[Forest] Bringing Back an Old Friend

[Caleb Black]

((I know this isn't how Horcruxes work, but this is still good))



Caleb walked through the Forbidden forest around midnight, a broom over his shoulder, and a more frightening item. It was the body of his dead brother. Caleb stole it from the coffin the day of Mandrake's funeral, and had kept it in excellent condition. Once he entered a clearing he set the items down carefully. No one but Caleb new what the broom really was. He made a small fire so he could see what he was doing, and he laid his brothers body across the ground and set the broom close beside him. He then pulled out a page in a dark book he came across in his traveling.

Horcruxes

Horcuxes, being a dark Magic said to be made up by Salazar Slytherin himself, is also known as 'soul splitting'. Soul Splitting can only be accomplished when a person kills another human being with the intention of splitting your soul. This is often used by Wizards and Witches that are of importance so they can live past death.

Caleb skipped down the page.

To bring back the person in question you need to use a simple incantation of 'Horcuxio' and all the summoner has to do is direct the soul to the nearest body, and the person will have regained life.

Caleb pulled out his wand and cleared his throat. This was it. This was the time when Mandrake would be back. "Horcuxio!" Caleb said pointing his wand at the broom. At first there was nothing, but then a silver mist started to come from the broom. Caleb steered the soul to wards Mandrake's body but with every inch it drained Caleb of energy. The mist began to enter Mandrakes body. Now it was halfway in. Three quarters in. It was complete. Caleb fell to the forest floor beside his brothers body. At first Caleb heard nothing but then suddenly he heard a deep breath being drawn in. He looked at his side, and his brother looked back at him with a smile, and said "Its been a long time Caleb. A long time."
"You need to shave Mandrake."
"I will brother. Once I do no one will recognize me."
and Mandrake jumped to his feet and so did Caleb. Mandrake stretched every joint, muscle and bone into his body. His first few steps were awkward but then Mandrake was like a normal human being once more. They smiled at each other and mandrake picked up his broom and the two headed for the Castle together, laughing.

[Morziak]

((Steepy, you want our charactors to get along? Now is the time to do so/ ))

Appearing from the shadows, masking his rise from the shadows with a simple illusion, Morziak watched as one brother revived another.

'The bittersweet ressurrection of loved ones is quite unique, is it not?' Morziak asked the two brothers, a simple welcoming smile on his face. 'The dark magic that was involved, incredible to feel. My senses are now reeling that two abled wizards lower themselves into the flow of the shadows, the very power that could give rise to a greater evil than Voldemort.' Morziak's eyes widened, his smile becoming sinister.

'Will you join me in my pursuit of such power? The rewards for your help will make you quite more sufficient in surviving your mortal deaths when the time comes.' Morziak said, continuing, placing his hands behind his back. 'Yes, the power of the undead is my specialty, join me and you two will forever live.'

[Caleb Black]

Caleb was startled as a new appearance came into the clearing. Unknown to who he was Caleb couldn't help but feel dark power radiating from the man as he said his proposal. Caleb loved that kind of power. He thought about it for a second and then looked over at his brother, who was smiling. Caleb resurrected a mental communication with his brother and discussed their ideas. After a moment the two said together. "Yes. We will join your noble pursuit." and Caleb spoke by himself. " Just a question. What would your name be, my friend?" and Caleb held out his hand.

[Morziak]

Fools. Addis spoke inside of Morziaks mind. Utter fools for believing that you will let them have your power. The mockery in Addis's tone made Morziak flinch slightly, the annoyance of having to build a mind barrier fruitless until it was fully erected.

At least I have power. Morziak said sinisterly, a smile creeping across his face as darkness washed over his eyes.

'Morziak.' Morziak said simply, replying to the man named Caleb. Morziaks eyes ran down to the hand extended out to him. 'Mortal greetings are lowly and pathetic, learn not to greet others this way, otherwise your rise to power will fall before it begins.' Morziak's eyes flared bright white, glowing intensely as he laughed.

'The power that both of you will soon have will be only a part of the power I possess, but it will be enough to tie you away from the binds of mortality and death, it will be enough to give you power and control over the undead I have hidden away in the shadows.' As Morziak spoke, two forms walked into view, their shoulders pulled back and their arms straight at their side. The decaying flesh that hung at their bones moved as their eyes moved from one brother to the next, smiles spreading across their lips. 'Gentlemen, allow me to introduce to you, your new friends.' The dark smile spread across Morziaks lips, cold and unforgiving it was.

[Mandrake Black]

Mandrake finally spoke up, and facing the two he said. "And what do I owe the displeasure to?" and Mandrake turned back to Morziak, "Why are they decaying? And who are they? I know its for the greater good, but I still wonder why they are dieing as we speak." and Mandrake took a better look at the two. He then looked at Morziak for his answer.

[Morziak]

Moziak snapped his fingers, the loud snap echoing about the forest like a high pitched whistled. Moziak felt his power billow out as he felt his frustration rise at the imbecile Mandrake. However, trained as he was Morziak kept his calm face straight.

'Humans are nothing but tools, easily impressed with any great display of power. You both played into my hands, now your souls will join the one powerful soul I already have consumed!' Morziak said, snarling viviously as he smiled.

Morziak closed his eyes, his white hair flowing away from him as his power began to encircle him. The shadows darkened on the trees, the moon vanished, the sounds of the forest vanished as Morziak unleashed his power on the two fools who played straight into his hands.

The shadows came over the Black brothers, but no cried of pain were heard, no cries of forgiveness rained out, nothing. Morziak cast away his dark magic and saw nothing left behind. He felt confused, bewildered at what could've happened.

'Where did they go?' Morziak whispered to himself, feeling a great loss of power, plus feeling a loss in the back of his mind.
