History:
When Lauretta came to Hogwarts, she had already been programmed to hat all Muggles by her father, a pureblood saddened by the tragic death of his wife. But, she quickly learned acceptance within the walls of the great castle. Although she was placed in Slytherin, her views began to separate from those of her house mates. Quickly, she began to meet people of other houses and became friends with them. LC now realized that she was no longer better than anyone else.
After the death of one of her boyfriends in the summer before her sixth, Lauretta was stunned. She didn't even want to return to Hogwarts, but managed to go back and continue her studies. Eventually, she began to associate with people such as Grace Marks, Helia Ollivander, and Keifer Brently. Lauretta had a small fling with Keifer, but it ended abruptly when he started making out with boys.
Near the end of sixth year, and she began to feel on top of the world. She had great friends and an even better attitude. This was when she began to get close to one Mr. Brian Chase, who was a year ahead of her. The two were friends and eventually became more. They dated from the end of sixth year to the middle of her seventh year. However, things got complicated with the relationship and they ended it. Lauretta began to focus more toward school, getting perfect marks for the rest of the year, and earning herself an apprenticeship at the school for the next year.
After a year of Apprenticing, she took a break from Hogwarts, and got an internship at the ministry. Then, she taught at a prestigious school of magic in Italy for three years. But, she missed her home, which is what Hogwarts had become. Hogwarts had molded her from the rough, silly little girl she used to be into the woman she was now. It was where she belonged, so the summer before this term she wrote to the Headmaster and asked for a teaching position. He graciously accepted, and Lauretta made her way here, settling back into the one place she had always loved.
