Ariane sighed and looked around, her eyes stung with tears that she refused to let drop. She pulled the black sweater around her body tightly. Why? she asked herslef silently. Why id you leave me?! She fell to the ground with sadness. IT'S NOT FAIR!
Ariane still refused to cry, letting herself cry would solve nothing and there would be no point whatsoever. The shuffeling of the undergrowth drew her attention.
"Hello?!" Ariane called out, her voice broken and hoarse.

Torin ran a hand through his hair messily, looking for a quiet place to study. Doing exceptional on his O.W.Ls last year had only raised expectations with his N.E.W.Ts and he had spent nearly all of the semester studying isolated in his dorm.
Just as he seemed to find a quiet clearing off toward the end of the lake, a broken voice caught his attention and he looked up suddenly, surprised. "Erm... Hello?" He called, more hesitant, as his isolation had wiped away any social skills he had once had.
Walking closer toward the voice, he pulled aside a few brambles of a tree and raised his eyebrows. The girl was laying in an ungraceful heap on the floor, and he panicked, running over to her.
"Are you alright?"

Ariane wiped away the single tear that had dripped down her solemn face. "Ya. I'm fine" she croaked. She hid her face in her hadns, not wanting anyone to see through ehr weakness, the only things in the world that could make her cry. Nice Ariane, way to get caught between a rock and a hard place she couldn't hold in her sobs any longer and she burst out crying.
"Hey, I'm sorry about thins" Ariane sobbed "I'm not normally this..." she paused for a breath "Broken up"

Torin noticed the girl looked years younger than him, and stood off to the side awkwardly, wondering if - as an older role model-figure - he should comfort her. When she finally burst into tears, he felt himself flush as he settled beside her, clumsily patting her back.
"It's alright for you to let go once in a while," he said slowly, carefully choosing his words. "I'm sorry to have disturbed you... I was just looking for a study spot - " He cut off his ramble before it could begin and sat silently next to her, in thought, still feeling quite unnerved.
"Say, do you want to talk about it - or - I could take you to the Headmaster..." He scratched his head wonderingly, not sure what to do in such a situation.

"Oh, no I'd never bother the Headmaster over something as stupid as me being a baby." Ariane shook her head. She wiped her tears away forcefully. "I'm supposed to be a Winchester... not a woose." she muttered to herself angrily. "And it's good that you found me here... maybe now I'll stop crying." she said, soundong almost thankful.
