'Did you get my drink, Bog?' She asked casually, pretending that she had not witnessed their dispute so far.

Jac was a talk, slim girl but Bog was still taller then her. She looked up at him, her dark green eyes shimmering. "Bog," she said firmly, trying to get him to concentrate on her and not the other guy. She locked eyes with him and shook her head slowly. "Bog! I don't need you to protect me!" She pushed him hard in the chest because he still wasn't looking at her. "Bog! I don't need a knight in shinning armour to rescue me!"
She stepped back and looked at Bog, her hair now flaming red. "He is a game!" she said softly, nodding at him, "that's all! And all that should mean to you is that I'll be having a good time and enjoying myself. That should be your only concern." She was clam now, cool blue eyes shining in the dim light. "Bog," she whispered, putting her face next to his ear, "I need you to walk away. Just walk away! I'll be fine! I'm a big girl, you know!"

"I know you're a big girl, but still you don't know what they're like, but I shall trust you," he said firmly swallowing his pride. But the boy approached now rapidly and less cautiously and it seemed to Boggleworth that he was sizing Jac up. He began to move away but the lad stepped up alongside Jac and said "are you alright? Is he threatening you?" Boggleworth turned back again his pride surching back up he walked up to the boy, "You'd better be careful with this gem, treat her badly and you're in big trouble, no this isn't a threat, just the simple truth." Hoping Jac would realise how much she meant to him and how difficult it was to swallow his pride he walked away back to Loren and Tori. Giving Jac a small uneasy smile, he sure hoped she knew what she was doing.
Walking back to Loren he smiled reassuringly "Sorry about that, a slight disagreement there, sorted out now. Here's your drink." He said happily soon regaining his good mood and handing the same drink again. "Enjoy" he laughed.

Loren frowned sympathetically as Boggleworth was forced to walk away from Jac. It was more than obvious it was very hard for him to leave his friend in the company of such a typical and sneaky boy, and Loren wondered if Jac was going with him simply to prove herself to Boggleworth. The new boy muttered some half-hearted retort that was not coherent.
'Are you alright? I don't suppose you are...' Loren reached out to pat Boggleworth's back, but quickly drew her hand away knowing that she really did not know him all that well.

Jac smiled up as the guy moved over. He was tall and kind looking and Bog simply didn't have the eye to see it. Jac felt like she had another older brother in Bog and she could not help but smile at his protectiveness. Her hair melted back to it's warm wine red but her eyes stayed blue.
She watched Bog walk away and winked at him, mouthing "thank you! I owe you big time!" Then Bog disappeared into the crowd of dancing people. Jac watched the dancers for a moment, letting the music move her. She looked back at the guy and smiled, "let's go!" She took his hand and lead him onto the dance floor.

Boggleworth appreciated Loren's concern but having to back down hadn't been fun, to say the least; he just hoped Jac knew what she was doing. "I'm fine thanks, it's Jac you need to worry about," He scowled as the boy began to dance with Jac, to him it seemed like totally in-appropriate dancing nearing erotic. Nearly spitting in disgust he took a swig of the stiff drink he had just ordered. But not wanting to ruin his evening he asked lamely "having fun?" it seemed his mind was now firmly focused on that lad, if he laid a finger on Jac, he clenched his fists trying to gain control over his emotions.
"So what brought you here this evening?" he asked trying to start a conversation with quite a lame comment he realised.

Tori finished her glass of ice cold water and headed over towards Loren. She was tired and needed some rest. "I'm going back to the castle," she said to Loren, "I'll see you later."
With that Tori headed towards the door and made her way back to the castle.

The dispute had put Loren in a miserable mood, and as she watched Tori leave she realised the club had got a little too uncomfortable for her. With a harrowing expression Loren looked at Boggleworth. 'I don't fancy staying here much long to be honest. Do you want to go for a walk, or are you going to stay here?' She gave Jac a significant glance, noticing the boy had placed his hands firmly on her hips.
'Uuuh, its too hot. I'm going outside!' She moaned, leaving Boggleworth standing where he was. She hoped that he would follow her for some company.
Outside the streets were near empty, the night air sharp and icy. It was unusually cold for April, and Loren realised she had left her coat inside. Not wanting to venture back into the club, she rubbed her upper arms with her hands and decided she would stick it out.

Wondering why Tori had so suddenly left Boggleworth took a determined swig of his drink, trying not to see what Jac was up to. He grimaced without realising until he realised he had been ruining the entire evening for everyone by making such a scene. Loren's words slowly brought him back to reality, "ya what," he muttered then following Loren's gaze to Jac, he had to stifle a yell. Frowning yet more furiously he muttered an apology to Loren, who lept up claiming she wanted some air, it seemed he wasn't the only one disgusted. Getting up to follow he gathered up his belongings; a jacket, scarf and hat, seeing Loren's chair wasn't empty he took those things too hoping that they were hers. Shaking himself and trying not to look at Jac he couldn't help but go push past and roughly shoulder aside the boy with the angry words, "oh sorry your big ego got in the way," before a retort he fled from the club not wanting to ruin Jac's evening, if indeed she could have a decent evening with that scoundrel. He stepped out into the cool refreshing air glad to have escaped.
