If you were a bird flying over Hogwarts castle you would see a small dot on the roofs. You may think the person was young, a second year at best, but the dot wasn't. She was a fourth year and a prefect. She was staring up at the vast sky with it blankets of stars.
Sarie Thimble eyes shown with the starlight above. This was her first time she had ever come to the roofs. She loved the cool breeze on her face. As usual she was alone, Sarie had very few friends and fewer acquaintances. She didn't think that she was unlikeable but at the moment she wasn't really thinking about it. Sarie's mind was actually blank for once. Her brain was usually buzzing with things she had learned that day or what could interfere with the Hogwarts paintings.
She sighed her mind wandered back to a new bit of information that she had just learned. She had been made a prefect! She would have thought she would cause too much trouble to ever get the badge. She wrote home to tell her parents. Her father was so proud! She lay back letting her hair flow across the walk way. No one should be up here this late so she wasn't worry about someone stepping on her.

Julianna was bored in her room because she had done all of her homework and she wasn't feeling the least bit tired. Actually she had a lot on her mind lately. Her summer break hadn't been the greatest she had found out some information she was never meant to know. One night while she was feeling restless she got up to go to the kitchen and get something to drink, it was probably about 2 in the morning so her parents were pretty sure she was asleep so they had no qualms about airing their dirty laundry which is how Julia found out she had an older sister. This info had been kept from her because from what she gathered one of her parents had an affair that led to there being some illegitimate daughter out there. Julianna didn't know who she was but she had heard that her sister worked at Hogwarts.
Julia never mentioned hearing this to her parents because they didn't want her to know apparently since they'd never sat her down and talked to her about it. So Julianna returned to school with this news in her head and no one to talk to about it. Since she returned to school she had spent countless days awake late into the night wondering who she could be.
Sighing Julia didn't think she was going to get to sleep anytime soon so she got up off the bed and decided to travel to the one place she could find peace, and that was on the roofs, walking fast she reached them in no time at all. The moment she walked out she felt the cool breeze hit her face and she lit up. It took her a few moments to realize that she wasn't the only one awake and on the roof. She saw the younger Gryffindor and walked quietly up to her. "Hey Sarie, what's up? What are you doing up here?"

Sarie tilted her head up. She noticed that Julianna looked rather upset. She kept quiet about the obvious sign on her face. She looked away and sat up. "The stars are really wonderful tonight aren't they?" She asked trying to clear the older loin's mind.
"I love the stars they just make everything else fade away. Tonight would be a good night to go flying." She hopped up and brushed her skirt off.
