Loren raised a curious eyebrow at Boggleworth, trying to decipher his strange analysis of her personality. 'Well, I won't reveal too much,' She smiled teasingly, propping an elbow up on the bar and looking out across the floor. 'And dancing? Well I'll give it a go if you'll aid me. Can't say I'm really the solo type.' She smirked.
A Ravenclaw suddenly passed near the bar, a girl Loren realised she had never seen before. 'Hey, I thought I was alone here tonight!' She called to her, her voice drowned by the loud music.

Tori jumped and looked around. She laughed when she saw the other Ravenclaw girl addressing her. "Oh, hi!" she said waving. "I'm sorry... I don't know anyone yet so I'm just like... yeah," she said, half talking with her hands.
Tori smiled, "I'm Victoria Maylie, but you can call me Tori or whatever comes to your mind."
Victoria shrugged, "Just as long as its not Vicki," she added laughing.

in the short time Boggleworth had known Loren he had already to warmed to her, Grace had mentioned her in passing and he was happy that he was getting to know her now. He smiled and said genially "you keep your secrets then as I surposed you would, well we most definitely shall dance and I imagine you'll develop a knack for is pretty quick," he smirked "then again maybe not," he said teasingly wanting to see her have a go at dancing, he was wondering where his fellow Hufflepuffs were especially Grace when loren stopped a Ravenclaw to talk to her a moment. Boggleworth jumped in saying "Miss Maylie it is then, I'm Boggleworth and you can call me whatever pops into your head." He gestured for Victoria to come over asked "what will you be drinking then? Not the same as Loren I hope, just kidding have what you will I'll buy...this round," he joked. "Why on earth haven't I seen the two of you around?" Asked Boggleworth taking the initiative.

'Tori? That's a sweet name, I like it...' Loren replied, stepping away from Boggleworth a little to accommodate their new friend.
She laughed at Boggleworth. He seemed to be a fellow that couldn't talk fast enough to keep up with his train of thought. Loren supposed he was either very intelligent or very hyper. 'Hmmm if you're buying then I'll have a veela and vodka, please Boggleworth.' She requested cheekily. It was an expensive drink that she could never usually afford herself. 'What are you going to have, Tori?'

Boggleworth sniggered as Loren exclaimed that Tori was a sweet name "indeed," he muttered truthfully though in part jest too. Boggleworth surmised that Loren was an opportunist as she pounced on the opportunity for another drink. "My my you've expensive tastes my dear," joked Boggleworth "or else you love to get drunk very qucikly, I can't imagine you can handle your drink." He teased laughing jovially. Having made room for Tori as he would now call her. Ordering Loren's drink with the words "a vulgar veela and vodka for the lady if you please," he slid it across the table to her with the advice. "don't get drunk too quickly, we need to dance first."

Loren could see the impish little sparkle in Boggleworth's eye, but still choose to place her hands on her hips, a challenging expression crossing her face. 'Nothing of that nature can defeat me, sir,' She pointed with her chin toward the many bottles of spirits and ales behind the bar. She downed the last of her drink, the sweetness almost making her gag for a moment - she would not let it show of course.
A reckless daring suddenly took hold of Loren, and she no longer felt anxious to step out onto the dance floor anymore. What was she, after all - a Ravenclaw or a Hufflepuff? She smirked to herself, the comparison a sure insult to the more than bold Boggleworth. 'Join me at your own risk...' She declared, striding away from the two and spinning precariously out into the crowd.

Grinning at the smile that oozed confidence and more importantly a challenge Boggleworth asnwered her smoothly "I didn't doubt it for a moment dear." He smirked as Loren then proceeded to down her most recent drink, jump up and race off to the dancefloor. Ordinarily he didn't think she would have done that; either she was enjoying herself or the drink had gone straight to her head within seconds. Both ways was fine for Boggleworth, though he did gape a little as she gulped her drink so swiftly, had he noticed a slight grimace though? Evidently not. Having only sipped his own drink up until then he now slurped his own not wishing to leave her alone to get all the glory. Finishing his drink and neglecting to leave a tip afterall the drinks had been super expensive, he winked at Tori, bounded to hsi feet with much enthusiasm and joined Loren on the dancefloor. She looked enthralled and Boggleworth easily slid into the motions of the song his natural rythm working wonders. The music was good and he loved to dance, moving closer to Loren he asked having to raise his voice above the music "You having fun?" continuing with his eccentric moves; his feet were ablaze and his arms moved at ten to the dozen, even getting in some hip action from time to time, not caring what he looked like he danced away lost the music and those around him, namely Loren.

Tori thought about joining them but concluded she wasn't quite ready for it. Loren and Boggs seemed like nice people but Tori didn't want to risk revealing herself quite yet. Tori looked at the bartender with a smile. "Can I get a glass of ice water please?" she asked sitting up straighter.
Tori looked back at the two as her glass of water was delivered to her and she sighed. She took a drink of her water and stood up, "Why not," she said straightening her shirt.
Tori half walked, half danced out onto the floor by Loren and Boggs. She twirled around around laughing, remembering her friends back at home at the academy. Feeling calmer and more at home, Tori began to loosen up more.

