"I'm glad you are doing well." Sarie followed his gaze to Girty. She watched 'Mr. Scaredy Cat' tighten his grip a little; she had a feeling Ash's boyfriend didn't like flying. "I've an idea, if you are a few dozen feet in the air. It would be rather bad to fall and hit the ground." Sarie didn't know this one very well. She was glad Ash was happy, it was hard for her to be happy when the ones she cared about weren't. She was always worried about everyone else but herself. JP:7

As Holly stood with the people, more arrived: the nurse and Mugglestudies apprentice, a Gryffindor fourth year who Hol had seen around and, to Holly's great joy, a face she had seen often throughout her time at Hogwarts, Castiel. Grinning broadly as the fellow sixth year came to stand by her chirping about the Slytherin Holly hadn't noticed flying above them all, a laugh burst out of her at Cas's comment.
"Gud won, Cus," Holly tittered, her body still quivering from the laughter. Holly liked Castiel for her charming wit and the thought crossed her mind at that moment, as the small gathering watched the Slytherin fly about, that it was odd that they had not become better friends over the years. Sure, Holly had her own friends but they were in other houses. Holly looked at Castiel for a moment, a daydream about a time when the two might have been close that ended with the two of them celebrating Guy Fawkes together with a few fireworks in the Great Hall.
Ellie pointed out the public displays that the nurse and apprentice were showing and Holly couldn't help but turn her head and look. Spinning back, as though she'd been caught gawping at Prof Hubbles (the headmaster, mind, not his wife or sister or any other Hubbles that may or may not teach at the school) at dinner again, she giggled into her hand that flew quickly to her mouth, clasping it tightly. "Ey'd almost sai it's cyute except fer the gag facter."
As Ellie added her own little chirp about the Slytherin, Holly smiled at the Head Girl. "Aye. Slytherin's don't huv it easy though, do the'?" Hol mused out loud, looking back up at the flying girl. She had never had a problem with Slytherins but then again it could hardly be said that Holly had a problem with anyone. Easy-go-lucky to her very core, Hol found herself comfortable most places with most people. Perhaps that was why she had found her self on dates almost every weekend the last two months? JP:18

The hearty laughter that burst from Holly's mouth caused a hesitant yet genuine smile to spread, and while the uneasiness of instinct was still present Castiel found herself growing increasingly more comfortable around other women, much to her family's disdain. The complimenting reply and the following shudders of humor enveloped her, and the feeling that she had brought another happiness caused her to relax a bit more than before. So perhaps she could make female friends.. Her family could bite her, for all she cared. Holly was a nice person, incredibly easy to get along with, and indoctrination would bear no victory in this case.
Throwing a quick glance to the assembled students the sixth year wondered when they would start the game, hoping a few more others would care to hurry and join them. Hearing Ellie's comment now the Gryffindor allowed a wide grin to grow, and she angled herself towards her in remark. "Indeed.. This may not be a pleasant experiance for her." She spoke without malice, her voice that of simple notation rather than threat. As Holly pondered aloud beside her Castiel quirked her head, a pensive look on her face. "They dont make it easy for themselves." She murmured with a nod at the girl above them. The Slytherin wasn't making it any less difficult by lording herself high overhead, there had been no comments without provocation after all.
Folding her arms over her chest moreso in comfort than anything else, Castiel blinked slowly, allowing patience to settle softly on her shoulders like a warm shawl. Wetting her lips and wishing she had some lip balm the Gryffindor continued to wait with everyone, listening with mild disinterest to the idle chatter around her.[/color] JP:17

The comforting words of Ellie and Harrison helped quell the nerves of Girty, or maybe it was still a bit of an upset tummy from the nights drinking before. But soon the Quidditch pitch filled up with familiar faces and some people she did not know, but the main thing was she could not keep the smile off her face whether it was because of the flirting that was already going on or due to the fact an idea was actually going her way. “Of course I will be playing Ellie.” Girty grinned around at everyone, counting heads wondering if they could start to get on their brooms yet. Breathing deeply through her teeth Girty let the cold air rush into her lungs making her feel rejuvenated and ready to take on all these Gryffindor that seemed to have showed up.
Pulling her dragon skin glove off her right hand Girty raised her fingers to her mouth and gave a loud, sharp whistle to get everyone’s attention. “Alright everyone listen up!” She gave everyone a couple of seconds to finish off their conversations before she continued. “Everyone mount your broomsticks, and get up into the air. I think it is time we had a bit of fun don’t you instead of standing here getting cold!”
With a chuckle Girty put her glove back on, wondered over towards the ornate and highly decorated Quidditch chest, heaving open the lid and letting the two bludgers fly high up into the sky. The second ball she released was the small golden Snitch, the little ball darted from left and right seemingly getting used to its wings before zooming off out of sight. The last ball of course was the quaffle and pulling that out of the box Girty wondered over to the centre circle of the Quidditch pitch and with all her strength she threw the ball up into the air waiting for the first person to catch it and the game to begin…(Okay, the game has started but you can still join or bring characters into it! Remember no rules, just have fun! Do whatever you want! Just enjoy )

She had been so busy reading the owl that came in from her parents that she had almost forgotten she was supposed to be doing something. What that something was she was forgetting because her mom's home made chocolate fudge had taken precedence over everything else. Lord, it had been so long since she'd had some good fudge that she was lost in the euphoria of it. Alexis had a wicked sweet tooth though she normally managed to keep it fully under control while she was at school. It was usually their trips into Hogsmeade that would ruin her firm resolve to stay away from sweets. They hadn't been to the village in some time so she had been pretty good until today. Her mom sent a small tin and Alexis managed to devour the whole thing in less time than it would have taken her to job once around her room. Oh well she was definitely a happy lady now.
Once that was over she was trying to remember what it was she was supposed to do, and it wasn't until she saw someone walk by with a broom that she remembered. "Oh crap" she said to herself jumping out of her bed. Dressing quickly she grabbed her broom and ran from Gryffindor house as if she were on fire.
They were having a huge free for all Quidditch match and Alexis had been dying to go every since she had heard about it and today was the day. Alexis was outside faster than even she thought she would make it. Shockingly there were quite a lot of people there already. Whoa she thought to herself as she made her way over to the others. "Hey everyone" she said happily as she joined the others her broom slung over her arm. "This was an awesome idea" she said hoping they would get started soon.
"Pretty great turn out adults and students alike, this is gonna be way cool" Alexis went on a little bit talkative after eating all that chocolate.
