Sarie knew what she was doing wasn't really a good idea. She needed to find answers. She knew her house would get points taken again and she would most likely get stunned and be forcefully brought back to her common room again. She had waited long enough. She waited till most people had gone to bed. She took a deep breath.
She headed out quickly her shoes echoing against the stone walls and floor. She wondered if she was alone in the halls or is there one or something waiting for her around the corner. She wondered though the seventh floor trying to find the little girl.

Alexis threw down the book she head been reading, there were only so many times she could read the words Transfiguration is the mos difficult branch of magic there is. This was something Alexis knew very well which is why she had been looking through one of her old Transfiguration books. She was having trouble with a switching spell and she thought maybe a refresher course in the subject would help, but so far all it had done was bore her to death which was odd considering that Transfiguration was her best subject not to mention her favorite. But for some reason she was just not interested in doing any work. After sitting there a while Alexis got bored sitting in her room as well. So she figured maybe she should take a walk and clear her head.
Leaving the comfort of the Ravenclaw dormitory perhaps she shouldn't have done this but then she wasn't really thinking at that very moment. She simply wanted to be out of the dorm. Alexis wandered around going from floor to floor simply observing, taking things in. The halls were pretty empty at that time which seemed weird but she didn't really mind it either because that gave her the chance to think. Donned in dark blue skinny jeans, a plain white t-shirt, and white slip on shoes that were silently pounding on the rough stone floors.
Alexis hadn't been paying attention to where she was going, she was busy looking around trying to observe because in the castle you could never be too careful. So it was no surprise to her when she managed to knock into something or someone. Oh boy, after colliding she looked around to see what she hit and what she hit was Sarie. "Oh boy Sarie I'm so sorry" came the apology "I didn't see you there are you OK?"

Sarie laughed at the comment. "No really does. I'm fine. Don't worry." She was going to use that to her advantage. She needed to lay low till she could find out what was happening to the Paintings. She wasn't supposed to be out after dark. If she ran into the headmaster she would be in a lot of trouble.
Alexis didn't know about how the paintings left their frames at night. Sarie had been the one to discover with a hufflepuff, slytherin and the headmaster. Sarie had been stunned during that time. She wanted to find then are there but the others wouldn't hear of it. Sarie wasn't calling them cowards but she knew that the answers needed to be found soon. "Where are you going Alexis, its a bit late." She knew it sounded strange coming from a younger student but she wondered if Alexis was close to where she need to be.

Now, this must be remembered that Harrison Greg is not a person who stuck his nose in other people’s business, heck he was not really one to go around caring what 4th years where up too. However the Gryffindor common room was slowly emptying with people filtering up to bed and as he sat slouched in a high backed arm chair reading his book the 7th year Gryffindor noticed Sarie Thimble shuffle through the room and out through the portrait. The Gryffindor eye brow cocked as he lowered his book and for the briefest of moments sat there thinking to himself what she could be up to. With a few nervous glances to make sure no one around the common room was looking at him Harrison gently put his book down on the table and followed Sarie out the room.
Silently stalking the little Gryffindor around the corridor, but it seemed she was not the only one who was walking around the castle grounds at night as Sarie seemed to have found a friend. Their light conversation drifted through the darkness, however it seemed that Sarie was questioning the other person, so you could imagine Harrison’s shock when he rounded the corner and saw she was saying that to Alexis, a student who is 2 years older then her. Obviously being the older, smarter of all three Harrison thought he would take the higher ground and clearing his voice Harrison put his best impression of an old fashioned British policeman.
“ello, ello, ello. What’s going on ‘ere then?”

Alexis still felt bad about knocking into the younger girl but seeing as she wasn't mad Alexis wasn't going to keep harping on it. Looking at the younger girl Alexis wondered if she was OK, rumors had been going around about her for a while some people were saying that she was turning into a bit of a nutter, Alexis knew the girl and didn't think that was the case but one never knew it was easy enough to believe rumors though unless you had the facts all of that was simply hear say. So she couldn't help watching Sarie a little bit closely now to see if there was any truth to it all.
"Oh well I'm still sorry none the less, and well I'm out here because I got sick of looking at my transfiguration book I needed a way to clear my mind I suppose so I figured a walk would do me some good, but if you don't mind me asking why are you out here this late Sarie?" After all Sarie was a bit younger than her if anyone should be questioning who was out of bed late at night it should be her.
Before anything more could be said a voice rang out making Alexis jump turning her head she noticed another Gryffindor Harrison Greg. Where in the world had he come from, she never heard his approach. Placing her hand over her heart Alexis tried to laugh her fear away "Geez Greg are you trying to give someone a heart attack here" giggling nervously she looked over at the new comer. "Seems like we're having a party out here doesn't it" another nervous giggle escaping her lips.

"I was just clearing my head too. I hate staying in one place with out moving around." It wasn't a total lie but it wasn't the truth either. She jumped when Harrison came out of no where. He was nice but a few years older than her.
She was very shy around people she didn't really know. She felt bad it must had sounded really strange for her to be asking Alexis where she was going. She was just using it as a conversation opener. "Sorry if I sound rude when I asked Alex I really didn't mean any thing by it." She wanted to ask her if she noticed the paintings but she couldn't with Harrison around.