Loren had loosened up considerably, the music moving into a faster, louder, more layered thumping so that the erratic wiggling and jiggling of the crowd further increased, bodies bumping, hair tossing. Throwing her hands up above her head, Loren shimmied her hips from side to side, giggling at the top of her voice. It had been a very long time since she had let go so readily, and the voices of other people were soon drowned out by the throbbing beat.
Boggleworth's mouth moved, the words incoherent to Loren, but she replied 'Yes!' nevertheless for the sake of it. Tori had joined them now. To Loren she seemed to be holding back for some reason - her moves a little stiff and restrained. Was she shy around strangers? Loren grinned at her encouragingly as their eyes met, beckoning her to take it up a knotch.

Tori laughed spinning around faster, moving her body to the music, forgetting everyone was there and watching her. Tori had gotten swallowed up in the moment. She locked eyes with Loren, only for a moment, but grinned none the less at her fellow Ravenclaw.
Moments later, Tori became exhausted and slowed down. She laughed and looked at the two, "I need Agua, I'll be right back," with that, Tori headed off the dance floor and back towards the bar for some more water.

Noticing the two girls were enjoying themselves Boggleworth was glad, they seemed to be letting go and relaxing as much as was possible in the circumstances. Their dance moves made Boggleworth laugh, but not harshly, they were good in a fashion. He grinned but Tori left the dancefloor apparently saying she needed a "bright snack" or at least that's what Boggleworth heard. Jumping in front of Loren to give her a scare he held out his hand for her to take ready for a proper dance now; no longer solo. He smiled warmly around though there was a nagging doubt and wondering of where Grace was, though she couldn't possibly take this wrong could she? He hoped not as he meant nothing by it. Tossing his misgivings aside he took her hand in his gently allowing her to pull away if she so wished. He signalled for Tori to come back but she was at the bar with her back facing them...

Tori's figure was replaced by Boggleworth's, who politely took her hand, beckoning her into a more coordinated dance. Being somewhat dizzy from spinning aimlessly on the spot for a long time, Loren grasped his fingers more firmly and slowed her dancing to a pace that would not result in the Hufflepuff's arm being yanked off if she felt the need to go crazy again. For all her erratic behavior, the one drink she had drunk had not gone to her head, and she scanned the crowd carefully for anyone else who could join them.
Many of the other dancers and drinkers were adults from Hogsmede, and the few Hogwarts students who had managed to sneak in did not seem to be enjoying themselves as much as Loren and Boggleworth. 'Are they always this dull?' Loren shouted over the music, nodding her head toward the others.

Moving into the easy rythms of the dance swaying from side to side with Loren in a simliar way to a salsa, which seemed to suit their styles Boggleworth was happy and relaxed which he hadn't properly been in for a while now. He couldn't stop himself grinning, not that he could usually anyway if he was truthful. Amused greatly by Loren's comment he answered loudly, so she could hear him over the music, "pretty much." He smirked and wondered where Tori had got to, and whether she was enjoying her snack. Remembering the Christmas party he was trying to organise this year he grinned from ear to ear and continued "the Hufflepuff common room is where it's at, we know how to party!"

Jac had overheard a group of slytherins talking about this new club. She had been intrigued and had put effort into getting dressed for the occasion. She was in plain jeans and her sneakers with a loose black off the shoulder shirt. Her red hair emphasized her green eyes and her many bangles jingled as she walked. She strolled into the club and looked around.
It was impressively decorated and it seemed that many people from school had snuck out to attend. She saw Boggleworth on the dance floor and smiled at him. But her smile soon faded when she saw he was dancing with Loren. She was very confused. Where is Grace? she thought as she continued walking towards the bar. She saw quite a few familiar faces but a handful in particular caught her attention.
As she strolled by, Jac winked at Mozess, whom she had befriended under very peculiar circumstances. She carried on walking and saw Daniels skulking in the shadows. Jac smiled her skew smile not particularly at him but at the thought of their first Astronomy lesson. She held his gaze till she passed then concentrated on the bar. She sat on a stool and smiled at the barman. "Could I please have a ... oo! Um, give me an Doulbe-Babbling Amortentian Draught please."

Boggleworth's senses were still alert enoguh to notice the dazzlign Jac appear at the club, he sighed regretfully, naturally Grace would now here of this simple dance but multiplied to something far worse than what it was, a nice dance between friends. He didn't think Jac a gossip but he knew grace would soon hear of the matter as Jac was like himself a bit of a loudmouth. But he smiled on nonetheless, this wouldn't ruin his ngiht out. Though he had slowed down visibly in the dance he now picked up speed after flashing Jac a smile in return. He couldn't help but keep a sharp eye on her now though and seeing her at the bar via a quick glimpse past Loren he grinned all the more and hoped indeed that jasc would come over and dance with them. He therefore signalled to Jac to join them but wasn't sure if his frantic hand waving would be enough to bring her across to the dancefloor.
