On the southern end of Hogsmeade is a small shop, turned restaurant at the beginning of the new school year. As you walk in, pushing the white washed doors with lustrous blue-green trim aside a small bell tinkles above your head and you are greeted with the warm smell of sweet delicacies and baking muffins that are made from scratch every day. The first thing you notice is the warmth of the room. This is created by the three large south facing windows that let as much sunlight into the small room as could be managed, warming the room. The next thing you notice is the small, round tables fit to seat two that are covered with a table-top sized light blue cloth on top of a white cloth that reaches to the floor. Each of the small number of tables is adorned with a small, white vase holding a single enchanted bright blue rose, which never withers, that adds another soothing smell into the air. Against the far wall, where the passage to the kitchens and the bathrooms goes behind is a painting, a painting depicts where the name of the Restaurant comes from. It is of a large majestic looking bird with its head is turned towards you, watching dazedly, showing its long neck and its long, beautiful tail feathers. It is perched on an old, rusted gate surrounded by palm leaves and ease. It sets the mood for a laid-back environment that this restaurant, The Majestic Bird, is aiming for. Here, you can relax, forget about your worries and simply enjoy a meal with a loved one.
