Anita woke up very late. She had spent most of the night arguing with the man that had transported her first lesson. He had insisted that she pay extra fees since a couple of his men had been injured during the transport. Anita had reamed him a new one saying that it was not her fault that his men had gotten curious and his opened the box. However, Anita had payed the fee when she saw the young boy that had gotten bitten. He was not more than twelve, a squib according to his father, the man she was fighting with. Anita's heart broke for him and gave the man extra money, telling him to put it to good use for his child.
Anita thought about Everard, away with his dragons and how much she missed him. Seeing the family had brought about bad memories, and how much she missed her family. However, she knew that she had to be strong and she thought there was a good lesson to be learned from her late night escapades.
Anita pulled on her tweed trousers, and blouse, donning a maroon cape over them to complete her teacher look. She grabbed the box of supplies she would need for the class and headed out to the grounds.
Anita was the first one there, but with only minutes to spare before the early birds came to class. It was the first class of the day, and she knew she would have to deal with some sleepy heads, but Anita had to wake them up. Care of Magical Creatures was not a class to fall asleep during.
Anita set down her box of supplies next to a huge box. The crate held the lesson for today. It was a mild morning, Anita was glad for the cape she had put on. The morning sun had not yet warmed the ground but Anita knew that by the time class let out, it would be a beautiful mild winter's day. Anita pulled her hair into a low pony tail and waited in the dew covered grass for her students. She was excited to get started.
