Grace was already on her broom, zooming from one end of the pitch to the other and back again. She was not sure when everyone would come. She had put a notice in the common room about this, their first practice and hoped they would come soon.

Boggleworth strode out onto the pitch, Grace had set up the quidditch for early morning and so the grass was still damp from dew. He stroked the handle of his broom, checking it was still in working order. It met his low standards of course and he hopped on, zooming up into the brisk, cool air. He shouted to Grace "y'alright chief?"

Grace pulled her broom to a hault and spun around all in one movement. It was Bog. She smiled awkwardly at him and nodded. "Yeah, you?" she asked chit-chatty like.

Girty ran onto the pitch waving her broom in the air. "Hello!" she shouted. "It's Quidditch time!" she laughed and ran close to the others before hopping not he broom.

"Splendid as ever, oh hey Girt! So chief have you got a plan?" asked Boggleworth, coming to a hovering stop next to Grace. "Any tactics for matches?"

Grace waved to Girty with both hands, balancing on her broom with her legs. "Come up!" she called. She turned to Bog and winked, "you'll see! I just want to wait for everyone to get here first."

Leigh knew that that Hufflepuff practise was on now. He made his way over to the Quittich pitch and saw his House team. He stood on the hill overlooking the field and saw his teams drills. With a satisfied smile, he sat down on the grass, legs bent, arms resting on his knee as he watched them.

Thom flew from the Hufflepuff common room window. It had taken him a long time to squeeze himself and the broom onto the tiny ledge, but it had been worth it as he'd leaped from his perch into the air, plummeting only thirty feet before mounting his broom properly and zooming towards the Quidditch pitch, doing a few loop the loops on the way.
As he approached through the tallest stands, his saw the rest of his team gathered there. 'Ahoy!' he bellow, more excited than he'd been in a long time.

"I say!" laughed Boggleworth "it's our new seeker, look at him go, like the clown he is, cavorting around like a looney, though the jumping out the window was kinda cool" He shouted to no one in particular.

'I'm a daredevil are heart!' he called down to them through the window, circling above them in a neat circle. 'Graaaace, Giiiiiirty - how are you?' he asked.

Grace laughed at Bog. "Hey Thom," Grace chuckled, "geart thanks! Nice of you to join us!" She looked around the pitch, "almost the whole party," she said absentmindedly.

Kerry with her robes billowing behind her, glided onto the quidditch pitch and to her fellow teamates. "Beautiful day for a practice don't you think?"

((Just have to add here that Grace knows everyone!))
Grace nodded as Kerry joined the troop. "Indeed," she smiled. "Well, it's only our beaters that we're missing ..." Grace said thoughtfully, "so let's begin! Everyone ready?" she looked at each person in turn and smiled encouragingly. "Well do a few warm up's before we dive into the tactics and grueling stuff."
Grace flew to the ground below them to a large knocked-up old trunk. It was rattling from side to side violently. She opened the box carefully and removed the quaffle. "Okay, we'll start off by just flying in a more or less Hawkshead Attacking Formation, and passing the quaffle to each other. Pass quickly and stay in formation. Twice around the pitch, should be good." She juggled the quaffle a few times, then threw it hard into the air.

Alicia, like always, was late, she had seen Grace notice about pratice but it had totally slipped her mind. She had her nimbus in one hand and in the other was eating an apple because she had missed most of her meals today.
She came to the field and noted that everyone was already in the air, but thankfully derek, the other beater hadn't arrived yet.
"Hello, sorry i'm late" she called up to Grace as she also took flight.

Thom, finally drawing his attention away from his own personally amazing moves, saw that Grace had already got into her position in the formation and had thrown the quaffle up into the air ready for the next player to catch. He quickly leaned towards her and zoomed down, catching the ball smoothly. Thom was no chaser, but thankfully it had been a simple throw or he would have undoubtably missed and crashed into Alicia, who had just arrive. 'Goose!' Thom yelled as he threw the ball into the air for the next person.
