wood walked along the think green grass his ropes in his bag his shirt untucked and his tie untied "wow what a day "he said lieing on the floor looking up and the sun thinking that one day he might have someone to share this beautiful day with.

Miranda slowly walked along in the summer sun. Her arms were full of books and her hair was untidy but she still managed a small smile. The sun shone down on her brown hair warming up her head. As she walked toward the castle she saw a boy walking towards her. Moving out his way she continued to walk up the path however as she past she stumbled on a rock falling forward.
Her books flew everywhere and the dry ground cast dust up into the air. Coughing Miranda looked around feeling embarrassed as she noticed the Slytherin boy.
“Oh bother.”

wood turned around "o I'm so sorry are you OK here let me help you with that "wood said flicking his wand so that the books turned into a tidy pile"I'm sorry about that my names Jake wood by the way just call me wood "he said smiling

As Miranda stood up she brushed the dirt off her robes and looked at the nice pile of books at her side. With a glance at the boy Miranda gave him a small smile.
“Thank you very much Wood. I’m Miranda Wick. I would say to call me Panda, but only my closest friends can call me that. So you will find no one in the castle using that name.”
She smiled at the boy one last time and bent down to pick up her books.

"o right........panda why panda?wood said looking at her she was very pretty and she seem very nice so wood plucked up the courage and said "urrrr.......Miranda....i was...just wondering ...if maybe youwantedtogohaveadrinkwithme"wood said the last part of the sentence all in a rush. great now he'd blow it.

Miranda gave the boy a sideways glare as he talked. Looking down at her books she was clinging to, Miranda tried to fight off the redness flooding to her cheeks. With a deep breath in she looked up at Jake and gave him a small smile.
“I suppose a drink might be fun….I do have work to do though and also I have only just met you…” She gave him an accusing eye as she noticed the green of his robe sticking out of his bag.
“And you’re a Slytherin. You may be doing this as a trick and if I turn up you and your gang my hex me.”

Wood looked at her a bit upset as to what she'd just said "o well you dont have to and i know im a slyerin but im not like the other really just give me a chance "woodsaid trying to smlie

Miranda smiled at Wood as he tried to explain himself. Letting off a small laugh she moved closer to him and looked him in the eyes.
“So your not like all other Slytherin’s hey.”
She looked to see if she could see any hint of the truth, she saw a glint that made her nod to herself.
“Go on then. But first you have to tell me more about yourself. I’m not going to a pub with a complete stranger.”

" ok then " wood said as began walking down the stone path " well i got beaten up in his 1st year at hogwarts by some older kids thats why i hates seeing bullying and other sorts of disrespect i think its so wrong kind of makes me a bit of a goody goody which is a bit boring also my mum dad and brother died in a house fire now i live with my grandad but i have alot of money from the money my parents had i now use to support me and my grandad but i dont know what im going to do when he dies"wood said looking at the floor "so tell me a bit about yourself"he said trying to smlie but the memorie so just so hard to bear
