It was a known fact (or at least Tyler thought so) that he had not been a good boyfriend recently to Ashton. In fact that was putting it mildly, a mountain troll would have been better boyfriend then he was! The problem was he was just so busy with this new job at Hogwarts and surprising or not winter was the worst time for illness to spread around the castle. The outbreak of dragon pox has caused even more of an issue and even more paperwork. If Tyler had known how much paperwork healing at a school would bring he might not have taken the job…although he liked being close to Ash. So as a result, he was going to make an effort today and he had sent Ash a little letter that very morning by owl that read; ‘Roses are red, violets are blue; Met me at the tea shop at ten to two.’ It was a very cheesy letter to send and Tyler was sure it had been done thousands of times but he thought it was quirky and a romantic thing to send to Ash…also a little bit mysterious. And so on a wind swept January afternoon Tyler stood outside Madam Puddifoots and instead of looking up the high street waiting for the approach of the black haired boy, his gray eyes were fixed on his wrist as he watched the second hand tick around and the minute hand draw ever closer to the 11 symbol on the silver watch face. There was a buzz of excitement in his stomach and Tyler could not wait to see that smiling face of his boyfriend.

Ash had laughed at the cute, but corny message. It was so like Ty to send something like that. Ash understood that Tyler had been busy, and so he was happy to finally get some time with his boyfriend away from the hustle and bustle of the castle.
At exactly ten to two, Ash was walking towards Tyler who was standing in front of the tea shop. "Hey handsome. So, what do you have planned for today?" he asked after he gave Tyler their customary "hello" kiss.
The two lovers didn't often get to do things like this, so when the rare moment did happen, it was all the more precious.
