Laney laughed, "Fine, we'll be nerds," she said nudging him with her shoulder. His next question caught her off guard, "Well, I've never really thought about it. Maybe work with Ashton; he designs clothes and I've helped with a few ideas." Carolanne really didn't know what she wanted to do. Finally she shrugged, "When I was younger, I wanted to be one of those people that went around the world to the third-world countries and learned about their culture," she laughed, "I know it sounds weird, but once you've been everywhere in France, you just want to learn more about other places. That or I think I grew tired of being in France my whole life," she finished.

Cristian pouted. He was impressed.
"That's cool. I'm not sure why I want to be, definately something to do with History though. Maybe a History of magic teacher or some sort of history thing at the ministry. I dunno" he said shrugging to himself. He'd never really thought much into it, he just knew he wanted to be involved in history.
"I want to travel the world though first, and get first had experience" he smiled thinking about it.

Laney smiled, "I know," she said looking at him, "We can travel the world together that way we both get what we want," she said grinning. It wasn't a very thought out plan nor was it a plan at all at the moment. It was just something she thought of to fill the silence. She wouldn't mind taking a trip around the world with someone. Carolanne, like Cris, wasn't sure about her future. "I'm sure we'll both figure it out when the time comes."

Cristian pondered on this for a moment, and simply gave a quick smile at her. He probably thought the same as her, as in he didn't know how his future was going to turn out. After all, for all he knew, after Hogwarts he could be back in foster care again if he didn't sort himself out quickly enough and buy a place of his own.

Laney stared at the fire as it burned brightly. She watched the sparks light up with a small 'pop' as the logs moved themselves. She sighed and rested her head on Cristian's shoulder. Carolanne didn't know why she did it but she was happy that she did.

Cristian smiled as she leant her head on his shoulder. he stroked her hair down and gently leant his cheek on her head.
"I wonder what everyone else is up to? I've not seen them for hours" he thought.

Carolanne closed her eyes as Cris stroked her hair. She opened her eyes and glanced from side to side. The commonroom was empty and it had been for a while. She shrugged, "I don't know. Do you think there's something going on that we don't know about?" she asked him.

Cris thought for a moment at her suggestion.
"Hmm, maybe. We have been up here for ages, and before you came in it was about two hours before i'd seen anyone else" he said a little confused.

Laney shrugged again, "What do you want to do, then?" she asked him, "We could form a search party or something," she said laughing. Carolanne really didn't know where everyone was. She looked behind her shoulder at the clock, "That's why," she said returning her gaze to Cristian, "It's lunch time."

Cristian smacked his hand on his forehead.
"That's why! No wonder i'm hungry! Do you wanna go down for something to eat?" he asked looking at her.

Carolanne thought for a moment. She was hungry and she knew that chocolate wasn't exactly a healthy lunch time meal. She nodded, "Yeah, I could use something. I'm famished," she said standing up and straightening her shirt and pant legs.

Cristian stood up and straightened out his tie and shirt.
"Be back in a mo" he said indicating to his book.
He ran up the dorm stairs and threw the book on his bed. He smiled at the photo of his mother on the side and jogged back down the dorm steps again.
"Are you ready?" He asked heading for the door to open it for Laney.

Laney waited for Cristian as he ran to his dorm to put the book away. She stared at her raincoat until he came back. Laney nodded, "Yeah I think so," she said following Cris.

Cristian let Laney walk infront while he closed the door to the common room.
They walked down the stairs and towards the Great hall.
"So, have you made any other friends yet?" he said as he jumped the last few steps.
