For once Ash was not in the Muggle Studies room, by the lake, or in the Hospital Wing. Nor was he strolling the streets of Hogsmeade. Instead he was curled up in one of the many chairs in the school's huge library with of course, a book in hand. Ash hadn't even been near the library in ages and had to admit he had missed it. Of course, he was a former Ravenclaw and a known bookworm. So it wasn't that surprising. It was surprising that he hadn't been this way in a while.
Ash being...Ash, was of course multi-tasking. Well.. if you called singing to himself while reading, multi-tasking anyway. He was singing an old Muggle song he'd heard while in France. It was by a girl named Demi Lovato. She'd been quite famous in her day apparently. She actually was rather good.
Summer came and took me by surprise

He knew he had a great voice, not that he was bragging of course, but after the huge mess with his old friends Felicity and Bradyn a few years ago, he never cared to sing for an audience anymore. However, it would seem today that he had no choice on the matter...
