Andy walked slowly down to the lake, his hand buried down into his jean pockets. The wind blew his hair about a bit but he didn't mind because the breeze was cool and it felt good upon his skin. He had on a pair of rather tight girlish looking jeans and a black shirt that clung to his figure. This was his usual attire and he planned on keeping it this way no matter what the others thought. He let out a soft sigh as his eyes scanned the rather empty looking grounds. Once again his feet had carried him to the very edge of the water, where he sat down and leaned back on his hands. The breeze was rolling in off the lake which instantly explained it's cool feel. Andy hummed lightly as he watched the water ripple in and out.

Grace stood silently behind a boy she had not seen before and smiled, "sit any closer and you'll get wet!" She had been sitting on the grassy patch a few feet away when he had walked by and caught her eye. She had followed him to the waters edge and tilted her head, thinking of what to say.

Andy turned his head a bit as he heard a voice. He chuckled and shook his head. "I won't get wet. And even if I do I'll dry soon enough. But thank you for the warning." He grinned. "My name is Andy." He held his hand up to her, putting all of his weight upon his other to balance him. "I'm new here." So he wasn't exactly new persay but he had left not long after he had arrived last year so he could say he was new all he wanted because no one about here knew him.

Grace smiled and accepted the hand. She shook it and said, "Grace, nice to meet you Andy. "Hope you like it here. I do! It's great and the people here are great too!" She released Andy's hand and sat next to him, though slightly behind. She did not have his courage to sit so close. "So are you thinking or just avoiding someone? Those are usually the main reasons for people to come to the lake."
