Girty ran down the street of Hogsmead, the sun was beating down hard and the black jacket Girty had on was keeping it in making a small bead of sweat roll down her forehead. Looking around Girty noticed a gaggle of people approaching on the horizon. Squinting Girty could make out a few of there faces and groaned as they were people from her potions class. Grudgingly she pulled her hood up over her head increasing the heat even more. She felt like she was sitting in an oven and knew she was going to feel like this for another few minutes until she was in the clear.
As she moved further up the street and it soon became empty Girty pulled down her hood in relied. Her hair was messed up and the back of her neck was drenched in sweat. She could not keep this act on much longer, a part of her longed for socialisation the other pinned for solitude. As her mind was torn she stood still for a while looking up at the clouds floating along in the light blue sky.

Boggleworth had been searching high and low for Girty for some time now. From the glimpses he had seen of her as she fled the common room in early morning and not returning til dark, she hadn't seemed all that happy. In fact Boggleworth thought, she's actually avoiding us all. So with a firm push from Grace to go find her and see what was up. He had left the dormitory in the early hours of the morning, and putting himself in Girty's shoes, the nice high heeled ones she would only wear on special occasions he had surmised that she, as he would do in the same circumstance, that she would hide in Hogsmeade. Patrolling the streets for a matter of hours he had been about to give up when he saw a figure stride past, determined not to be sen by the looks of it. Even going to the terrible extent of hiding their face, he hadn't an inkling that it was girty in particular, but anybody in distress he did like to help. So jogging after them he grinned happily as he saw them remove their hood, seeing the telltale locks of Girty he was about to call out when he remembered she had been avoiding him of late. He resisted the the urge to call out, which was pretty difficult for him, being so talkative. When he was scant feet away he said in loud booming voice, though still his own "and where do you think you're going? Girty Hubbles." Not wanting nor waiting for a response he ran up to her positively delighted that he had found her. "Girty me old chum, where have you been?" cutting straight to the point he grabbed her arm urgently and began to drag her towards the nearest bench. He beamed happily at Girty hoping to get the usual jovial response back.

Suddenly Girty heard a voice behind her. A voice she knew far to well. With a groan she was about to turn around putting on her best smile when unwanted visitor started to drag her to the nearest bench. Digging her heels into the ground Girty tried to make it as difficult as possible however Boggleworth still managed to get her over to the bench. Sitting down in a huff Girty folded her arm, crossed her legs and moved her foot up and down trying to bite her tongue.
After almost a minute silence Girty looked over at Bog with a frown on her face. “Well what do you think? I have not been around so erm…I have been busy!” Girty’s voice was think with sarcasm and annoyance. Her eyes were not as bright as normal and they fell on Bog like he was a speck of dirt on a perfect white dress.
“I want to be alone! Alone! Do you want me to magic up a dictionary so you can read the definitions…I bet Grace set you up for this. Send Bog out, he will prance around and laugh joyfully with all. Well guess what mate it has not worked with me.”

He was dissapointed by Girty's curt responses, but they wouldn't dampen his high spirits which he hoped Girty would soon share too. He had waited somewhat impatiently for Girty's response disliking the fact that talk wasn't coming easily between them. "Dictionary eh?" he murmered, "well I'm afraid I haven't got one, so you'll just have to put up with me and get your troubles out into the open, trust me Girt, when have I led you astray eh? Never I think," he said musingly wondering if indeed that was the case. "Well my dear," he said patronisingly "I do indeed prance and I am always joyful, and it will rub off on you with a little more time." He chuckled as Girty hit precisely on the reason he was there, but in fact it had been his own idea, he'd just needed persuasion from Grace, a few words of encouragement went a long way to help him with this most difficult task, to console Girty was no easy matter. Laughing jovially nonetheless he said "come on Girt spill the beans, you knwo the precedure by now, and i've proven in the past that getting stuff off your chest is for the best...That rhymed don't ya know!" he laughed trying to raise her flagging spirits.

As Bog’s voice filled her ears Girty placed her head in her hands and groaned. All she wanted to do was close her eyes and sleep but that would not last long, it never did. Raising her head Girty turned to look at Bog’s beaming face and instead of making her feel happier it simply increased the guilt inside her.
“Do you want to know what is up Boggleworth? Well I shall tell you.” Girty unzipped her jacket and removed the black cloth that was making sweat run down her back. Almost with a sigh of relief she waited for a cool gust of wind to fly over her. Feeling slightly more refreshed and not as hot. With a deep breath she turned and looked at her friend with tired eyes.
“Everything is up. School, me and the people around me. I can not take it anymore.”
