Erin looked at Zachary and gave a small smile. "I told you no one follow's the rules these days." she said quietly before turning to the Hufflepuff boy. "And what is that pathetic little grin for? If he wasn't here," she said motioning to Professor Addis "I'd be more than happy so smack it off you." she snapped. "We'll win those house points back and we'll win the house cup." She stood in front of the Hufflepuff boy and stared him straight in the eyes. "You just watch." she said before storming off.

Thom stared after her for a moment, eyebrows raised, before barking a laugh. 'Slytherin, back in the league?' he called after her. 'Don't you remember what rank you came last year? You best learn your place, Erin, or Slytherin will loose a lot more than the house cup.' Thom said nastily.
He glanced at the emeralds shinning weakly in second place, and wondered if he should dock points for her threat. He smiled. He would let it go for now, but next time she cheeked him, Slytherin would be in the minuses before the month was even over.

"Just be happy it wasn't Headmaster Moncrieff, he would possibly have suspended you, or worse expelled you." Leigh said, despite the slight argument beginning. "As for you Thom, you came only to see the House points, not to try and cheat. As for my own House and the points, you should look at the other Professors and the hard work my students do, I have no awarded any points thus far, and this was the first time I have deducted any."
((Honestly, I haven't award any points to any house yet. And this was the first time I actually took points off, just to let you guys know.))

Thom nodded stiffly, feeling a little put out by the spout with Erin and by Professor Addis's stern tone. He looked to the amber stones, which seemed to have risen since they'd been standing there, and then towards the hall. It was dinner time, and without a word Thom nodded to his professor and disappeared through the heavy double doors into the Great Hall.

Leigh saw Thom walk away from the corner of his eyes. "You two may do as you wish, but remember, there is a very real chance you will be caught if you do something wrong. As with the argument over whose house is better, I'll deduct no points for such a simple thing, as House rivalries make this school greater and makes you students push yourselves harder." Leigh said, turning on his heel he took one last look at the two Slytherins, then walked away, leaving them alone.

[OOC: I think it's ony just me...?]
Zachary stared at the emerald stones in the hourglass, back in the same position he had before anyone had arrived. He paced in front of it for a few moments, noticing the smaller pile Slytherin carried, before rolling his eyes. "Oh for the love of--" His voice drifted off as he walked through the hallway to the Slytherin Common Room.
The hourglasses shone almost cheekily in the candle light.
