Jac had been pondering for the passed while what exactly it means to be a metamorphmagus. After having spoken with Carrie at breakfast a few days before, she could think of nothing else. What does it mean? she thought, to wear you emotions on your sleeve or, in my case, on you hair? Jac had come to the library to try gain some sort of understanding.
She wondered down the isles, looking for some book that might help her with her problem. She had found many, so far, about animagi and shapeshifting but none on metamorphmagus. It was driving her insane. "Where do I found that darn book?" she said, totally exasperated. Her hair was such a shocking red, it looked like it was on fire and her eyes were so dark they looked like there were no pupil.
She kicked a shelf and swung about, finally loosing her balance and sitting down on the floor, leaning on the shelf. "What am I doing?" she said, pulling her knees up and leaning her elbows on them. She ran her fingers through her hair and closed her eyes. "Janice-Ann Biggerstall, what are you doing?" she was totally frustrated and at a loss for what to do. "Where do I even start looking for the stupid book?" she asked, eyes still tightly shut.

"Depends on what kind of book your looking for" L.C said sneaking up behind the Gryffindor. "Maybe I could help" she added sighing. "I'm L.C by the way and you are?" L.C half told and half questioned.

Jac opened her dark eyes and looked up at a slytherin. "Jac," she said curtly in response to the girls question. She hoped this particular slytherin was nicer then the others she had met ... not the best experiences, she thought.
Her cheeks burnt with freckles and she looked at the shelf ahead of her. "I'm looking for a book on metamorphology," she whispered her embarrassment. "Can you help?" she asked hopefully.

"Hmm.." L.C sighed whilst leading the way to a different aisle. Stopping at one right before the forbidden section then turning down it's corner. At the end of the aisle there were five or six different books on Metamorphalogy. "Here we are" she stated more to herself then Jac.

Jac stood up and followed L.C. down the isle. She looked at the big book and pulled one from the shelf. She wiped the dust off and read the title: Metamorphology, a Mythology.
She smiled up at the slytherin. Her hair turned violent pink and her eyes were blue. "Thanks," she said. "Much obliged!"

"Your welcome" she said before smiling at the girls change. "It's nice to know your not some Gryffindor that's scared of me just because I'm a Slytherin" she added sighing.

Jac smiled at the pretty slytherin. "You're not like other slytherins yourself. I just figure you can't judge a book by it's cover or it's robes," she joked. She opened the book in her arms and flapped through the pages absentmindedly.

"I can be like them, you know, how else would I have gotten into it" she said to the girl picking out a book about Unicorns. She was gonna do a little brushing up on her knowedge about them and tonight she would go and see the unicorn Grace and her took a liking to.

"Oh yes," Jac said, apologetically, "I didn't mean anything by it, of course! I was just saying that ... you know-" she wrinkled her nose and sneezed, her hair flaring an embarrassed blue. She looked up at LC, "I didn't mean anything by it, honest!"
