It was a sunny day outside and Arabelle had been in great spirits all morning. It was the first day of the weekend and Ara was ready to go out and see the world! School was out and a new term was coming. There was no time to waste. As she slipped on some shorts, a shirt, and grabbed a pair of flip-flops she thought about her summer plans. She didn't have much to do, so getting a little extra money and having something useful to do with her time during the day was definitely a must. Arabelle put her hair up in a pony and ran out the door. She was now looking for something, anything that would take up lots and lots of time and maybe pay, so job hunting, if that was what it was was on her agenda. Smiling Arabelle jogged into Hogsmede and began her search.
Not fully aware of what she wanted... waitress, show-person, repairs, sales-person... they all seemed interesting, but did any of these scream "Arabelle?" So as she walked further into the shopping centre and small paper sign caught her eye. It was for Madame Puddifoots and they had three different kind of offers. Waitress didn't seem to fit her and cooking wasn't exactly her speciality, but Cashier/Bartista sounded like fun and something she could accomplish if she put her mind to it. Making up her mind then and there she ran into the store to find nobody out in the open. She took a seat and waited for a few minutes to see if she would be noticed.
After about five or ten went by Arabelle fully realized why they needed help. Nobody was here.... or if they were they were hard of hearing. She went through what she would say over and over in her head. That routine finally got old and Ara stood up and shouted,"Hello? Anybody here?" She moved around the little eating place as she asked,"I'm here for the job interview..." and then she heard a little shuffle, so Ara stopped and waited.

Ginny had been in the back just about all morning. The stove was being temperamental and it had already caused three of her loafs of bread to burn. Smoke filled the kitchen and Ginny had to open the window to let it all out before she choked on it. She really needed help and quick. The sign had been on the door for days now and no one had come in to inquire, she was beginning to fear that no one would take the job. After one more attempt she managed to make a decent loaf, thank goodness. She was busy slicing it when she heard the door open.
Of course she couldn't go out there right then she had other items in the oven that needed to be looked after. There was pie baking and it was almost done a few seconds away and that crazy oven would probably burn it making it look like charcoal briquettes. So whoever was out there was going to have to be patient with her. Ginny needed help so bad she was prepared to go back up to the school and ask her old headmaster if he would recommend any of his students.
The buzzer on the oven went off, Ginny opened the door and the steam from the pie wafted out, but the same of the fresh baked apples nearly knocked her for a loop it just smelled amazing. Wanting to cut it in slices she heard a voice call to her from the front, that's when she remembered that someone had been waiting for her, now they were calling to her stating that they were there about the job. Ginny's heard lifted and she grabbed a towel to wipe her hands on, stepping out from the kitchen she spied a young girl probably still a student up at the school. No matter if she was interested Ginny was willing to sit with her.
"Sorry about the waiting, I was trying to bake and a faulty oven was being very uncooperative. So you say that you're here for the job interview, well that's good please have a seat." She walked over to one of the empty tables. Taking a seat and gesturing for the girl to do the same Ginny smiled warmly at her. "As you can see by the sign I am hiring for three different positions which one were you interested in." As she was asking the question her wand waved casually and soon a plate of cookies, and two cups of tea made their way over to the table. "I hope you like sweets, I feel these things tend to go better when both parties are enjoying themselves don't you?"

The smell of smoke, freshly baked bread, and warm apples wafted into the sitting area and Arabelle knew someone was back there, but strangely it didn't bother her that much. She smiled to herself and stood still and waited. They were bound to come out for a breath of fresh air soon, but then she remembered with this being a small cafe there was probably a back door, but she still kept her hopes high.
A foot and then some strands of red hair flew around the wall of the kitchen and Arabelle prepared herself for the interview. When the young woman turned around Ara recognized her to be Ginny Weasley, but didn't say anything. She wanted this to go as casual and easy as possible, because she really wanted this job. The lady appologized about the wait,"Oh it was no big deal!" Arabelle assured her with a small side smile.
She gestured for them to take a seat. This was it. This was the moment of truth. Arabelle kept a straight face, but it was soft and sweet. The woman smelled of warm apples and Ara figured she had just baked a pie or something of the sort. Ginny took a seat at a table and gestured for Ara to join her. She accepted the seat and looked right at her face. "The... um... cashier and barista position." Arabelle felt proud that she only studdered once, but noted to try to get rid of all her 'ums'. Arabelle was offered candies and she smiled and took a few. "Yes I must have to agree as well!"

As the two sat down at the table Ginny looked over the girl realizing that she did recognize her but couldn't quite recall her name. Ginny hadn't been gone from Hogwarts for so long but it was long enough to start forgetting things like names, and events. When she was younger she always feared that happening to her, always thought she would dread the day when she didn't remember every single thing about her old school but now she realized that forgetting wasn't always such a bad thing. Life had to move on did it not, staying stagnate and trying to hold on to the past didn't really do anyone any good. Of course she didn't forget the important things, those things were always hard to forget about, but other things well they could pass through the memory. Of course it made her feel slightly bad that she didn't recall the girls name, but then they weren't here for niceties this was about a job.
She was here for the cashier/barista position. To Ginny this was one of the most important position besides cook. The cashier was handling her money and the barista was the one dealing with her customers when she was unable to do so. This position was pretty much the face of Madam Puddifoots. There's no way just anyone could do this job. No the person who was doing this had to be special have that certain something about them. Ginny hoped this girl had it.
"This is a very important job here at Madam Puddifoots, I would need someone who is reliable, and extremely trustworthy. You are dealing with everything that is very important to me. Plus you'll be dealing a lot with the customers. Right now I know the place looks dead but normally it's highly busy. I need to know that the person I hire can handle it and can be good under pressure. Tell me um what experience do you have, and why do you think that you be a good fit for this position Miss, um I'm sorry I didn't get your name nor did I give you mine. I'm sorry I'm Ginny Weasley." The red head held out her hand for the girl to shake, she had been so nervous about giving her first interview that she forgot the pleasantries.

Sarie wondered the village she really should get a job to make extra money and to kill some of her free time. She wondered from shop to shop hoping to find a help wanted sign. She wondered if she could get a job being so young and still being in school. It really would be okay to ask any way. She wouldn't be able to it wouldn't be a big deal.
She wondered if she need permission from the headmaster and her head of house. She wondered not really noticing that she had passed a help wanted sign and had to douple back to check it out. "Sweet, I hope I look okay." She muttered when she went in.
She noticed that she wasn't the only one looking for a job. She as a Gryfiindore as well. Her name was some thing Thomas. She wondered what she was applying for. "Oh do you want to me to come back when your done?" Sarie asked. She was very shy and didn't want to make a huge deal out of any thing.
