Helia sat cross legged on the cash register counter; recently finished wand in one hand, polishing shammy in the other. She had not really been paying attention to much over the past few weeks [well, months truly] except for her studies and team recruitment strategies directly. It had been nearly two months since she'd made a brand new wand. Repairs and restructure orders came and went like clockwork, and sadly she'd almost fallen behind on those as well. She'd had no time for any gossip or debate or shenanigans like she usually did which was quite depressing. She had even missed a couple school-wide announcements which was quite uncharacteristic, she always wanted to know what was happening in the school even if she couldn't know what was goign on with her friends... but for some reason after finishing this wand, Bog's wand, she felt rejuvinated, like everything was about to turn around.
It was then that she heard the pleasant brassy jingle of the bell over the front door. She craned her neck to see over a pile of empty wand boxes, displayed upon a round table in the center of the room. But alas, for not being born part ostrich she could see nothing form this vantage point, and being as comfortable as she was at the moment she cimply could not force herself to move. Instead she called out, "Hello, how may I be of assistance to you?" then thought silently to herself, "Without moving a muscle from this position."

Boggleworth ran into the shop closing the door quickly behind him and breathing heavily, he had nearly caught him that time, but hopefully he would be safe here though. "You always can my friend," laughed Boggleworth in answer to Halo's question.

"Bog!" she said happily. It had been forever and a day since she'd last spoken to him, and just in time. She kennw she had told him it would only take a few days to get his wand finished, but unforseen circumstances had interfered, "Guess what I just got done with?" she asked gleefully.

"No idea," answered Boggleworth as a joke, running over and giving Halo a hug "I haven't seen you in ages, it's been far too long, how are you? Any gossip? How's the shop?" he gave a tirade of questions then settled back with a smile and waited for the answers.

"I am stressed, haven't had time for any gossip, and the shop has never been worse," she laughed. She found it highly amusing just how horridly things were going for her, but that was life for an Ollivander, or so she assumed. "On the bright side, looky what I've got!" She held up the brightly polished wand, "Chestnut handle, cedar stem, graphorn core. Exactly seven inches," she handed it to him, "How's it feel, Bog?"

Boggleworth handled the wand with care, to him it was a precious artefact due much respect, and it was always helpful in fight too. "It feels fantastic, it's so light and well made," he tossed the wand from hand to hand, then threw it into the air, for it to land with a clatter on the floor below. "And it's passed the first test, no breakages yay." He clutched the wand to his chest once he swiped it from the floor. "I love it, thanks," he cried giving Helia a big hug. "If the shops bad and this is what you produce then you've nothing to worry about. But tell me more." He coaxed.

She shrugged, "Well, with most people buying their wands in Diagon Alley before they ocme to school, it figures that I end up with very little new wand business as people only come here for holiday. Then there'ss the whole business with the Quadwizard tournament, and classes besides, and ridiculous Head Girl duties, and quidditch practice," she rolled her eyes and smirked, "But so life goes. Though I think I will after all take up that idea of yours about finding an apprentice... or at least an assistant to help me out around the shop. I just don't know how to go about it... any ideas, oh mischevous one?" she asked with a teetering bow, as she was still sitting perched upon the counter.

Boggleworth laughed gruffly pondering on Halo's many problems "looks like you've a handful really, but where there's a will there's a way," he philophisized wisely. Stroking his chin and pretending to think long and hard he advised "well I'd just put up posters for a couple of weeks and then interview the applicants, have you anyone in mind? Either way I'd just approach people." He shrugged his shoulders muttering "I can think of no more I'm afraid."

She chuckled, "No one in mind... though it would be really well if they already knew gaia-speak," she mused irritably. She knew that the chances of anyone else in this school knowing gaia speak were slim to none. It was something her great-great-great-great-great-great grandfather had developed himself to make obtaining wand materials a bit easier. It was exactly a language, it was more of a feeling; how you connected with the earth and sensed where the magic within it flowed.
She sighed, "Posters it is then," she said with a nod, breaking a smile at Bog. ""So, how are things with you? Seems like you haven't been aorund in forever. What kind of trouble have you gotten yourself into this time?"

Boggleworth smirked thinking back over what had befallen him over the past few months he answered "plenty of trouble, as per usual. I'm no longer Head Boy for a start," he muttered he wasn't really upset about it too much, but the sense of achievement from it had been good and he was missing the duty days already; surprisingly.

"No longer Head Boy?!" hse asked, shocked. "What do you mean 'No longer Head Boy'? Why not? What happened?" She truly had missed a lot recently. Not know that one of her best friends had resigned his position... She was really losing touch here.

Boggleworth shook his head sadly, "to put it simply I was got rid of because I stood up to the ministry. So now they've got themselves a lackey who will do wahtever they say." He replied smoothly not showing much emotion. "So if I were you I'd not stand up to them, we need somebody on the inside." He said knowingly.

She was silent for a moment, "...Ministry?" she asked, feeling rather ditzy. She had heard clips of conversations here and there about some one having come to Hogwarts that worked for the Ministry, but she had thoguht it all rumours, as she had seen no evidence herself. 'Guess that's what I get for skipping school wide announcements,' she thought resignedly. "So it's true then? Some person from the Ministry of Magic has come to monitor the school?"

Boggleworth shook his head amazedly "you mean to say you don't believe they are here? Where have you been? In a deep, dank hole?" He teased "It's more like they've come to takeover the school, and so far there has been little resistance,"

"Yup, that pretty much explains it," she said in response to his good natured tease. She looked thoughtful for a moment, "So, you stood up to the Ministry, got booted from your spot... you've been replaced by a mindless drone lackey who will do whatever whenever for them..." she was almost afraid to ask the next question, but she knew it would be crucial.
"Who?"
Who would be so worried about getting a position of power that they would all but sell their soul to the devil? Who could be so uncaring about the school? Who would try to replace Bog!?
