CHASERS
Sequencing of posting!
1. Gain possession of the Quaffle & Pass
2. Receive the Quaffle & Pass
3. Receive Quaffle & Score
Once the Quaffle had been intercepted the sequence has to start again!
2. Once they gain possession, another chaser from the opposing team may steal it. In order to steal, they have to intercept the pass, posting before the Chaser that the pass was directed at catches the pass. They have to make sure they state that they’ve intercepted the pass, and fly away with the quaffle passing it to a chaser on their team. The opposing team now has possession of the quaffle!
If an opposing chaser doesn’t steal the quaffle, and a chaser on the same team catches the pass, they must state that they’ve caught it and fly off, passing the quaffle one more time.
Chasers from the same team must wait up to 5 minutes before responding to give the opposing side a chance to intercept!
3.When shooting on a goal, the player must say that they caught the second pass, in the same post as the one where the caught, that they’ve flown up to a goal (the must state whether it’s left/right/center) and shoot.
Chasers cannot intercept shots on goal. That’s the keeper’s job![/ul]
BEATERS
Attacking
- Beaters must post spotting the Bludger, flying toward it and they must aim it at a player and swing the Bludger at the aimed player.
- The Beater on the same team as the original striker can hit the Bludger at the same player and thus making it an automatic hit! The second beater to hit the Bludger at a player must hit at the previously aimed player or the hit won’t count.
Defending
- The opposing beater must post that they’ve deflected the Bludger, or hit it away from its intended target. This way, they’ve deflected the Bludger that was aimed at their players and the sequence starts again.
- The Player that the Bludger had been aimed for may decide whether it was a hit or missed. This will give room for some freestyle rping almost, however if you swerve out of the way too many times the referee may step in and call it an automatic hit!
- If no one on the opposing team posts within 2 days after the original strike then it is an automatic hit.
If a player is hit 5 times, they are injured and unable to play for the rest of the game.
If the player is in possession of the Quaffle at the time of being hit then the quaffle is dropt and possession is given to the opposing team!
KEEPERS
Only keepers can save goals!
- Once the chaser with the last possession shoots at an aimed goal, the keeper must block the goal they’ve shot at.
- However, if the keeper has not saved within an appropriate amount of time of the shot then it shall be classed as a goal.
SEEKERS
There is an account for the snitch.
- The person who is the snitch will move around the pitch, making a post like; The snitch hovers for a moment in the air before spinning to the right and diving, landing near the Slytherin stands. and then, both seekers would have to make a post like; Seeker spotted the snitch! Flying toward it, she spun to the right and dives, zooming to the Slytherin stands.
- Both seekers will have to follow the snitch around 5 times (once per snitch post), until they can catch it. The Golden Snitch will post it being caught.
