Myrtle is a haven for peace and is admired for its relative strength and sheer size. The Myrtle tree itself represents endurance and power and because it is often struck by lightning it has been said to have the ability to attract inspiration, wisdom and illumination.
Personality
Eva can seem reserved at first, but once you get to know her, she is actually not all she seems. She is actually smarter than she is portrayed to be, and will often know little facts about things that crop up in conversation, but never will she say them in a demeaning or a know-it-all manner, because she knows there is so much more to know about everything. She never likes to tread on anybody’s toes and get in the way, and will often keep quiet if she feels like she’s invading your personal space or private time.
With friends, Eva is totally herself, but only to the close ones. She never has to worry about anything she says or does with them, and she is grateful for that as with her Father especially, he is still quite stubborn and strict, and likes things his way or no way at all.
Eva is not one to go out and party, however if she knows someone well enough and they drag her out, she will try and have a good time, which eventually, she does. However, Eva is the sort who would rather stay at home curled up by the fire and watch television or read a romantic novel than be seen partying until the early hours. She liked her creature comforts and being single, she gets her way pretty often.
In matters of the heart, Eva can become quite shy, and if someone is interested in her, it takes her a while to figure out her feelings about the person. This can be a good and bad feature as when she eventually figures out what she wants, she knows properly, but also taking too long can jeopardise the entire relationship, which it has done on a few previous occasions.
In class, she is a different person almost, and just giving students a certain look when they are misbehaving usually stops them acting up. She can be stern, and this probably works well as she herself is young and therefore she can interact more so with the students and relate to them more. She talks to them like any other person, and not just simple kids who are there to study. She uses her memories of school and relates it to them. She knew how bored and agitated she became being talked to like an infant in school and therefore she didn’t like it, so she treats the students how she wanted to be treated, like a young adult.

Appearance
Eva is in some ways a typical Finnish girl. She is tall and pale, although she doesn’t look as pale as most Finnish people do, due to her mother being half Italian and half Finnish. She has long brown hair and brown eyes and chiselled features, especially her jaw. She has noticeably pouty full lips also, and a flawless smile aswell as dimples. She is tall, and standing at 5’10” she considers that tall for a woman. Eva can eat whatever she pleases and is blessed with a fast metabolic rate. She has a flat stomach, but is not toned. Her skin is clear due to the fresh clean air of Finland.
History
Growing up in Finland to Tuomas Siirén and Lucretia Hoppinen, Eva had a good childhood. Nothing strange in her family, as far as she knew of, but the village where she lived up until she was 8 years old was falling apart and gruesome. She remembers just a few days before her 8th birthday, she was out playing on the local park with a few neighbours children, which was normal as they always congregated there, when a rather strange man appeared from nowhere and attacked some of the children, killing two and scarring a few others. Luckily, Eva managed to escape before he was anywhere near her and hide in a rabbit warren underground. She was left to watch the horrors unfold before her eyes, and eventually the police came and shot the man dead. To see that at such a young age mortified Eva for years, and she spoke very little after that, even at that tender age. Even once the family had moved away from the small town to the other side of Finland just two months after the incident, she was a totally different girl. Before she was like any normal child, playful, cheeky and happy. Eventually she got over the incident and began to attend a magic school (her fathers orders, in hope she wouldn’t have to experience the brutality of muggle life and hopefully have a better one in the wizarding world) in Finland’s capital, Helsinki, right on the edge of the Baltic sea. She attended there for all her years before graduating at age 17 and she began working as an Archaeologist alongside one of her mothers associates.
Gaining three years experience as an Archaeologist, Eva was drafted into the Museum side of things, and began working alongside her mother. After another 3 years, Eva decided it was time to see different parts of the world other than the shores of Finland, and she finally settled on going to England. Luckily enough, she took English as a extra class and so she spoke it well.
The Finnish population as a whole are very career driven, and business types, and if Eva wasn’t a witch, she would surely have been pushed into some sort of business role back home in Finland. As her father is the Muggle and her Mother the Witch, there is a 90 percent chance that Eva would have gone to work with her father at the base of a huge telecommunications center based in Tampere, not far from where their family home resides in Valkeakoski. Her mother however is an author for Archaeological and historical scientific books and devotes her time to working in a history museum despite her being a witch. She tends to use magic for everything other than work, and doesn't really associate with any one else that is magic.
