Amanda had been wandering around for over thirty minutes trying to find the library and was now getting quite frustrated. "Ugh! I swear I'm going in circles!" she grumbled, then she passed a statue. One she had passed before, she frowned. "Yep. I'm going in circles..." She sat down and leaning her head back against the wall and closing her eyes, tried to think of where the library might be. She was still sitting there with her eyes closed when she heard footsteps. She glanced up in surprise. "Whos' there?" she called, a bit startled. She had thought the corridor was empty. Apparently it wasn't.

As Dax strolled down the corridor he heard a voice reached his ears of a very startled girl. “Who’s there? Children these days they expect to be left alone in corridors.” Dax thought to himself as he looked down to the dusty corridor floor where the voice had risen from.
“I’m here…I’m on my way to the library….what is a Gryffindor doing down this end of school anyway….you must truly be lost.” Dax looked at the girl hoping that he did not seem to harsh on her.

Amanda looked up startled, to see an older boy standing in fron of her. "I'm trying to find the library..." she replied sheepishly as a blush spread from her cheeks to the roots of her raven- black and blood- red hair. "Can you help me out?"
