The only time the guy can be seen wearing Trainers (tennis shoes) is when he's out jogging.

The Personality
Nick looks for security on the one hand and adventure and novelty on the other. He’s popular because he really listens to what others are saying. His own voice is attractive too. He is a natural for sales work and in any kind of advisory capacity. Where his own problems are concerned, Nick can disappear inside himself and brood, which makes it hard for others to understand him. Nick spend a good deal of time worrying about his family and, even more so, about money and his club. He appears soft but is hard to influence. Nick has a feel for history and his memory is excellent. Nick needs to have a home but he loves traveling away from it, being happy in the knowledge that it is there waiting for him to come back to.

Romantically, Nick prefers to be settled and he fears being alone. A relationship would need to be really bad before he considered leaving and if he did, he’d soon look for a new partner. Nick can often be a scoundrel in business because he hates parting with money once he has his hands on it. However, Nick’s charm and intelligence usually manage to get him out of trouble.

History:
Nick’s story isn’t exactly a fairytale. His parents never married, in fact, both Nick and his sister, Nora were conceived out of an affair. It’s not a very interesting story but to say the least, Gregory Mitchell was a very smooth talker and got his way with Lana very easily. It was one of those cases where the man was going through a divorce but was in no hurry to rush it along. Three years he had promised his self to Lana and all those three years he was still married to Vivienne Mitchell. Lana had fallen victim to Gregory and despite the pleas and threats from her family, Lana continued to hope for something the man never intended to carry through.

Life with Gregory Mitchell wasn’t exactly the greatest. He was never at Lana’s home for very long and spent very little time with his daughter, Nora. When Lana fell pregnant a second time, Gregory had swore to be around a little more but of course, Greg’s word was pointless and Lana was beginning to lose faith. When it was time to give birth, there were a few complications with the baby and Lana was forced to have a cesarean birth. Five hours was spent in the operation room and Nicolas Gregory Braye was born. Nick was ready to leave the hospital two days after his birth, Lana however had to stay a little longer. She had developed an infection where they had to cut open and it was spreading to a few of her major organs. Within a week, Lana was dead. It wasn’t the greatest way to die but when its your time, its not like you can exactly stop it.

Lana had left Nora and Nick in the care of her parents and a good thing at that. Once Gregory had learned of Lana’s death, he refused to see his children and went back to his wife once more. From then on, the kids only received cards on major holidays and most of the time, the cards came late. Like their mother, Nick and Nora attended Hogwarts; School of Witchcraft and Wizardry at the age of eleven. Nora had been sorted into Gryffindor and Nick into Hufflepuff. When Nora left school, Nick was left to fend for himself, often going to an abandoned building just outside of Hogsmeade. Once he graduated, Studied Ancient Runes abroad and became interested in teaching it at Hogwarts.

The Future
Nick wishes to be a successful professor at Hogwarts. He also hopes to get his love life sorted out. Nick would also like to find his father and find out what about him and his sister scared the man away.
