At home, Rosa was always in the house or inside at least, helping her mother with this and that or just generally lazing about doing nothing. At Hogwarts however, she always seemed to find herself outside amongst the natural side of things and particularly near the lake. She didn't know what it was when she was at school, because even though she loved the castle, she preferred the surroundings outside. This is why she was thinking about trying out for the quidditch team, she had always loved spectating and reckoned the exercise would do her some good.
Walking along the lakeside, she glanced across at the vast extent of water. If she hadn't had remembered about the Squid and other not so friendly creatures that dwelled there, she would had been very tempted into going for a swim. Pitty that she could blatently see the top of the head of something, merely hovering for its perfect chance to pounce.

Liam stared out onto the lake, grimacing at the strange head protruding from the surface of the water. He was usually inside, playing exploding snap or gobstones with a couple of his mates or reading a book on how to tame vicious beasts- considering he needed dire help in that field. In fact, he found the lake quite unfamiliar, as he sat on the grass leaning back on his hands.
It wasn't long before a girl walked into his vision, and he frowned slightly, trying to place her. When he found he couldn't, he shied away, watching her approach. "Erm, Hi." He finally said, when she had come near enough.
